It really pains me to write this as I have been coming to this salon since 2015. That being said it has turned into an absolute shit show which sucks because the artists are all very talented. Today was the last straw for me. I came in for my APPOINTMENT at 5:00 as I am writing this it is 6:02 and I'm in a chair waiting. Now this is not a one off incident. I'd actually stopped coming here for that exact reason but decided to give it another try for my birthday. Clearly that was a huge mistake. So I arrived for my appointment and sat patiently. Eventually an hour passes but I wait. Around 6:15 I'm called to a chair of a reluctant tech whose other appointment was a "no show"(we'll come back to this) as I'm walking to the chair the lady I know to be the owner tells me it is my lucky day as if I had not been waiting over an hour for my previously scheduled appointment. Eventually the no show shows up as the tech works and they argue in front of all of us about her appointment time being wrong or who wrote it etc. so now she's waiting too it's around 6:45. Then another girl gets sat next to me after 7. Come to find out, she also had 5:00 appointment with THE SAME TECH. Now let me say I know exactly set my appointment and hers. It was the owners daughter who clearly should not be given any responsibility because this is a common occurrence. I won't comment too much on the child running wild but whew child. Continuing on to my nails I specifically asked for a tech who could do designs...... that didn't happen. Now my nails did turn out well. The tech did a great job shaping them and painting neatly. I have no issue paying as I Love extravagant nails BUT I do have an issue with things being added at a charge without being told to me. In this case I asked paint on 2 of my nails to be glitter and the rest a color I chose (I was already using gel polish) for whatever reason the tech took it upon herself to use a special glitter polish that I guess costs extra (it looks exactly the same as the gel on my other nails but ok) instead of the gel polish. This place has always been a more relaxed environment. The staff seems to be very much connected and family like which is great but this is still a business and some order needs to exist (let's start with efficient appointment setting) anyway I hope it gets better but I won't be back to find out.

This was my first visit today and I can confidently say that I'll definitely be back! I was immediately welcomed by the owner and was seated after a 5 min wait. Lumie did my nails and she was AWESOME. I was shocked when she told me it was her first day there because she seemed so comfortable and personable. She informed me that she's been doing nails 3+ years and loves it, which shows in her work. She took her time, made easy conversations, and always checked in with me to see if I was satisfied or if I wanted to change anything. When checking out - be prepared to have either Venmo, PayPal, or cash app. They take debit but prefer these apps as a form of payment.

I go here every month now, ever since my first time just over a year ago. The owner sandy does my pedicure every time and always takes special care of me. She always knows what products I will like and how I like my toenails shaped and my preference on keeping some callous on my feet (as a dancer I need them to protect me from pain). She has the best products and the widest selection from any salon I've visited. I always regret deviating from her salon, but sometimes I have to! Jenny does my nails every time now and she's wonderful. Always fun conversation and phenomenal work. I can literally go a month between fills with minimal lifting. I used to get acrylic but I've changed to SNS and now my nails are long enough that I don't even have to get tips put on. I haven't broken a nail in months :) here's my most recent manicure attached.

I was referred to this salon by a very good friend. So one day I came in and coincidentally was helped by the person my friend recommended, Jenny. The previous salon that did my nails used bad materials. Jenny explained the difference in what they used vs a lot of the other salons use. I appreciated that bc I really didn't know anything about nails. Ok the last a salon gave me a fungus and I would avoid that at all costs. Note: I was prewarned that even w an appt you will wait bc they tend to overbook their appointments. So within a week of getting my first Acrylic overlay gel nails, it started to chip and peel. You know what that didn't really bother me bc I knew the nail products were good products. I was more concerned about nothing catching a fungus like I have at other salons. So I dealt w it. My next visit was 3 weeks later. I did the same type of nail. The paint and the acrylic chipped in exactly 7 days after having them done. I immediately went back this time to repair two nails. It was done at no charge due to the timing. My third visit was in another 3 weeks. This time the gel started chipping about 9-10 days after having them done. Again, I didn't really mine coming back bc I was sure this place wasn't going to damage my nails. Here's where they really pissed me off. My 4th time coming here. I made an appt w Jenny via text a week prior. I asked for a time, she suggested another. And I took it. I arrive to my appt like 10 mi nearly even thou I know... "if you want Jenny, you will wait" even if you have an appt. When I walk a guy asked me something. I said I have an appt w Jenny and I asked for the gel samples. I take a seat and wait. About 36 minutes after waiting, Jenny comes up to me and says there's a 45 min wait to do my nails. I stated I have an appt. she asked me w who.... umm with you Jenny, my appt is with you. She said she didn't make an appt w me. I show her the txt in my phone. She proceeds to tell another lady that she knew she had an appt but she took a walk in. Well that ends my time w this salon. I will not come back or refer friends. Time is money. And people have lives w plenty of responsibilities I can't wait 130 min to get my nails done and then another hour to complete the job. I'll just do my research and find another salon that uses quality products AND respects people's time.

Chipped nails after 24hrs - this was supposed yo be a gel manicure

I REALLY wanted to like this salon, but that desire left my body when my gel manicure peeled the day AFTER I got it done. It is in a very convenient location to me, open late and had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try, but I regret that decision and the money spent. I've been getting shellac (or gel as some people like to call it) for about 3 years and I have NEVER had a manicure chip in under 2 weeks... EVER! Specially not 24 hrs after getting it done, and 3 different nails! Yes, literally 24hrs, in which all I did was work (on a computer), eat and shower. Nothing out of the ordinary, not even a plate was washed. I asked for the brand I always use (CND), but was told - very adamantly - that the brand is not good and they had something better. I was curious since I have never had any complaints with CND, so I agreed to try the brand they recommended. My first warning should have been the messy application of the polish, the fact that after 2 coats it was still see-through or the burning sensation on my fingers when drying the nails, but I thought "Give them a chance". That I did and at that they failed. Never again.

*update so in terms of my nails I rarely RARELY return; however, my friend convinced me to give this place a second chance and I must admit she was right. Everyone is entitled to a bad hire and my last visit was there's. I went back and the owner profusely apologized for my first visit. The girl that I got that time is no longer there but there core staff of people is AMAZING! I got one of the best most thorough manicures I've had in Orlando, I've lived here for 10 years and I am religious with my nails, I've been everywhere from Avalon park to millennia and they really fulfilled EVERY expectation. Not to mention Mercedes really did an awesome job with my design she took my idea and added her own little touches to it and the end product is fantastic. Conceptually there's nothing they aren't willing to try and that's a nail salon I can definitely call home. Plus they have new luxury pedicure chairs so comfort is not an issue. Plus the owner is awesome super down to earth and highly relatable, I could actually just sit down and have a conversation with her I think this is my new nail salon home. I'm glad I was wrong. If I could give zero stars I really would. I went here today super excited after seeing all the yelpers posts and amazing designs. I usually stick to a basic gel manicure so I was ecstatic to play with it. I think I got the new girl in the salon. I should've known something was off when she 1. Didn't know where the gel polish was. 2. Couldn't tell between regular polish and gel. But almost an hour later I had to have the polish removed because honestly there was more on my finger than on the nail. So I opted to leave. Here's where it got really fun. A standard gel polish with what I wanted was $25. And the owner tells me $20 for what I got because I got gel clear polish. 6 or my 10 nails don't even have clear polish so I show the owner or whoever is ringing me up my nails and ask her if she thinks it's $20 worth of work and she says NO she'd be happy to paint them for me but I didn't have time. However she has to charge me what the tech says to charge me and the tech said she did $20 worth of work. This was one of the worst manicures and the worst experiences. I literally paid $20 to soak my hand in some water and get my nails filed.

Its nice there but they gave me a simple pedi and they manage to cutt me twice and still didn't do a good job. She was on the phone too doing my nails. It was my first time

It's always really disappointing when you recommend a place to a close friend & they have an awful experience. She was charged $50 for this.

I had originally posted a really great review and it saddens me to have to change it. I've gone here for a little over two years. While majority of the nail techs here are VERY talented and do beautiful work, there are several things that finally led to me taking my business elsewhere. Trust me when I say it wasn't an easy decision, I've toyed with it for months now, but finally just got fed up. The first was kind of a build up frustration of every appointment I made being asked to be pushed back to a later time or arriving and waiting for extended periods of time. Most recently, my appt was pushed back and then I got there at the newly requested time and waited an additional fifty minutes before my nails were started. Not to mention, I wasn't even acknowledged until having sat there for 35 minutes. For a while I just put up with it, but getting my nails done went from being enjoyable to stressful because my plans always got pushed back or I was forced to rush. I was intending to give one final opportunity and going to see if pushing my appt back to a later time would help resolve the issue, but I never got a response back from that tech until 4 pm today. Secondly, I raved about this place to multiple friends. So much so, that one of them brought her bridesmaids here to get service before her wedding. Instead of it being a fun and enjoyable experience, she was made to cry due to a tech being rude to her and left very disappointed in her nails. Finally, another friend went in last night to get her nails done and the owner did them. Typically this would be a good thing, unfortunately it was not. She had tips added on, but they weren't glued on properly, she mentioned it to the owner, but was just brushed off. Then the SNS was applied and filed very unevenly, her nails have dips in the middle of them. They look ridiculous, she was charged FIFTY dollars for awful nails. She paid another nail salon to remove them today, not even 24 hours later. So I am just overall really disappointed and quite frankly, embarrassed because I sent multiple friends to this salon and all but one has been disappointed, but she only gets her brows done, not her nails. I understand trying to make money and fit customers in, but when as a business owner, you are rushing through the work, ignoring your clients concerns and then not even producing quality work- it is unacceptable. Aside from that, don't make appointments if you can't keep the time, don't overbook. It wouldn't be an issue if it was 5-10 minutes, but it has almost always exceeded 15-30 minutes of waiting. People make specific appointment times for a reason. It's just become more clear that while these ladies do awesome nails, they don't respect their clients time and to most of us, time is precious. Crystal Nails has the talent, it just lacks the customer service.

I really liked this place , Sandy was really funny along with the other employee tony. Very friendly & we came there before they were going to close , they were able to attend us with pedicures & full set nail. Not fast service and very clean area. I will recommend to my friends for sure. Thanks for the Service !

Pedicures are ALWAYS on point they do a great job!!! Massage chair plus they give you a massage on ya feet & legs...I give th pedis an A+ Eyebrow waxing-Depends on the person the owner did do my eyebrows once & I loved them... After someone else did it and wasnt a very happy camper... :/ Nails-My nails last up to a month in tact but they do get ugly pretty quick....

I had a bad experience here 5 years ago. But decided to give it one more try. BIG MISTAKE!! I got there at 5:15pm right after work. Was there for a dip fill. They put my nails in foil to take dip off thats the way the other place I went to did it. But they then put my hands in water which then made the polish turn to cement. I soaked for 45 minutes before asking the owner whats going on here. Then a girl did my dip nails then filed the dip nails completely off. The owner was to busy looking at pictures of purses and shoes showing other co workers there then paying attention to her clients. After sitting in the chair for 2 and half hours the owner comes over and sees what's going on. She tried to correct it by putting 2 more layers of dip on my nails but it didn't help at all. I was there for 3 hours for a dip fill. Then you would figure she would discount the price or give some kind of compensation for my bad experience. It was suppose to be $40 she told me $30 so I paid it and come to find out she charged me the full $40!! What a bad experience!! Told me one price and charged me something totally different!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!! I didn't even want to give 1 star!!! read more

I usually don't write reviews but this place is an exception. I absolutely love this place!!! Sandy, Tammy and Tony (spell check) are all awesome. Honestly everyone in the nail shop seemed to be so down to earth and extremely welcoming and highly skilled. I just relocated to Florida and have already found my "home" nail shop. Great vibes, great people, but most importantly extremely great at what they do. They put their customers first and will even stay past stated closing times to make sure their job is done right. I'm officially a loyal customer as long as I'm in the Orlando area. read more

I'm giving this year place one more chance. I just want a nail salon that does designs for a decent price. Everyone there is pretty much learners. There are only two nail techs who know what they're doing. Jenny and I believe her name is Nikki. So I'm only letting one of these ladies touch my nails. I went here yesterday & I'm so in love with my nails. I called in for an appointment on Friday & got one for Saturday at 2pm. I asked for Nikki because she had good reviews. She was very friendly & did my nails to perfection. I left so happy with my nails I will definitely be coming back to continue doing my nails with her. read more

On my first visit, I had great service. It was a slow afternoon, and I believe it was the owner who did my nails. She was so nice. It was such a positive experience that I planned to go again. When I went this second time, however, salon techs were yelling at each other across the salon. They kept arguing about nail products and the order of customers and who would do what. It was all really unprofessional and not a relaxing environment. My nail tech was great and wasn't involved in the back-and-forth. I'm just not interested in going back now. read more

My sister in law treated me to a birthday pedicure here and it was great. We were walk-ins and had no wait time on a Saturday morning. The salon itself is standard like most nail salons so it really comes down to service and quality. The staff that works there are pleasant. We ended up getting the Pearl Pedicure that came with these little packets of calming lotions for foot and leg massages and the ladies were quick to offer us the remaining packets that weren't used so that we can use them at home. Its been 2 weeks since my pedicure at it still looks great with the exception of one toe because of course with my luck my clumsy self fell an hour after the pedicure and broke a nail and almost a toe. read more

I was a walk in for a pedicure today and had Mercy. She was amazing! I got a paraffin deluxe pedicure which was only $30 (great prices) and my feet feel amazing. Not only did she do an awesome job, but she was soooo friendly! read more

Just walked out after soaking my nails an hour; I was passed off to Tony and when the girl who passed me off finished her customers nails, Tony still kept on with his friend. He cares more about talking about Latin night with his friend and dragging out doing her nails than doing his job. If you like five inch nails, glitter, talking about eating fast food and getting drunk, come chill with Tony! If you just want your nails done, go to to California Nails. Its not 1 star because the girl who passed me off seemed decent and concerned. read more

I came in as a walkin the day before Valentine's at around 4pm. I was greeted by one of the guy nail techs SCREAMING and cussing at an older lady also a nail tech. I still thought I'd give them a second and still try to give them a chance... The screaming and cussing didn't stop. Turns out it was over a ph,one charger... I walked out and went to the nail place next to publix called Venus nails and spa. WAY cleanier, friendly, all together better place atmosphere and staff! read more

Looking for a new place on my side of town. I think I found it. Coco is the one who did my fill. She was the 1st person to ever realize my nails grow at a slight angle without me having to point it out. Knowing that it was my 1st time there she informed me of their other services without being pushy about it. She did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend & I will be back. read more

I'm always traveling and moving to new places for work. There are a few constants even when I'm getting settled in a new place. Finding the perfect nail salon is one of the first things I do when moving to a new city. I found just that when I walked into Crystal Nails. The salon is very well kept and the staff is amazing. Sandy takes such great care of me and slays my nails every time. If you're looking for a great nail salon definitely come by Crystal Nails!!! read more

This is by far the best salon I've been to. They are always so friendly and welcoming! Sandy always goes above and beyond and makes my toes look fabulous! Jenny is so talented. I had bad nails from past salons when I first started going and she had completely transformed them over the the last year. They are now healthy and stay strong in-spite of the acrylic coverings. Come after work, enjoy a glass of wine, and relax...you're in good hands here. read more

I am bitter sweet about my experience here. Everyone was very nice and down to earth. However, everything was so unprofessional. One lady fed the person doing my nails Chinese food. After she ate, she started to FaceTime a family member. I guess you really pay for what you get because I got decent quality for a cheap price. read more

These ladies are fantastic! Nani did a great job with my nails. I came in for a soak off and then new set. Nani was gentle with my nails when she took off the old acrylic, and then they gave me the a beautiful new set of coffin nails. I had my pedicure done by Sandy, my toes look fantastic and my feet feel super soft!!! read more

After bouncing around from salon to salon within the last year I finally found the perfect salon. This place is clean, staff is friendly, and there are SO many polish colors to choose from (it takes me forever to choose which color I want to pick because there are so many great ones). Binh is my nail technician and she is amazing!!!! She does my nails perfectly each time and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is sweet, funny, and overall an amazing nail technician. She really takes her time to make sure your nails come out perfect. When you come to Crystal Nails, you have to ask for her, you will not be disappointed, I promise! read more

This was by far the worst experience and service I have ever had at a nail salon. I had a manicure, while my sister was receiving a mani-pedi. It was starting off fine, but then it went downhill. My attendant was cutting my cuticles and she clipped me, making me bleed. I was fine with this, because it is something that can happen. I can acknowledge this. But then it happened four more times. Four more times. And then she was BUFFERING my pinky nail, and she made me bleed. In total, six of my fingers had bled because of her -basically an entire hand and one finger because of her carelessness. I had finished my manicure and I went to the hand drying station when I heard one of the attendants talking to another at the manicure desk about how she had found out she had a long lost sister that her mother had put up for adoption when she was younger. This would have been fine if she left it there, but then she went on with topic. She was talking loudly and laughing with the other employee about her mother, and how her mother slept around a lot, and how she had a lot of abortions, miscarriages, kids that she had up for adoption. There were cases of employees talking across the room at each other, and curse words and other inappropriate language being used in front of other clients. All in all, the entire staff was completely unprofessional. When my sister had finished her pedicure and was told to move to the manicure desk she was informed by her attendant that he had lost her nail polish. He did look for it but could not find it. He proceeded to pretend that he had found it, "realized" it wasn't it, and then put it off as another color that was close to the one already painted on her feet (it wasn't even close). He then asked her if it was alright for him to paint her nails. My sister, discouraged and disappointed on how her appointment was starting to go said yes only because she didn't want to cause any more trouble and she wanted to leave as soon as possible. Later, her attendant's boyfriend came to salon. This was also fine, IF he had stayed where he was originally sitting. He didn't. He eventually came over to his boyfriend (my sister's attendant) and pulled up a chair right next to her. My sister looked extremely uncomfortable, seeing as she didn't know know who he was, he looked like he was drugs, and he was sitting extremely close to her. Her attendant and the boyfriend started chatting away for more than fifteen minutes until my mother came to the salon. I had texted my mother telling her how badly the appointment was going for my sister and I, and how I thought we should ask for a refund. My sister and I didn't say anything to the workers about wanting a refund or how we disliked the service while we were receiving it because we were intimidated by the environment we were in, and because we know that adults tend to disregard what teenagers say. This turned out to be one of the best ideas we had that night because when my mother came and asked for a refund they even treated her, the adult and paying client horrendously. One of the attendants in the background clearly rolled her eyes when my mom was stating why she thought that the refund was needed. My mother asked for the manager and they told her that she already left, so my mom decided to come back the next morning. When she came back from the nail salon the next morning she told us that she had never been treated this way before by a supposed professional business/workplace, and that she couldn't believe they treated her in the manner that they did. They ended up only refunding my manicure because they said that my sister was "laughing, smiling, and was completely fine with her service". This was gross exaggeration. My sister was talking and smiling with her friend who was in the massage chair next to her during the pedicure portion, NOT while she was getting her manicure done. All in all, this was the worst nail salon I have ever been to. If I could give it zero stars I would, because 1 star is honestly too much for them. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

I'm confused by how many 5 star reviews there are. First, I was unhappy that my pedicure did not include her massaging my feet/legs, and my manicure did not involve her massaging my hands. But what really got me was the 3 inch cockroach I saw crawling across the floor. When we pointed it out to the nail tech she just laughed. read more

I found this place on Yelp about a year ago and now I go nowhere else! Sandy is one of the kindest and most caring individuals I have ever met. She always take extra special care of me and really puts her heart into her business. It truly is one of the cleanest nail salons I've been in. She provides the personal care that is hard to find in nail salons anymore. She checks in with me every few weeks to see if I need anything and I can say that she has become a friend to me over this past year. I highly recommend scheduling appointments as the salon is very busy on the weekends. Sandy is quick to gift me samples without my asking and she always spends extra time to make sure I'm happy with her services. I trust her so much that I let her and her staff take care of my niece and her friend on her 12th birthday as my gift. Don't believe the bad reviews, Sandy works hard to please her clients and will fix any issues clients may have within reason. read more

Love going to this place. Long overdue review but Im a regular. Relaxed atmosphere. REAL people (not programed robots) who know what they're doing.Everyone is funny and down to earth with a funny story to tell. I normally go to Ms.Nikki mainly because she was the first to do my nails my first time at the shop and I am pleased with her work, but I've seen Jenny and Tammy's work and they do an excellent job as well. My first time at the shop Nikki said she would grow my natural nails out with routine maintnence and KEEP them long and that she did. My natural nails were long and healthy! Unfortunately, due to a very tight schedule, I was unable to return for a while for a fill thus growing my nails out which looked bad and manually taking them off myself (a result on my end of not returning routinely like I was supposed to) but I went back and of course Nikki did her thing as always and started back on a healthy nail care routine for me. Salon was highly recommended by a friend. Walked in with no appointment no a natural / American style gel manicure. So often the nail shape isnt right - inconsistent - the white tips just look to bold for me - but Coco did such an amazing job for a very soft / natural look! The gal next to me was getting an incredible 3D design....masterpiece! I pass probably 20 salons to get here - but will do that every time! The staff was fun & relaxed. All of the customers seemed really happy. (Oooooh and if I wasn't heading straight to work - yes - I would have surely enjoyed a glass of complimentary wine!) It's my first time going to a nail salon in Orlando. I picked this place because of their reviews and pictures that customers have uploaded. I'm very satisfied with my nails done by Mercedes. She really took her time to save my nails. I've been biting them and they were really short. She did a full set of acrylic nails with tips. I'm love with the shape. My favorite place to go! My nails always last way longer than they should when my life gets busy and I can't make it in every 2 weeks. Get a pedicure with Sandy, you won't regret it! Everybody has such a nice personality and it's nice to be able to unwind in good company! They have a lot of colors and gel colors to choose from too. They make sure you are happy before you leave. I found this amazing salon a few weeks ago and I love it! Sandy is very talented and sweet and she works hard to build a rapport with all the customers.
