So when this new shiny store opened I decided to drive an extra 15 minutes to appease my shopping appetite. The girls at this location are much more helpful than the one that will remain nameless (South Cooper and I-20) and the store some how stays fairly organized and clutter free. But as of May 2026, the bare minimum quality of service has drastically declined. Upon walking in, shoes were all over the floor, forming mountains of disorganized dump. Size stickers (like a size 9) on the wrong shoes (size 11). As I browsed through different aisles, clothes were misplaced everywhere, on floors, dangling on hangers and different sections. These are the results of a very understaffed team. But the worst part has yet to come- while I was able to find 2 items worthy of checkout, my future visits will depend entirely on how long the line gets per cashiers. I waited nearly 30 minutes in line after one of the two cashiers had to step out. Then the one cashier was having some issues with the register, so for a few minutes nothing was moving. I know their current team is doing their best, but Ross' upper management needs to realize it's unacceptable that people waited this long to the point the line reached the beauty section! When I needed help finding the perfect fit, both Ms. Bailey and Mr. Mike went above and beyond--taking the time to help me choose the best shoes for my feet at an incredible price of $39.99 each. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine eagerness to help made the entire experience outstanding. However, I can review this from the viewpoint of a relatively stylish guy only shopping the mens section. First, the shoes. It always makes me laugh to look at the shoes and see "80% off" and the shoes are still $70. However, you can certainly find shoes worth paying that much for, and still leaving feeling like you got a great deal. The mens section, proper, does a great job of keeping the sizes together. Where the womens section has the organization of a Ross, the mens is more like Macy's or JCP. Likely due to simply carrying less product. In addition to marking sizes, they group brands together. They have the same great brands that they have in the regular Nordstrom stores, but at greater savings. I really like Penguin, Calvin Klein and a few others. They have all of the brands I like. I wear a shirt size on the smaller side that is usually difficult to locate. They always have my size, and offer many types of fits, including slim and athletic. I really appreciate that. The ties and accessories are hard to beat in quality and price. They have a casual clothing shopping side too, which includes brands like True Religion and Lucky Brand. However, with jeans I have noticed that they are odd sizes like 33x29 and 38x31. Still, at a drastically reduced price. I would suggest simply getting there and leisurely browsing, allowing time.
