I recently brought in a soft suede lambskin shirt for repair. There was a small hole that I was hoping could be fixed as invisibly as possible. Before the repair, the hole naturally sat closed and was only visible if I pushed my finger underneath to show it in photos. Unfortunately, the finished patchwork did not meet my expectations. The repair was not blended well, and the patched area is clearly visible on the outside. On the inside of the shirt, there is excess glue around the patch, which is disappointing--especially given how thin and delicate the lambskin is. To be fair, the stitching repair along the seams near the collar turned out very nicely, and I do appreciate that work. However, overall I'm disappointed with the quality of the patch repair. I had hoped for a much more seamless result, particularly since the original hole lay flat and discreet on its own. Now the repaired area is permanently noticeable, and because the leather is so thin, it's not something that can easily be removed and redone. The repair cost $30. While I understand pricing can vary, I would have expected a more refined and blended finish for this type of delicate garment. I was also disappointed to learn that they do not offer leather cleaning services, which would have been helpful when caring for a delicate suede piece like this. read more

I was looking for a new dry cleaner closer to my house. I had previously been using Bond cleaners and they were so outstanding that I hated to change but I no longer work near their location. This U R Taylor did a great job. My shirts looked as good as ever and the price was reasonable and they were done on time. I'm not sure what more you want from a dry cleaner. I realized that one of my sweater sleeves was coming undone, so it really just needed to be tacked together to keep it from totally unraveling. It was a Saturday evening and only 30 minutes until closing. I dashed over there and mentioned to them that I needed to get this sewn right at the moment for my trip. They were very accommodating and quickly fixed my sleeve. I was good to go. This business takes just cash I believe and I think you might have to pre-pay. I was there so maybe that's why I went ahead and paid, but I'm not certain of that policy. I do plan to take some other things that I really need to have altered over there. It's close to my home and they were very nice people. The place seemed really clean and I noticed they had great reviews. I am so glad that I found this place because I have lots of items just sitting in a box by the door for me to try to figure out where to take them. I shall be back. It's very close to the UPS store so parking may be hard to do so take the first spot you see in that shopping center section. read more

Best Tailor ever!! Master tailor for 45 years! It definitely shows even in the way that my measurements were taken. Who knew?! I always hemmed myself or paid so called "professional tailors", through the years to hem my dresses. No one ever measured like she does here. It's a different measurement all along. Wow! My dresses are so comfortable and when I sit down they don't ride up! I love the friendly as long as it took customer service. I had 6 dresses to measure and she measured each one precisely. Ok I'm a bit bias on this one, I've been going here for about a year now and just now decided to post a review. They are so cheap for such good work, seems like it's a husband and wife and they know me as a regular now. I just walk in and go straight to try the clothes that I need tailored on. They already know how I like my pants and dry cleaning. You can tell there is a bit of a language barrier but I've never had any issues. I absolutely love little places like this! The only downside is they only accept cash or check, but they will wait for you to go grab it if you need to. They are always very friendly and courteous. Their work is top-notch. I always bring my clothes here to get tailored. What I love about them is how efficiently they are able to identify the fit I want and determine the best way to achieve it. For example, when I wanted to crop a pair of trousers to ankle length, I just had to show them a picture of the style I want and they gave me exactly what I wanted. They are very skilled and have a good sense of style / fabric. When I wanted to heavily taper a pair of raw denim jeans, they told me that although they could do it, since they were 100% cotton it would be almost impossible to put them on, and they suggested a different cut that was still flattering. They only accept cash, but once they give you your total they will keep your stuff for you as you go to an ATM. read more

Requested for the zipper replaced on a jumpsuit I purchased that was broken, which I got a really good discount on. But, when I brought it in, she just put a stopper on the zipper and charged me the regular price of a new zipper. ?!?!? That's misleading. And they accept cash only!!! My daughter brought her prom dress in to have fitted and altered and they front of the dress was crooked and when we returned to have corrected stated that they did not touch that part of the dress when she specifically asked for that to be shortened and hem line was off. Did the same to a friend's dress and did not want to fix. Prom is a once in a life time experience and they ruined her dress for this mile stone. Do not use this business. I will be sharing my review with everyone. Need to find out who there insurance company is so I can file a claim. read more
