I should have made the drive. It was 11 days after I took my blanket in. Yes, they say it "might take 5-7 business days" but it was literally FOUR LETTERS. Ridiculous! I'd expect this long of a wait on a larger project or something more difficult than a Times new romans four letter word .... I also had to contact them TWICE before I ever got a response from someone for an update. In a world where there are many options for embroidery and other places can do it cheaper and quicker, this company needs to step it up. 3 stars for turn around time, communication, and friendliness. Can't say anything about quality because it was four letters in black thread - Not hard.

I found this business by searching on Yelp as I was in search of a place to get some embroidery…read moredone. I called to do research at first for about three places and ultimately I chose this one. I found that this was convenient to where I lived only about 10 minutes away and the owner is very nice. It's a little storefront in a warehouse area. He has several examples of different types of shirts, hats, towels, jackets, and other things that can be embroidered. This is nice because you can tell like what other things you might want to purchase to get embroidered if you are not bringing things in to the store just for the embroidery. There is like a set up fee to get the embroidery done, but after that, I found the charge per shirt to be comparable to all the other places that I called. It took about 10 days and then the items were ready. I left an example of the embroidery that I needed and to my amazement, they did an excellent job far better than what my example was that I left. I would definitely recommend this business if you are in search of any embroidery. They did an excellent job and were very communicative. I certainly will be back!

i took about 15 pieces the first time i went with alterations. these were mostly items to be hemmed. i wanted to see how they did before i took the more expensive items i needed to be altered. each and every one i took was perfect. they were each treated as if they were expensive! i did not hesitate to then take my nicer ski jackets to be shortened, including the zipper to be removed and then replaced. i had two jackets and one vest. each of these are just as i expected. i would not hesitate to have anything thing i needed to be altered done by this lovely shop. trinx was the woman in charge and she sure knew what needed to be done and how to make it happen. i included some pants to be hemmed and the waist to be altered in another pair. they can do it all! even though i drove in from bowie, tx, i will not hesitate to do it again if and when the need arises. btw their prices are extremely reasonable. my total bill was less than what i could purchase one ski jacket for. thank you , trinx! i hope i got your name right. read more

**I posted this review to Google reviews as well** I took my wedding dress to Crystal's, and I couldn't be happier! I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately helped by Crystal with thoughtful insights on how best to alter my gown. She is a master of her craft and was doing real time adjustments so I could see what the final product would look like. She answered all of my questions and made sure I was happy with everything. I never felt rushed, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Not to mention, she has such reasonable prices! The turnaround time was great and everything turned out better than I could have imagined. She made some changes I would have never considered, and it looks beautiful. My wedding is in October and I will go back to Crystal for my "final fitting" in a couple of months since she did such a wonderful job. Highly recommend! read more

After my last experience where I had two suits altered and re-altered three times each at the Nordstrom store in North Park, logistically, I wanted to find a local tailor. Having said this, I decided on Crystal's Cleaners and Alterations because of its great reviews. From the moment I walked-in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly face. Trinh provided great service and pinned up the suit with accuracy. After my last alterations nightmare, I was expecting to come in and need to request re-work. However, to my surprise, the fit was perfect. So much so, that I chose to leave there with the suit on. To conclude, I would recommend Crystal's and plan on returning in the future. read more

I was in Arlington on business and dropped my clothes for the first time with Crystal's Cleaners on Monday and Friday while driving home to Houston I remembered I left my dry cleaning. I called the cleaners and explained what I did and ask if they could mail it to me. They not only said YES they also checked pricing with 2 different carriers and went with the cheapest carrier and only charged us the cost of actual shipping. They went ABOVE & BEYOND for me. I love this place!!! Trinh is the most professional and kind business owner I've ever come across. I moved here 2 1/2 years ago. I first came to Crystal's for all my flight attendant uniform alterations. After i was so pleased with Trinh's work, I shop and bring things in because I know she could give me the PERFECT FIT. Such a good job!!! I ordered a cosplay from Amazon that was a little too tight on the bust area and wouldn't zip. I brought this to her, and she fixed it so well I couldn't tell anything was done to it. I thought I had been scammed until I zipped it with no problems. There's been so much gentrification that places listed here on Yelp are completely gone when I track them down. A number of them are closed permanently or simply a new apartment complex now. Thankfully I found this one. Nice tailor shop - very bright and clean. I wanted my sleeves taken up a 1/2" which isn't much but would make a big difference for me. The guy said that wasn't much and did I want to try it on - No, I did not. I hate tailors thinking they know fashion or know what's best. I know my size. I know my sleeves. 1/2 inch, thank you! I arrive later around 3ish, and she tells me the jeans still aren't ready that I should wait about 30 mins. I was a little annoyed but I decided to wait. My jeans are finally ready and I decide to try them on before I leave just in case it needs a little bit more alterations. One out of the two pair of jeans I felt I wanted to send them in at the waist a little bit more. I bring that to her attention and she immediately starts to raise her voice and tell me no that this is the way that I wanted it. I was kind of shocked because I'm at an alterations place isn't the point of coming here is to get alterations. I explained this to her and her response was you're gonna have to pay extra. Why am I paying extra when I already paid for this service and it wasn't right. Why can't you just make the alterations? I wouldn't have mind paying more, but it's the way that she said it was kind of rude. I had already waited 30 minutes, I had to come back again because my clothes weren't ready. She didn't have no concessions for me. I already thought to myself that I probably wouldn't be back just for the fact that I had to come back twice, but I for sure will not be back. This is just my experience from the customers that have came in, they seem to love her.
