I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the store, but the store manager, JP, and the owner have refused to adequately address my concerns or provide reasonable compensation for my property. What is particularly concerning is the manner in which this situation has been handled. Rather than taking responsibility for the loss of my belongings and working with me toward a reasonable resolution, both the store manager and owner have treated me disrespectfully and have failed to provide an appropriate apology or meaningful resolution. I have also requested information regarding the appropriate corporate representative or corporate office so that I can escalate this matter, but the store has refused to provide that information. I find this response unacceptable, particularly given that my personal property was entrusted to the business and was not returned to me.

I picked up approximately $100 worth of dry cleaning, several shirts and pants. A couple of days later, I received a voicemail from one of their employees explaining that they had accidentally given me another customer's shirt and had given my shirt to someone else. They asked me to bring the shirt back. I didn't make a big deal out of it because mistakes happen. A few days later, I returned the shirt, expecting to get mine back. Instead, I was told the other customer had not returned my shirt yet. That was four months ago. Since then, I have stopped by multiple times asking about my shirt. Every time, the employees tell me I need to speak with the manager. The problem is the manager is never there. I have left my phone number numerous times and asked for a callback. Not once has the manager contacted me. At this point, I'm simply out a shirt because of a mistake they made, and nobody seems willing to take responsibility for it.
