I called for pricing for pressing only and was quoted $3.00 per woman's top. When i picked up my order they charged me $4.00 which was $60 over my budget. When asked for store credit, the manager would not call me. I am very disappointed in this location and will not be going back. read more

This location has great service, and does a good job cleaning your clothes. However, there are opportunities with pricing. I've noticed since Covid their prices are considerably more than other places, but I hung in there for the service. However, charging me $17 for a dress because it "looks like a coat" is ridiculous. I could see if it were made of thicker, coat-like material, or if it was even as long as a coat, but it's clearly a short cocktail dress. I advised the representative that there was a mistake, and he told me I was charged because it looks like a coat. Bahhumbug! I'm actively looking for a better option...one who does not make me feel violated with their fees. Such a shame. read more

Came here because of the reviews , stay away ! Took my brand new lakers jersey to get dry cleaned . Went to pick up the 1st time they did nothing still stained , they sent it back . Go to pick up the second time and all the stitching on a Mitchell & ness authentic Kobe Jersey $300+ is all undone !!!!!!!!!! lady takes it back says she will speak to owner and I will get a call back . Well it's been a week and have not heard anything ! If you have anything of value stay away from here ! Paid them $12 to ruin my jersey and they just cut off the stitching and not willing to pay for it ! Not to mention they stained it on the laker sign when the reason I brought it in was for a stain on the number . Manager won't even call me back ! They didn't offer a refund and my jersey is now ruined no thanks to this shit hole ! read more

I would recommend taking your clothes elsewhere. I have been coming to this comet cleaners for around a year or more with no issues, however the most recent visit I brought a new shirt I had only worn once to be dry cleaned. After picking up the shirt it became apparent there was discoloration on the chest and collar. I bring the shirt back for the manager and owner to look at, after 3 days I received a call from a woman named Jamie. She insisted that she has been in this business for many years and the only way this is possible is for the shirt to have been laundered and scrubbed dozens of times. After I tried explaining to her I had purchased this shirt within the month and this was the first time cleaning it, and I have the receipt to back up my claims, she interrupted me and stated that she isn't going to go back and forth with me and there is nothing they can do. She said that I was wrong and the shirt had to have been cleaned to much. I asked to speak with the owner and she stated he will say the same thing to me if not worse. He never called after waiting a week to hear back, I picked up the shirt. With a note stapled to it stating again "there is nothing we can do" I will not be coming back to this establishment or any comet cleaners after this unprofessional experience. They will not own up to their mistakes and make claims their paying customers are wrong. I have never had this issue with other cleaners (the few times there were problems) and the situation was always resolved respectfully. Stay away from comet cleaners in Mansfield at least as they are franchised and I believe this owner has a monopoly in this area. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I took a new shirt in to have it cleaned. The shirt had never been worn. When I went to put the shirt on, I noticed a rip in the collar at which time I took it back to the cleaners. My hope was that they would either replace the shirt or at the very least, pay to have it repaired. They did neither and instead, the manager called and attacked me, saying there was no way they could've damaged my shirt and that I needed to take it up with the manufacturer. She was extremely rude, lack professionalism, and made what was an already frustrating situation, worse. Do yourself a huge favor and steer clear of this location. read more

I'm very disappointed that a business that I've been using for the last few years has lost me as a customer. I picked up my dry cleaning 2.5 weeks ago and got home and noticed that a pair of pants had a lot of water stains and white stains. That was not there when I dropped them off. So, I went back to the cleaners and showed them the stains. The kid apologized and said he would let the manager know as well as redo them. Well two days later I went to pick them back up and they had the same stains on them. So, at this point I asked for the (manager) and they wasn't there. However, I was promised someone would call me later that day. Well two days passed and no call. So, I call them and was told they would pass my information to the manager. I wait another two days and was given the same story. At this point I had to go out of town and would follow up once I returned. And guess what... no call from the manager. So, I'm really surprised that the quote, unquote manager has not been at work or followed up with a valued customer. Today, I go there and ask for my pants (3rd time) in this business to resolve the issue. And the first thing out of the guys mouth is I will have my manager give you a call. Is this the only thing they are taught to say? Does a manager even exist? Nonetheless, I received my pants back today and the stains are gone. And the pants are 3-4 shades lighter than originally. So, how many times did these get washed I wonder?? read more

I've been using this dry cleaner since they first opened maybe about 4-5 years ago (or more). The service has always been good, not a single complaint in all these years. Recently, there is a young new employee by the name of Luke, this guy is fantastic: He always go the extra mile and you can see him working really really hard all the time and always with a big smile. Convenient, with drive-through and automation. Not always friendly. Cleaning takes a week, as they send it out. This is called a "Rush" job. Decent prices. I had my wedding dress preserved 25 years ago. I pulled it out of the box last week for a 25th anniversary photo shoot. It had not been preserved correctly and had stains. I called to ask about their service and see if they would be able to help. I took it in and they were not able to get all the stains out but their responsiveness, their care, their communication, their friendliness was all 10/10!!! I've only been here once and selected Comet Cleaners over closer cleaners based on the reviews. For a two piece suit and dress shirt, just shy of $12 which is on par with price for dry clean. I will say I'm impressed with how quick it can be done. I dropped off the articles in the morning and it was done by 6pm same day.
