I had a scheduled appointment with the manager last Saturday at one before my move in date to discuss hanging wires but to no avail didn't show up. I complained and was told I would be given $25 credit and had to reschedule. PS wasn't willing to be inconvenienced so I opted to take an appointment this morning and reminding them that I would be driving far for this meeting and that my gas, and time was important. They assured me that the manager would show. I'm beyond pissed and convinced that there is no management at the 1601 E Beltline Rd Coppell TX and that it is 100 percent virtual. I want my money back and I want to relocate somewhere else. Oh I might also add on my fourth day in this storage, I no longer have access to my storage as the storage next to me was vandalized and now my unit won't open and is stuck. It's been a few days now and nothing! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! RUN FROM PS. NOT WORTH IT! I REGRET RENTING HERE. Convenience is not always worth it.

I rented my unit at the beginning of March. Exactly 3 months later, I received a notice that my monthly rate would increase 20%. That is an increase of almost $40 per month after just 3 months. The contract given to renters does say they can increase rent AT ANY TIME as long as they give 30 days notice. I acknowledge that. However, I did ask when rent increases usually happen before I decided to use this company. The Extra Space Storage employee said that rent increases once after 6 months and then it does not increase again for another 12 months. It turns out that is completely false. I do not expect any kind of help from this company. They are within their contractual rights. after all. However, this is terrible treatment for a new renter, and I hope for this review to act as a warning to any person considering to rent here. This is where things go from very good to very NOT good. As with so many similar experiences talking to almost anyone on the phone these days, the representatives: 1) Talk extremely fast, much faster than necessary and certainly far too fast than a normal conversation between two people 2) Their accent is so thick, it is VERY difficult to understand exactly what they are attempting to say. 3) They do not listen carefully to the question(s) that I am attempting to ask. 4) They are compelled to repeat everything back to me in a robotic-like fashion. 4) They repeat their answer to me 4-times over, even if I clearly understood what they said the first time.

The Manager AMANDA always gave the BEST in Customer Service. Amanda was always prompt to answer my call and to answer any questions. She proved to be personable and efficient! Even by phone I knew she was smiling, and loves what she does. She is a wonderful person and a an asset to Alamo Storage Company! My worries were few as the unit was Climate Controlled, regularly Pest Controlled and the property always kept clean and secured. The Security System is excellent and I never had an issue whatsoever! During the 10 years I had NO bad experience, none of my valuables were damaged or even dusty since the area is maintained as it has been. As far as the value, it was the most affordable anywhere. I appreciate that even after my 10 years I still paid half what I would pay in other states! Again, Amanda is manager of the N. Apparently, the national number gets kickbacks when they circumvent the phone calls to them, and they charge significantly more than Alren at the Plano office charges. Like a LOT more. So, if you call their local number, make sure to ask the full name of the representative and where he/she/they are at the moment. Or just ask for Alren. He will take good care of you. The place is SO clean and new and climate controlled. It's the nicest storage center I'd ever seen, and the local staff there is exceptionally nice and friendly.

We felt really good about the security and cleanliness of the units (all climate controlled) and the facility overall (the Plano location was only built a couple of years ago and it's super clean). Plus the ease of being able to drive up so close to the units. We worked with Wendy and she's been so kind and helpful and informative through the entire process. I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat.
