We've ordered takeout from this location 3 different times since they opened and every time without fail we will show up for our food at our scheduled time and end up having to wait a minimum of an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Every time this has happened. I heard one of the workers tell a customer "we had a lot of people show up for their food so we're behind " this has been a consistent problem, And one that is entirely frustrating when you have little kids waiting in the car. read more

The sweet potato fries are AMAZING. Our go to is the tri tip sandwich with sweet sauce but it's a large heavy meal so I sometimes get the triple grilled cheese and it's also delicious. The bench seating with 90 degree backs are so uncomfortable though, certainly not a place to linger and chat. read more

Opening day and everything was great! I've been waiting for them to open and was so stoked it ended up being on my birthday. Got the tri-tip salad (delish), sweet potato fries, and rosemary fries. Gotta say big surprise visiting Cubby's again ! The first time I tried the restaurant was when it first opened up in Bountiful, I was disappointed to say the least! I won't go into detail about my first visit. I decided might as well give it another try since it's been awhile, I was so shocked at the difference! First off my order was taken by the new manager Maddy and she was super helpful on recommendations on her favorite items and she was also super friendly , which Cubby's was lacking previously. She was so friendly and it looks like she takes pride in the restaurant. The employees seemed to be following her lead and it actually seemed like everyone was happy to be there. Disappointing. Ordered a half steak salad and it was so tiny! I really think it depends on which employee makes it. I have had this salad numerous times and its never been this small. Flavor was good but I think for the price it's not a good value. One half salad, a drink and a 15% tip came to to almost $17. read more

They told me they were out of the Bender Bowl so I ordered the kale and wild rice salad. They brought it to me in a carton and it was not mixed up. I told them it didn't look like the kale and wild rice salad and they said they can't mix their salads anymore. That they are down two workers and they don't have enough bowls??? What has happened to cubby's? Used to live it here but this location is bad. I also had a gift card and the person who took my order had a very hard time typing in all the numbers. Took forever. Worst customer service I've witnessed in years. Lazy and rude staff that have no sense of customer service. Furthermore the fries were stale and cold and the salads had seemingly 2oz of meet total for a full (regular) salad. Don't waste your time and money with this place. read more

Cubby started out good, but I've gotten too many bad foods to make me go back anymore. I got the Buffalo chicken salad, and it was basically just lettuce. I got the amount of chicken equivalent to 2 chicken nuggets and basically no toppings. I tried the jal ranch quesadilla another time, and the chicken was not all the way done. We usually really like Cubby's and I was very excited to take some people there who had never been before. I had never been to this location before, and I was disappointed. I would highly suggest a complete overhaul of this specific location or I fear it will not end well for them based on my experience. Two of us had the three cheese grilled cheese. I expect an amazing, gooey grilled cheese for $9. What I got was a grilled cheese with the scant cheese barely even warmed. You could have easily told me it was a veggie sandwich with a slice of cheese and I would not have second guessed it. Also, if you are doing a grilled cheese for an entree, you better be using the best cheeses available. Cheese should have tons of flavor, but unfortunately we got cheese that could possibly have been American cheese. Speaking of American cheese, $5 for a kids grilled cheese with American cheese?! In my opinion, the "kids" part of kids meal should never compromise the quality, but rather means just a smaller portion. A piece of processed cheese on a hamburger bun is something I'd expect at a restaurant of much less quality than Cubby's. We also got the basic hamburger, Le Squish. I honestly don't really have words for it. A very sad excuse for a burger. The fries that we usually live at Cubby's were an ultimate disappointment. We got there and nobody else was at the restaurant. Our fries were not fresh at all, and I'm certain were a leftover batch from the previous customer whenever the last person was there. Anyway, this experience won't deter me from eating at Cubby's, but This location needs some serious improvement. I have been here a total of 4 times because I want keep giving them more chances, but after the 4th time with a bad experience I think this will be my last visit. I have been waiting for a Cubby's to open in Davis county forever and I was so happy when this one opened. Sadly every time I have been here my order has been wrong. The first time i went I ordered maple syrup with my fries which they forgot and the fries were almost raw. I was so disappointed, but I let it slide because it was their opening day. The next two times they forget my maple syrup again and the sandwich I ordered with onion only came with onion and cheese. The final time I went again the maple syrup was forgotten. I'm sure it's delicious, but sadly I've never tried it despite paying for it every single time. I also ordered a shake which I was excited to try and when we pulled away I realized it was barely half way full. I have never been through the drive thru without some kind of mistake to my order. I love the food here, but the service is terrible. Sadly will not be returning to this location. read more

My husband and I tried out Cubby's in Bountiful at 7:00 on a Saturday night. I expected it to be busy at that time but there only a few people there. We ordered the Houdini burgers, rosemary fries and sodas. 50.00 bucks with the tip for burned (charred black pieces flaked off the tops) burgers, limp fries that didn't taste bad but were just "meh", 2 medium sodas and two cookies. Not worth the money and I was genuinely surprised at how bad the burgers were. The service was mediocre at best. I wanted to like this place but we will never go here again. read more

The two times I've eaten here, I've ordered online and picked up at the designated pick up area. The process is smooth, text & they bring it out. I've had the Tri-Tip salad, which was fantastic!! The meat was tender, flavorful and was perfect in the salad. My new favorite is the Beet & Goat cheese salad. The cheese melts in your mouth, fresh ingredients, crunchy pistachios, so good! I've been to this location twice, both times they screwed up the order. I called the first time so they could remedy, which they did not. I ordered again today, and the order was not right again. Frustrating because they are really expensive fast food. Not only did they get the order wrong but they were forgetting to add the additional items requested, which were paid for. My wife made a "hurry up" online order and I rushed out to pick it up. When I opened up my bag the order appeared to be incorrect. I went back inside to address the problem. They were so nice, they showed me that the order was actually correct and we had messed it up, but then rather than send me on my way they gave me what we thought we had ordered and didn't charge me for the additional items. came here on a date night and have been to this location before and it went smoothly so I expected the same. as soon as we came in the cashier was screaming and singing explicit rap lyrics while taking our order. we ordered two shakes and we could hear one of the workers very upset that we did. I understand some things are a pain to make but don't complain visibly in front of the customers ordering it. very unprofessional transaction. as soon as we sat down all we heard was the staff just yelling. i understand have fun with your coworkers but it's a lot of "shut up" and just teasing that customers do not really need to hear! really not a welcoming vibe. food was great though just wish it was made with a better attitude! read more

We were so excited to finally try Cubby's for the first time. When we walked in I asked if they cooked with peanut oil as my brother is allergic. The worker acted very put off by this question and didn't have a definite answer. We then ordered and ate our burgers and sandwiches. We finished eating and still were waiting on our fries. My husband walked up to ask for them and everyone just looked at him without helping. Everyone acted so annoyed by us while we continued to wait to be acknowledged. Then a girl who had just taken out the trash bags gave them to us with her bare hands and had not washed. The only kind employee was Ashley who was very kind and helpful.
