This was a very lovely experience! Beware, they do charge 3% for using a credit card. There is a sign right in the front, but I completely missed it. Anyhow, they are super friendly there, very accommodating and kind! I was pleasantly pleased when I was able to walk right in with a friend to get some services done. Not only were they welcoming, they were very kind to us. I will definitely be back again. It was very clean and they are sanitary. read more

I had a great experience here. The manicure and pedicure were super well done and lasted quite a while. Service is friendly and welcoming. I booked through Class Pass and it was a great deal cost-wise. read more

Excellent pedicure but not that friendly to a new customer. Constant talking in native tongue but very little to the customer. I didn't feel welcome. read more

My pedicure was good. The guy just rushed like he was was racing someone to finish it. It was so weird. Then he started my nails and I asked if they had the "sticky gel with the small singular blue light thingy" and they said yes but clearly they didn't. My nails are thin so I need a strong coat of gel to prevent them from bending or breaking. This morning while trying to tuck my sheets in I felt my nails bending. Ugh so disappointing. I guess I have to go back to CA and have them done right. They could just tell the truth about not having what I wanted rather than doing a sub par rush job. read more

Went for the first time little bit over a week ago. And already the get polish on my toe nails got stained. And got french gel polish on my nails and it has chipped on 3 nails. Not happy at all. read more

This is the absolute WORST nail salon experience I've ever had. I'm visiting from out of town and this is the first time I've actually had a chance to do something nice for myself (I have 2 kids and doing anything for my self is a very, very rare occurrence). I came in wanting ombré French and she said she didn't know how to do that. So I just settled for regular French. The French looked so bad, even after 3 times of redoing it so I just asked for plain color (gel). The polish is all over my skin and I don't even know what was dried onto one of my nails. I'm so infuriated with this experience. I also got called fat while there...so that was fun. (I'm 9 months postpartum Please, do yourself a favor and don't go there. Ever.. read more

I received a gift certificate for this place, and I was so pleasantly surprised! I called on a Saturday morning for a gel French pedicure, and they greeted me warmly & took me right away when I arrived for my appointment. I opted for the $37 spa pedicure, and it was an excellent experience: massage, scrub, hot towels. Ana did my nails, and her professionalism and attention to detail were top notch. The end cost for my service was $57, but I was incredibly pleased and will return. I loved seeing the clean packaged tools and single-use tub liners, gloves, and pumice scrubbers. Great experience & my toes look and feel great :) read more

I would put a NEGATIVE STAR, but this app doesn't allow it! The worst possible experience of customer service and services rendered. The manicure looked as if It was done in a gravel pit by blind amputees. After confronting the person in charge, I was told no refund because the person did their job. This is why you pay with a bank credit card ALWAYS. read more

I'm not really one who does typical girly things, this is especially true since I run a lot and my toe nails take a serious beating. I actually dislike having nail polish on, I start to watch the chipping process (What was I doing that made it start to chip on that side? How much can I peel off at once?) I always wonder what damage my nail is incurring from not being able to "breathe" and taking off polish is such an awkward mess. So if you're super into nail salons, then it's likely I'm that tomboy who you probably couldn't relate with in middle and high school. So... this might not be the review for you. Just saying to be fair :) So how do I review this place? Let's go with smells, cleanliness, and overall comfort. Smells - I have a super sensitive nose, like super sensitive to the point where it's annoying yet useful. The very scent of acrylic nails grosses me out, so this salon having the acrylic nail booth right as you enter SUCKED. I was really tempted to just leave because of that, but they quickly greeted me and ushered me to a pedicure chair. The scent of acrylic nail was everywhere, it sucked. The occasional scent of soap and oil was my reprieve. But ventilation is a clear issue here. Cleanliness - I really shy away from nail salons because of this. I noticed the tools weren't kept in a sanitary manner, they were just in a bucket and the tools that were used on the person beside me were quickly cleaned off and then used on the next person - It wasn't a "new bucket of tools". Also no gloves were on any of the pedicure ladies, and my imagination gets the best of me. I love my feet and the very thought of getting even athletes foot disturbs me. Getting any fungal infection from potentially improperly cleaned tools scares me (why did I decide to do this damn pedicure!). Comfort - This is small location. The pedicure chairs are starting to show some wear, such as the massage function doesn't really work and the remote is heavily worn down. Although the nail bar is cute, but not something I'd do as I don't randomly talk to strangers. The language barrier was there, I'm a 2nd language kind of gal and even I was struggling to understand the folks here, this is no fault of theirs its just something to know in case you're one of those people that can't understand people with thick accents. Overall what I saw/experienced is what I see in a lot of nail salons around Orlando (and honestly back in NYC)... they have their license, but what they do beyond that depends on the quality of the person running the salon and the clientele base they're targeting at. Price wise this appears to be what most people feel comfortable paying for mani/pedis etc. So if none of the above bothers you, then this is yet another choice to pick from along Aloma for nail care. If not, well there are spas... which I think I should stick to. read more

Tom and Mindy make a lovely team. I've been getting my nails done here for about 6 months now, and as an aspiring nail artist myself, I appreciate the time they take to show me the process as they apply acrylic nails. Tom is a master at shaping acrylic. I've always left satisfied. read more

Update: Update: I ended up with an infection on 2 of my nails. Green and cloudy. The overlay was not applied properly and water seeped in between the overlay and my nail. Even though I showed you the fill was coming off..you did the overlay instead of soaking off the build. Big no, no. This would have been a 4 star review. Very friendly staff and I got to catch up on my soaps. I paid $25 ($23 actual price) for a gel fill on my natural nails. I no longer need fake nails as my real nails are long enough for this overlay. The tech I had made my cuticles burn. I was expecting the typical tools used to push and treat cuticles and did not see them. He chatted me up during this process. Now the second time I was asked to wash my hands, I asked "with or without soap"..he said "whatever" then quickly said without. That's a star taken off. The second star was taken off because I received no oil on my cuticles. I was not offered oil or lotion. Nor did I see any available. Most likely I will not return because I work with my hands and also do reviews where my hands are the focus. I do like the results but there was no after care from all that buffing. I do believe I will continue to look for a shop that will do my nails for under $20. I didn't get a manicure...just a fill of gel on my natural nail. read more
