it was my first time there, and to say the least i will not be returning. i'm an indecisive person when it comes to choosing a nail color, but once i find something i like, my heart is set on it. i originally wanted the bright pink with a shimmer coat on top. the technician i saw completely bashed what i had chosen, so i asked if i could pick a different color. clearly, she was very impatient with me, and once i picked out a more subtle pink, since i'm trying out different nail colors/styles before i get engaged, i still wanted a glitter coat on top. she completely dismissed what i had chosen, and pretty much stated that she didn't like it. i felt forced to stick with the original color, so i just decided to do chrome on top. i asked for white chrome, and the technician next to her told her to try another chrome shade on me, which wasn't even remotely close to what i had asked for. it was a purple chrome rather than the white, and told her i wanted to stick with white. i'm not picky or confrontational, but i know what i like, and don't like. if the nail tech actually gets to know me, sees me a ton, then sure, i'll ask for their opinion. but if it's someone i'm just meeting, i didn't ask, and i just want you to put what i ask for, in fact, what i know i want, on my nails. if you're picky about your nails, and don't want someone else's opinion without asking for it, this nail salon is not for you. read more

I came in for a gel mani and left with both a pedi and mani. The manicurist was super nice and we had great conversation. I am pretty basic with my nails so for what I got, I'd say it was well priced. I'd like to go in and try designs the next time around. Very clean and calm atmosphere. read more

Wanted to update my review since I've been coming to Rosy Nails for nearly 10 years now. This is the only place I get my nails done exclusively, and although the prices have risen over the years, so has the quality of the service. Melissa and Crew are amazing! And the best thing I like about this place is the vibe. When you come inside you immediately become a regular. They remember who you are, what you like, and they treat you like royalty. I like that the vibe is very low-key. You can get wine, water or soda to drink, and theh always have something nice playing on the TV (usually a Cooking Channel, which immediately makes me hungry and also want to go home and cook). TL; DR Li is great! This cute nail salon is tucked away in a small shopping center on Howell Branch. I came here the first time as a walk-in and they took me right away. You can also make an appt online using the link in their yelp profile which is what I've been doing since. I normally get a fill and pedicure with gel polish as well as an eyebrow wax. I don't have the best luck with nail salons but after about 4 months, I'm still here! Li does a great job with all the services and the quality is great. I'm not necessarily a fun client in the sense that I am simple and like them short for work as well as have skinny fingers but she's great! I have to tell you it's been a while since I've been to a salon where everyone speaks English, and takes care of you, the way that you would expect for the service that you were paying for. Many people I know go here and they get tips and fancy designs. I came in for a simple pedicure. The ladies here are super sweet, they have Netflix playing for you, and there are clear barriers for when you sit and have your nails done plus wear face masks. It's 45$ for sns/dip nails with tips glued on. My nail tech (which I think might be the owner? She was in the chair closest to the door) has never rushed the job and always made sure I was happy with my nails every step of the way. My top priority when choosing nail salons is cleanliness. Rosy nails definitely checks that box. I saw the employees diligently clean out each foot tub as customers were finished getting pedicures. Next on my list of priorities is a good foot and leg massage. I always pay the extra cost and expect a relaxed and comforting experience. Unfortunately, they fell short of providing a quality massage. I was truly disappointed with the less than five minute massage I had received. Since they charge extra for the deluxe pedicure, you'd think they'd give ya at least 10-15 minutes! Sadly not. The girl spread some lotion onto my feet and legs and rubbed it around for less than five minutes. She basically called it a day after that. To be fair, I am basing my review on the finished product and will attest that my toes look nice. The salon offers a nice selection of regular and gel paints and even shows movies for customers to enjoy while they are having their mani/pedi completed. All in all, it's not a bad place. I just happen to prefer a massage to the actual pedicure. Getting my toes painted is really just a bonus in the process. Perhaps I'll give this place one more try and see if they can deliver a more solid foot massage. If not, I'll try something else. However, if a clean finished product is what you're looking for, this is a solid place. read more

Went in with my mom on a Thursday around lunch time. We were the only ones there. I hesitated a bit, thinking that a good nail salon would surely have some customers, but decided to give them a chance. I am glad I did. I got a dip manicure and a regular pedicure and my mom got a uv gel manicure and regular pedicure. They were understanding of my mom's latex allergy (they wear gloves when giving pedicures) and made sure to ask about other things they were putting on her skin, like sugar scrub and lotion. We both felt that they were careful and skilled and it showed. We never felt like they rushed thru our services, even when other customers came in. Only note I would give is that the place has a very strong "nail salon" smell. I don't think they have a very good air circulation/filtration system. I really liked my time at Rosy Nails. The ladies there did a great job with my nails and toes. I got gel x nails and they turned out really well. They had a good number of colors to choose from and Melissa really took her time shaping and painting my nails. She even did a third coat without me Javi g to ask bc the color was slightly sheer! The woman who did my pedicure did a great job on the French tips and she got my feet nice and soft haha. Overall it was a great experience.
