I would have liked my button that was reposition to not have fallen off during church service, which made the suit not able to wear the jacket closed. I tried to so velcro onto a piece of clothing I have. I broke two sewing needles and could not get it too so right. I took the items here and they were able to easily do it and it looks great and works great. Not sure about the previous complaint on price because they showed me the price up front and I paid for it before I left so when I picked it up there was no price difference. I will definitely be back here in the future for any tailoring needs I need. read more

I always like to support local small businesses so I was pleased when Texas Tailor opened. I have been there twice and both times I was charged double of what was quoted at drop off. The first time I had 2 sport jackets to be tailored. The work was not completed at the time they promised and the price was double when I picked up the jackets. I thought that maybe I had misunderstood the price since I had brought in 2 jackets. This week I took 1 sport jacket there to be tailored and I made a point to ask for the cost before I left the jacket there. I was told the work would cost $34 but when I picked up the jacket today the total changed to $64.95. I brought this discrepancy to their attention and was told they must have forgotten to quote me for all of the work to be done. If I would have known the work was going to be greater than $60 then I would not have agreed to the work. I'm not sure if they run a deceitful or careless business but I will not be back. read more
