I needed my Epson printed repaired cause there were gaps in the prints! OMG, what to do? Do I get it repaired? I was hoping that the repair route would be the best way. So I went to the Epson website to look for a local service center. Awesome, there's this one near where I work! Darn, the operating hours during the week are when I'm supposed to be at work. Thank goodness I called and the gentleman said that he'd wait till I get there. When I arrived and walked in, I couldn't believe how unorganized his repair shop was. Things are everywhere, and I can't imagine that the Fire Marshall would give their stamp of approval for this poor excuse for a business. There are machines everywhere with as much as 1 foot width of walking space. How is this safe for his techs or even his clients? It took some time for this older gentleman to ask me questions about my troubled printer. It took about 20-30 minutes to get the invoice all prepared with a few intermittent stories in between. The initial diagnosis and labor charge was $75. They were going to check out the printer head to see what's wrong. I called the next day to see what the status was. The same gentleman explained that they are soaking the printer head to unclog it. OK, so I waited a few more days until I finally received a call to notify me that the printer head was broken. So I thought in my head, you couldn't tell it was broken until you soaked it? So, to replace it, it was going to cost an additional $60-80, and he needs to order it from China. So if you're doing the math as you read this, this will cost $155 max to repair, so far. That's if he doesn't find something else to say need repairing. That's a new printer, your probably thinking. Yes it is. They only reason why I even ventured to bring it in, was because I just spent about $80 on new ink cartridges and was hoping that a cheap repair would have followed. Little did I know it wasn't cheap, plus I'm thinking I'm getting swindled by this whipper snapper. So I called the gentleman back the day after I received his call to let him know that I'm choosing not to repair the printer. I informed him, because of his hours and my work hours, that the latest I would pick up the printer is next week. He automatically replied that I needed to pick it up sooner or I'll have to pay rent. What the heck? He explained that he received a number of repairs and he doesn't have space. Who charges rent something that has only been there for a few days. And when I came back to pick up the printer, I did see a posting that there will be a charge for anything left over 30 days. So I picked up my printer the day after he called. I was already running late for work, so I figured that coming in a little alter wouldn't hurt to get my printer back so I don't get charged rental space. LAME! So I go in to this hot mess of a business and he has to search for my printer. He looking throughout the main room and couldn't find it and finally went to the back to search for it. I was almost scared that he had lost it in the mess he has at the this place. After a few minutes passed, it was found! He printed up the receipt and I wasn't charged the balance of the $75, which was the $30 above the $45 collected at the time I dropped it off. This place is a shady business. I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even to my worst enemy. The service charges are extraordinary! Even for the initial charge, I could have purchased a cheap black and white printer! And for the remark of charging rent if I didn't pick up my printer sooner, no where was that advertised. Granted, I didn't look for it I will definitely be contacting Epson and reporting this place to them. One should always read the bad reviews, for they are the truth. 5 star good reviews are written, expecting a payback /kickback from owners. In this case, Larry Canter's CSA computer repair's  bad yelp reviews are true. NEVER GO to CSA. This CSA owner, Larry Canter, did the same despicable treatment to me. 1. CSA had my Epson printer in his possession for 5 MONTHS for a repair! 2. Bottom line:  I lost money dealing with CSA. 3.  I placed 14 to 20 phone calls during 5 months.  Larry always said " I will call you back" and didn't.  " I will ask the repairman", and never called back. He left me hanging for 5 months with false promises - "we'll get it fixed soon, soon, soon ........" 4.  Larry accused me of not knowing how to use a printer, when CSA never got around repairing it. When an old man comes up with utterly stupid accusations like that, one knows what a fool sounds like when a fool runs out of excuses. Anything CSA did wrong was " oh well ".  But Larry had the audacity to accuse me of everything under the sun. I waited for 5 months for CSA to fix.  How is waiting - the customer's fault? 5.  CSA wasted my time, caused me 5 MONTHS of mental & emotional anguish,  waiting & dealing with Larry's abrasive behavior, having to call 14+ times, to babysit this owner, an adult, and his business. 6.  In every single phone call, Larry lies- says "I am driving, can't talk", who always hangs up in my mid sentence. I can hear his utensil noises and eating sounds. 7. Larry abused my / his customer's trust, and continues. 8. This man turns around and forgets 9.  I was too forgiving, good natured and loyal to this man. 10.   The old CSA pictures, here on yelp, are true.  CSA store was a pig pen.  In 2019, CSA had a fire and Larry got insurance money.  CSA lost all customer's properties in the fire. My printer head went out on my Epson. Larry & his team replaced it. About a month later I was having issues again. I spoke to Larry, and took my printer back to him. He repaired it under warrantee with no costs to me. It has been running like new ever since. I'm not sure of other's experiences, but I personally would recommend this business. I experienced 1st hand if there is a problem, he will back up his work and make it right. read more

Stay away from this idiot. Can't fix a system properly, won't stand behind his "repair", and acts like a complete jackass. He doesn't help his customers at all! Hangs up the phone on me! Fixed my expensive photo printer in hours. I was having all sorts of trouble with my Epson Stylus Photo 1400 with printing. I took it into CSA and they were able to diagnose and fix my printer very quickly. I found them through Epson's website. I was pleasantly surprised when they called the same day and it was fixed. So glad I didn't have to purchase a new printer! read more

I needed ink pads replaced on my printer. Called to ask if did that and when (couldn't go another day without my printer) Good ole honest customer service, asked how old printer? To repair may be more expensive than to replace. Said I could drop it off and get next day. YEAH!! Was done when promised, very fair price and I am back up and printing away. Thank you!! read more

They charged me for parts on my printer, said they sent it to Epsom, and my printer was fixed. When I got it home and plugged it in the same error code came up as when I brought it to them. It was not fixed, and they refuse to give me my money back. I would not recommend these people. read more

My Toshiba Lab Top got hit with a virus and I had the "Blue Screen Blues!". Now my wife and I have gone to other places but my wife had told me of this place as she was driving on her way to a Fullerton Appointment. She was very happy with the service here. So I said what the heck...I'll give CSA Computer Systems a shot. When I got there I was very pleased to see that the accessibility to this proprietorship was EZ. (Just North of Orangthorpe, on the West-side of Raymond, North of the 91 Freeway.) There was parking galore. As I entered I immediately found that there were computers and printers everywhere! They were either probably being worked on or for sale. For me this was a sign of a "Beautiful Mind" or genius...I was not wrong! I met the owner, Dr, Larry Canter. He was a gentleman to me an he gave me a quote and printed me a work order. His word was his bond. His price was fair, the service was thorough, and faster than I had expected. I turned in my lap top at approximately 10:30 am and he called me back on our landline at about 4:00 pm to tell me my lap was repaired and "Good to Go! He offered to wait but I just informed Dr. Canter that I would just come in the following morning. So the next day Dr. Canter charged me the additional $ for the repair, printed me an invoice and I was outta there. I also forgot to mention that there is a warranty on all repair work. Yeah my wife was right about the service offered here. For sure I will come here again. Dr. Canter is truly "Old School" and I did not find him dishonest in any manner whatsoever. In fact it was very refreshing to see that kind of customer service he provided to me. Dr. Canter with all his accomplishments is a man of Great Humility. This guy is very dishonest and rude, avoid him he tells you he will repair your device under warranty, according to him after testing the projector, that is exactly what he is supposed to do, the electronic is not defective, and in this case he cant charge Epson for his time, ends up charging you. He has very poor or non existent CS, avoid him of you dont want to be robbed. If you complaint, he threatens to call the cops, and not return your electronic. read more

Epson sent me over for repairs and he was unable to diagnose the problem. Rather than simply returning my projector he kept it for over 6 weeks and refused to return it. I called Epson to report my issue. Epson said that he claims that he quoted the repair at $1800 and that I was trying to only pay $200. Both of these claims are false. For starters my projector is only worth 700, so why would its repair cost more than the actual product? No one would pay for that they would simply chuck their current projector and get a new one. Also, he actually quoted $267 + $80 for diagnostics. Avoid this place. read more
