I visited Kendra today after one of the stones from a pair of earrings I bought with my birthday discount had fallen out. I've had many pieces of jewelry from KS and never had any issue. I was a little worried, like other stores, I would get the run around and be out of luck. However, as soon as I walked in, Brittany H stopped what she was doing, setting up a display, while she easily could have left another employee to help me. She was so sweet and quick to help me order a pair to replace the earrings I came in about. She was super helpful as I was looking at other items and very efficient in getting me checked out and getting my confirmation number for the earrings that needed to be ordered since they were no longer in store. They have so many cute, trendy, overpriced jewelry! I think it's really cool that you can pretty much customize anything you want, with any colors and stones you like. I give it a 2 because I ended up walking out but that's after being bumped and pushed by other customers and then made to stand at the register for 10 minutes- 15 minutes after telling me an item that was on clearance wasn't letting them sell it time me. I'm not a jewelry person at all, but I had a really positive recent experience at Kendra Scott. This is a brand new location in University Park Village, which is a perfect place for a boutique jewelry store like this. It's a pretty tiny shop, but it's very spacious, bright, and airy inside. Lots of natural light, mirrors, and reflective surfaces, and all of the walls, shelves, drawers, and display cases are stark white. There are a few plush white chairs if you need to sit for a minute, and overall the atmosphere is very chic. It feels so contemporary and sparkling clean and elegant that I thought, "I probably can't afford anything in here." However, the best part of Kendra Scott Jewelry is that you'll find unique, high quality, and designer pieces at truly affordable prices. I popped into this new location for an event that benefitted our local a Wish With Wings organization, and after a little bit of research, I found out that Kendra Scott partners with all sorts of non-profits around the nation. This company seems to hold philanthropy as a top priority, and I can definitely get behind that. Each specific stores' facebook page is filled with upcoming events and promotions that benefit different NPOs. It's nice to see. As I mentioned in the beginning, I'm really not much of a jewelry person. I don't wear rings, bracelets, or necklaces, but I do wear earrings from time to time. I thought that I'd browse for a few minutes and leave with a pair of studs, but I actually had a lot of fun trying on different pieces. I even made a wish list (which you can keep track of on the Kendra Scott website). There were a few necklaces I adored that were long, elegant, and understated. While Kendra Scott sells a ton of turquoise pieces and lots of vibrant, loud, and chunky jewelry in neon colors, she's also created several delicate designs; items that are simple, dainty, and available in deep jewel tones, light pastels, earthy colors, and beautiful sparkling metallics. Come to think of it, I'd say the majority of the jewelry I saw was available in a wide range of colors from soft to highlighter-bright, whether the piece itself was a big and bold necklace or a delicate stone on a tiny chain. The staff here was friendly and helpful, but they didn't follow me around asking me ten thousand questions. Yay! They had plenty of suggestions and were super complimentary, giving me ideas when I approached them with my interests. They were all helpful and lovely without a hint of overbearing-ness. I ended up buying a pair of earrings that I love (sparkly, asymmetrical, stone studs), and a cuff bracelet that just felt very "me." It's gold with a black, half moon-shaped rock on either end of the cuff. I think it's very witchy, and to me that's a great thing. Pretty and exquisite and mysterious. I highly recommend this beautiful boutique jewelry store, no matter your style. My favorite jewelry store :) I love the Kendra Scott jewelry line - the pieces are unique and colorful and bold. They're also affordable for designer pieces. And it doesn't hurt that Kendra is a Texas girl! :) I have several pieces and they're all really good quality. The gold pieces are plated in real gold and the silver pieces are plated in rhodium so you never have to worry about the jewelry marking up your skin like you do in cheaper fake metal pieces. Also, many of the colored stones in the pieces are real stones and some are not. This is a great location with a friendly staff. The place is always busy but they're always well-staffed so help is always available if you need it. The interior of the store is also really beautiful and clean. They allow you to try on the pieces as you please and will grab you a new piece from the back if you decide to buy anything so you're not buying something that has been tried on by countless people. You can also create your own pieces in the back at the color bar!! Pro tip: you get 50% off on your birthday of one item!!! Also, Wednesday night is ladies night from 5pm to close. I went in for the first time yesterday and I am underwhelmed. My birthday was a couple days ago and I figured this would be a great way to check out the jewelry. I've loved when people have worn it and looks so pretty. So I was excited. The store was somewhat busy. But I saw people getting helped. I was never asked if I needed any help , and I needed it. I felt like an inconvenience in a store where I felt like I didn't belong. I'm giving three stars because the jewelry is nice and the cashier was nice. However , I don't think I'll be back to this location. I've not felt so out of place since middle school. I'm just your regular middle class 32 year old woman. I wasn't wearing any makeup but I was in business casual clothes as I just came from work. So I didn't look unkept or anything, but my hair wasn't curled in the fashionable way and I am very average. This store made me feel horrible about myself. I saw pretty women getting helped and I couldn't get any help at all. Even when I said excuse me to an associate she chose to help another person who asked immediately after me for assistance. I ended up getting my necklace off the display , not knowing they get you a new one in the back. So i got in line to check out and the cashier proceeded to tell me she would get me a new one. She was kind and there were no qualms on getting my necklace. So unless you look like a rich beautiful woman , don't expect to be helped. Don't skip your makeup routine that day and make sure to curl your hair into the trendy beach wave trend. I truly believe in being individual and unique , which I thought this brand stood for. I love Kendra Scott, but the past two times I've been to this location have been horrible. The last time I was doing a curbside pickup. When I called the store it took 15 minutes before anyone picked up the phone and another 20 minutes for them to bring me out my order. I get that it gets busy, but I've worked for a store that does bopis and you shouldn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for your stuff to be brought out. When I went today it took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me, which in a store where they only have samples out, is an issue. I would hear employees ask people next to me if they needed any help and they would just skip right over me every time. You shouldn't have to chase down an employee for help while everyone else is constantly getting asked if they need help. read more

I was able to pick out a great pair of earrings in a style I liked and the exact color I liked and then because it's my birth month, the pair was half off! My wife absolutely love Kendra Scott jewelery. Obviously during her birthday month we went in so she could pick out a new piece for her collection. We went early on a Sunday morning and they were already packed. She immediately picked out the piece she wanted and then everything went downhill. Trying to decipher who worked at the store vs customers was painful. When we found someone to help she blew us off and went to the next customer. When we asked the greeter for help she told us she couldn't move from the door but the next customer she was suddenly able to be wherever. My wife had her eye on a beautiful necklace but because we could never get help we had to walk out empty handed. Disappointed in the service or lack there of. There's lot of stone pendants. Big statement necklaces, earrings and some awesome rings. I love rose gold and they had several pieces I liked. There's also small, dainty things. It's a great mix. I'm a huge Kendra Scott fan and own tons of her pieces. However, I tend to shop online and don't visit the store much. I recently had a birthday and went in to get my one item for 50% off. I also had a pair of shell earrings I wanted to exchange. The backs had become loose and when one fell out and hit the floor it had chipped. When I told the sales person what had happened, she informed me that the store policy was that I could purchase a new pair for half-price. I had heard about their fantastic customer service so I was quite distressed to hear that I couldn't just exchange my damaged earring. When I explained that I felt the damage had occurred due to a faulty earring back I was told "That's why we sell spare earring backs." I explained that as a math teacher, I was able to discern that was really paying full price for the one earring I was replacing. I just kept getting the same mantra as a response "policy is you may purchase a new PAIR for half price." I decided that I would try and contact Kendra Scott customer service and describe how I was treated in the store and deal with it that way. I asked a different salesperson (who was helping my sister) the names of the two people who had helped me (one claimed to be the manager) and she told me their names and that corporate really did care about the customer's opinions so that I should definitely contact them. Suddenly, the "manager" came back out with a new pair and said that the other salesgirl was in the back quite upset but that they had decided to replace my earrings free of charge. Nice - I was happy to have my earrings replaced, however, I felt uncomfortable about the whole thing as though I had "gotten away with something" rather than had a satisfactory customer service experience. And then I felt I needed to apologize to the upset sales person. When I got home and told my husband about what had happened. He said that when he visited the same store to purchase a gift for me earlier in the month, the sales people were all extremely unhelpful. He found that amazing since he was willing to spend between $100 and $300 to purchase something he thought I would like. He felt that if someone had directed him to new pieces or even offered an opinion that would have sufficed. The sales person pointed around the store and said "let me know when you find something you want". He then waited in line to pay for 10 minutes - he was the only one in line but the person currently paying had issues - while he observed 3 other sales people just walking around the store not really doing anything. Finally one of them (the original one who "helped" him) came over and offered to ring him up on the second register. His comment was "I never want to go back there." After my recent visit, I felt pretty much the same way. I do have to say that the person who actually rang up my purchase was the exact opposite. WORST EXPERIENCE of my life!! I was in the store trying on different necklaces earrings because I didn't know which ones to choose. The ladies working in the story kept saying "can I help you?" "can I put this back for you?" "Can I put this at the front for you?" "I'll hold on to that for you" constantly. I just KNOW that they thought I was going to steel something because it was CONSTANT. They also constantly had their eyes on me. I felt so overwhelmed that I had to drop what I was doing and leave the store to cool down because of their constant harassment and eyes on me. When I went to the store to report it, they re rang me and over charged for 1 pair of ear rings then applied the discount. I had to bring that to their attention to get it corrected. Very disappointed. I was gifted a really nice item and the individual was a first time customer. Well the disappointment is that the item did not fit me. And being how it's an item that they do not return or exchange, talk about a disappointment and embarrassment from my friend when she spent $100. On her receipt it does state that they did not offer any kind of refund whatsoever, and on certain items they don't even exchange. For such a nice store and nice items that they sell to the public, I really think they need to change their return policy for certain situations. So I just want everyone to be aware that they do NO REFUNDS at all! And only a few of their items they will even exchange. The atmosphere of this store is quite stuffy and the sales associates give the impression they're not interested in customer service. Each time I've gone, at least one of the items that I went for as out of stock so that's a major disappointment. I also recently received a gift card for my birthday and used towards the purchase of an item that was of course, out of stock. The sales person from the store called me to say the one of the cards I used was invalid!! It was a gift to me and the card was taken from me by the store. I have no idea which card wouldn't work.
