I would select a zero if that option were available! The staff are not customer oriented and grumble about doing their job. They attempt to talk you out of receiving basic services ie: crease and cuff pants. The manager states it too much work and suggested I take my pant to an alteration shop and get them cut down. The pants aren't made to be worn any other way than creased and cuffed. I don't argue with the outrageous price I'm expected to pay so not sure why the work they signed up to do doesn't include customer service and customer satisfaction. I shouldn't be made to feel like they are doing me a favor just because they showed up and punched a time clock. FYI...customers are doing them a favor by bringing business in order for them to keep punching a time clock! Had a shirt damaged and they said it was us that did it. Said it got bleach on it. We have only biodegradable cleaners in our home no bleach. Due to my cancer and my wife's Lupus. I have used this cleaners several times. I took a brand New Jersey that I wore 1 time and they destroyed it. I took the receipt to show it was brand new and manager tells me they do several Jersey it's the material. Of course blame it on the designer $150 Jersey destroyed. For some reason, one of the hardest things for me when I moved a couple of years ago was finding a new dry cleaner. I previously used one run by an old Turkish man and his wife in North Arlington, and I really just felt so comfortable with them. Two and a half years later, though, and I happily bring my laundry to Comet on Green Oaks. The staff is friendly, the service is same-day (if you get your clothes in first-thing), and the price is right! And feel free to bring your dog along. They keep a bowl of treats on the counter for your best friend! Nice touch! read more

I would not recommend the Comet Cleaners located at 2425 SE Green Oaks Blvd, Ste 101, Arlington, TX 76018. They tagged my dress shirts wrong, gave me a shirt that did not belong to me and they lost one of my very nice dress shirts. I immediately returned the shirt that did not belong to me but they have not accepted responsibility for losing my shirt. I took them 5 dress shirts to be laundered and they only returned 4 to me. I actually paid $1.92 for each shirt laundered for them to lose one. read more

Took my dress clothes for work there and after I paid $40 a ridiculously high price I went home and they smelled like mildew what's the point of taking them to the dry cleaners when they mess them up worst than you could of this place is terrible and the girl in front was very rude Would give it zero stars but that's not an option read more

I do NOT recommend this establishment. Beware of trusting this Comet Cleaners with your clothes. My clothes entered only needing to be dry cleaned with no damage 1 shirt with a t shaped burn/sticky tape like substance near the back neck inside & out measure about 4-6 in. 1 shirt with a stain that looks like they may have accidentally spilled a chemical on it because it was NOT on my shirt when I took it in. 1 shirt a message on it says, tear near right button hole wrist cuff. There was no tear on the shirt or near the button hole. My clothes went in fine came out damaged. If you send your clothes to this place I STRONGLY suggest you take pictures of your garments before you release your garments to them and check them right there in their presence before you step foot out the door. Otherwise, they will blame you for their poor work. I hope this helps and saves you anguish and having to buy new clothes or taking your garments elsewhere to try and fix their incompetence. read more

I would NOT recommend this location! Along with the previous poor review, my item was damaged and Jamie Nguyen refused to take responsibility for the damage. She also failed to acknowledge, apologize and provide any resolution whatsoever! Rather than listening to my complaint, she continuously spoke over me. When I asked to speak with the owner she advised he was out of town. However, when I called the corporate office I was told he just stepped out for lunch. Jamie was also suppose to give me a call, but of course I had to take time out of my day and go to this establishment myself. Needless to say, their is absolutely no integrity and poor customer service! Oh, my dress is still damaged withno resolution. Save your time, money and energy. Go somewhere else! read more

Horrendous customer service from the supervisor, Jamie. I brought a dress in for a routine cleaning and it was returned to me with dried circular spots/stains all over it that were not previously there. There was one preexisting stain on the bottom of the dress that they tried to get out, which was lighter than the rest of the dress, and I actually take no issue with that. The clerk rightfully offered a second cleaning, but Jamie called me with a condescending and unprofessional attitude refusing to take responsibility for the state in which the dress was returned in and lack of quality control check. The spots were clear as day, but the dress was not tagged as having a preexisting stain that they could not get out nor was it even mentioned to me. If they were going to blame me, they should have at least made a note that the stains were there before, but it wasn't done because it is not true... rather, I had to examine the dress in the lobby before leaving myself. Jamie even brought up that I have asked for something to be re-cleaned by them in the past, because AGAIN, they failed to do a quality control check...as if that actually strengthened her point. Comet cleaners bought out the previous dry cleaners who I never once had an issue with...what a shame. The lady who actually does the cleaning could not have been nicer, and the total opposite of Jamie. While I appreciate her understanding and offer to re-clean, I am 100% done with this place. I took my dress to another dry cleaner nearby and they immediately said the spots on the dress were likely a chemical used at Comet. Be sure to read the reviews for both addresses for the comet cleaners on Green Oaks ...they moved down the block but are clearly still full of it, with the same bad management. I would definitely NOT recommend this dry cleaner off Green Oak. I brought in a nice suit jacket to be cleaned due to a small stain on the front. It came back with the a button missing and slightly discolored(it was darker when it came back). The jacket now no longer matches the pants. The clerk noticed the difference too and offered to re-dry clean it to see if the would make a difference. When I came back the following day it was the exact same. It still had a stain on it that was not removed, the button was not fixed and it still somehow was a different color than it was when it went into the place. I asked to speak to the manager Jaime but she would not come from the back to speak to me though she was confirmed to be there and speaking to the clerk about it. The clerk then told me the Owner would call me to see what they could do. It's been over a month and still no word. I'm still shocked as to what took place. Such a Terrible establishment and horrible horrible customer service. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE THEY WILL RUIN IT! read more

I took my daughter jacket in to be dry clean per the care instructions. I made sure I ask if it can be clean there and was told that they can clean it. The young lady that took it was even made aware that the sleeves was not real leather. Long story short I received a call informing me that the jacket was damaged. I was also informed by the manager that I can a refund for the cleaning, but the owner will not be replacing the jacket. This jacket was a gift for my 11 year old daughter last year for Christmas. Lesson learned, just because a store has won 3 awards from the Star-Telegram doesn't mean it's good. read more

i have been going to this dry cleaner for 15yrs. i was hospitalized for 9 months and was unable to get my garments out, they did not sell them the owner said he knew something had to be wrong because i had not been in in 9 months, the pricing is always good for me and the service is excellent, they even help me take my clothes to my vehicle since i lost function in one arm. i pass up 2 drycleaners just to go to this one because the service is great. read more
