Bill was ~$58 to stitch two holes in two pair of jeans. Said it'd be a week. A week gets here and I show up just to find out my pants aren't ready and to come back the next day. Have had so many things tailored here and used to be so good that I drove 30 minutes to have my dress altered here. I requested the sleeves to be hemmed and payed the price requested. When I finally tried the dress on at home I notified the sleeves were never hemmed and the safety pin was still in place. I called to inquire and they stated they would look for my ticket and call me back to see if it was charged for it, it's been days and no response. Poor customer service on their part and I payed for something that was never done. Won't be coming back here again and it's heart breaking read more

I will try to do Rose justice by describing how perfectly she and her team altered my wedding dress. First of all, she greeted us personally and immediately asked what was needed for the dress. I needed it taken down from a size 14 to a 10 and for the train to be removed. She had me put the dress on, stood me on a stool, and got to cutting! She was swift and she expertly cut the train and extra length off right in the store. During this time, we learned that she has been tailoring for over 30 years. She then began pinning the dress for the downsizing and told me it would be ready in a week. When I came back a week later, the dress was flawless. My dress was an A-line tulle gown, with a sweetheart neckline and corset bodice with intricately detailed lace overlay. There was no way, even if I did get it for a steal on EBay, that I was entrusting this to anyone who was less than exemplary at alterations. It looked like a brand-new dress and fit perfectly. Not recommended. Unfair business practices. I went to alterations by rose for some pants repairs. Needed a side seam sown on one pair and an elastic band replaced on another. I spoke with a woman who I believe is the owner. She looked over the pants and we agreed on $5 for the side seam and $20 for the elastic band. When I went to pick up my order, they attempted to charge me $60 plus tax. I protested, and they offered $50 plus tax, which I paid (although I regret it now). Clearly, this place will not honor their quote for services. Don't go here unless you want to be surprised. read more

I start working for Southwest as a flight attendant on Saturday. I dropped my uniforms off on Tuesday and she had them ready by Thursday morning. She took her time in making sure what exactly it was that I wanted. Their hospitality is awesome. Her and her team are absolutely PHENOMENAL. They are so helpful and sweet. I had to have my dress altered for my son's wedding, after I received a message saying it was ready I excitedly picked it up soon after. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I tried on my dress after asking to do so 1st, and discovered it was too long. The lady working there told me I had to come back and check with the owner the next day during a small time frame. I returned the next day & tried on the dress with my shoes I had intended to wear. She assured me it was not too long,although I knew it was. I should have insisted she alter it a little bit more. It was definitely too long. When I was walking with my son down the aisle I had to hold my dress with one hand for fear of tripping on it. An extremely important occasion for me that was definitely dampened by the length of my dress. I was not able to dance freely in the dress definitely disappointing. Will not use again. She was friendly, so I'm not giving one star, but results were very disappointing. read more
