We called and explained we would be in town for a Cowboys game on Sunday 10/23 and needed my wife's Cowboys top taken in... same day if possible. So far so good We are new to Texas and really despise having to find new everything. My husband found this place and they've completed alterations for a couple of suits for my husband. They did a good job, however I will say they are pretty pricey in comparions to what we are use to paying for those type of alternations. Called in for a quick suit press to see if they could accommodate. I accidentally messed up my bf's suit by steaming areas that shouldn't have been steamed. (I hope he doesn't see this review) I then proceeded to google why the suit was "puckering" after me steaming...google told me I shouldn't have done what was too late. Fortunately there was a remedy! I just had to get the suit pressed! Oh but it's already 1pm and I have to pack for Houston tonight to attend a wedding the next day..."WHAT AM I GONNA DO?!" (She freaks out and anxiety is through the roof, she paces back and forth and searches for home remedies.) Opened my handy dandy Yelp app and even though there were closer locations to me home, this location had a 5 star rating on Yelp and iykyk, 5 stars on Yelp is the real deal. So I of course went over there after I called to see if they could squeeze me in. The staff here were all so nice and sweet, and they really serviced me within 30 min. (Could have been a lot faster but I left, it really just took him a few minutes.) I'm sorry but I have to agree with the customer who said their suits were ruined. I took in two suits; one just needed he pants hemmed and he other needed both the sleeves and pants hemmed. I also took in two pair of expensive jeans to be hemmed. The craftsmanship on my suits were so poor that I don't think I can wear them again. I kid you not, the lining in the sleeves that they hemmed hangs longer than the actual sleeves now..they made no attempt to cut or adjust the lining. Also, my pants are too short and yes I tried them on with heels when they pinned them. To pay over a hundred dollars and get lackluster results is ridiculous! I definitely will not be back! read more

Timeless Tailor & Alteration completely ruined my $1700 wedding gown. They placed two very wide French seams down the front of the gown (where there were no seams originally) and sewed an obviously crooked seam across the waist in the underlay that is quite visible from the outside. I rushed it to a well-known seamstress in Mansfield in hopes she could salvage it. She was horrified with what they had done and said she could not remedy their mess without ruining the remaining lace on my dress. Now I have no dress and my wedding is two months away. If you need something expensive or sentimental altered, look elsewhere. I've attached photos so you can see the before and after. Edit: Met with the owner, DeeDee, today who was nothing but combative from the moment I went in again (at her request) to see if she could make this right. She lied to my face and told me this wasn't a final fitting, which none of her staff ever said at the fitting or at pickup. If you're a bride, I suggest looking elsewhere. The great reviews are misleading. I'm sure this one will eventually be deleted. read more

Got bridesmaids dress altered here! Linh suggested 2 different ways for alterations; one cheaper but less hems to fix, and the other pricier but altering 2 more places. The custom size I got from Azazie was still really loose around my cup area but Linh and her ladies made it taut and neat in record time. I was really hesitant to bring my dress here for alterations but after reading several good reviews, I'm glad I did. The seamstress did a fantastic job with the dress and finished in time for my photoshoot with 3 fittings to make sure everything was right. The owner (Deedee) was very nice and professional and remembered me every time I went in for a fitting. My concerns about the alterations were all addressed and they managed to alter it 2 sizes down which made it fit like a glove. Not to mention hem all 10 layers of the dress. The sole reason for this review is awareness. I originally came to timeless tailor because the yelp reviews were so strong. I brought about 5 men's suit items in to have them tailored. The workmanship done on my suits might have ruined them. The customer service here was amazing.. but I will not be bringing my suits back here. You'll notice stitching is not too great and you'll have loose threads hanging off of your clothes just waiting to unravel themselves and fall apart. After doing some research, I took two bridesmaid dresses here. They are a little expensive at $100+ a dress. But, the service from Yang and the owner DeeDee is worth coming back for. They recognized me and remembered my name on the few times that I have been in. Even made a custom (gorgeous I might add) mask to compliment one of the dresses! I was corresponding on Yelp with an employee earlier today regarding the zipper on my duffel bag. But before that I called around numerous businesses trying to find somewhere that can help with my issue. Most places said they don't fix bag zippers and another said they could but would cost $49-$59 and others said to bring in my bag to take a look at it. Well, like other places that's what the employee at Timeless Tailor said but I just had a different feeling about this place. So I got there just before closing and they took a look at it and told me how they can fix it but after talking more with the employee and her going back to her team, they were able to troubleshoot and problem solve how to fix it the easiest way!! Let me preface by saying I don't normally leave reviews on Yelp but wow Timeless Tailor really knocked it out of the park! I had a costume that I wanted a zipper installed to make getting in and out of it more convenient. I was nervous thinking they might turn me away because it'd be difficult to do but they were very attentive and helpful working out a solution for me. It ran me around $35ish and took less than a week to be finished. (They said they were pretty busy.) It's also a great location to run errands in at the same time with Target and Sally's next door.
