I watched so many videos read so many articles and asked so many people in discord servers and nothing seemed to work for me, out of desperation I looked up knitting stores near me and this was the closest one. I went there with the sole intention of just asking how she does her knit stitches and purls and after helping out the customer she was with, sat down with me, showed me in detail and slowly walked me through it for free, AND on top of doing all that out of the kindness of her own heart she gave me a bunch of sewing needles,circular needles, yarn, and crochet hooks that were donated to her store. I will never forget the kindness I was shown here and I will be back for all my yarn, knitting, and crochet needs. This store has a nice selection of high end and low end yarns to match the budget you are looking for, they have hand dyed acrylic yarn, animal and plant yarn, all of varying lengths and the colors are amazing!

They didn't have the quantity I needed but they were so sweet and told me what website to get it from. (It was Cascade yarn which is easy to find online thankfully.) She's got fabric and other crafts covered on the right hand side of the shop but I'm afraid to venture over to that side because picking up another hobby might collapse my house; it's already full of yarn. The prices are perfectly on par with everyone else, and I totally recommend that you swing by if you're in the neighborhood and want to knit or crochet with new friends you haven't met yet. Seriously, I wanted to match several yarns I'd seen on Ravelry, but the manufacturer had discontinued those colorways. Quixotic Fibers had them. Twice, that happened. Luck, or a portal? Hard to know. And so nice, I stopped by several times at DFW, each time their staff was pleasant and helpful, even when I skidded in 5 minutes before closing one evening and said, "I need a 4 color gradient for a class tomorrow morning." Not a problem. And, I've gotten huge compliments on the resulting cowl. Seriously, A+++++, will buy from again.

They had a LOT of bolts, strewn everywhere...but a lot of them were just horrible fabrics. I came in looking for various prints and a few basic staples. The staples were there and reasonably priced...but the prints were all pretty awful. I found a much better spandex/lycra selection at Golden D'or down the street. There wasn't any wait and the guy who cut my fabrics was friendly. The bolts were huge and I guess you're supposed to carry them yourself to the table...which would be a challenging task for a lot of people. The place was kind of a total mess and finding what you need is going to take time. I suppose it really comes down to WHAT you need. This place may be perfect depending on what you're looking for. I felt like if I were making a prom dress, there were tons of options. If you're making kids stretch clothes or swimsuits, you might not find what you need.

She doesn't have malabrigo, because she understands the value of her shop space; she's using it to curate the finest selection of fibers and yarn bases I have ever seen and cutting out the yarns you can find everywhere. She's also has the largest selection of BIPOC owned and dyed yarns I have ever seen, if you're looking to support that! Meredith was super nice and greeted me when I entered but didn't hover over me and let me look around. If you actually look at all of the yarns she's got, be prepared to spend at least an hour in the shop. I took tons of pictures so that you can see what I saw-- a very finely curated selection of superwash and non-superwash yarns, hand dyed and local yarns, as well as some of the finest that Europe has to offer. She even has CaMaRose Snefnug, which I had never seen in a shop before. It's all priced competitively and the whole shop is decorated beautifully in a rainbow of colors. They also carry Re:designed project bags, which I haven't ever seen sold anywhere in person before. I also bought some Manos Del Uruguay Fino. They have a nice selection of some of my favorite fancy fibers. The prices were on par with any other high end yarn store I've been to in my life.
