Brought my nieces in for a little galentines day outing a few weeks ago. I made an appointment and requested a polish change for the two young girls and a manicure for myself. We arrived at precisely the time of our appointment and were quickly directed to the back to choose our color. We seemingly were rushed into a decision, because they wanted to get us started. We had Sophie, who was super nice and kind to the girls. She did a good job working quickly knowing they'd be antsy and quick to want to finish once we got going. The woman who did my nails was nice, but definitely not detail-oriented. I was really looking forward to it, too, because I hadn't treated myself in awhile. My manicure literally took 8 minutes from start to finish. I was hoping for a little better massage and attention to my cuticles. I went here looking for a new go to since i've moved... literally worst nail experience i've ever had. Only bad experience actually . The first set the nail tech did was 1000% worse. It started with adding a tip on my big toes and both were diagonally crooked, and I asked her to shave them down more. Then, nail polish (not gel) was all over my skin and it was super clumpy with overlapping layers leaving super obvious lines (with kinda like different heights almost if that makes sense) from the multiple coats. I felt so bad and did not want to ask if she could fix them but there was no way. Anyways I asked somebody else and I was so embarrassed to and two people came and looked and immediately started fixing them. At that point I asked for a new color too because the color looked different on my nails then the bottle and the tech never asked me if i liked the color. Anyways so the original tech came and took over for the nice man fixing them, and blamed the color I chose and the fact I didn't do gel (i had a bad reaction to gel one time unfortunately which is actually common be careful fyi). then she proceeded to paint them white and though the next set was a LOT better, you can still see how uneven they are and poorly painted. I had the $50 basic mani-pedi. Walked in & was hit by the chemical smell. Was seated in a chair with a sagging backrest so uncomfortable that I requested a pillow. I could see that most of the chair backs were concave but some pillows were available. The massage function in my chair didn't work. They were replacing the seat covers, but just a cosmetic fix. Pedicure was fine but manicurist cut my cuticle to the point of bleeding and put a cotton ball on it for awhile. The OPI polish I selected was old and thick, leaving visible strokes on the nails, and the nail area above the injured cuticle was left unpainted. read more

I moved to Florida from Seattle back in 2021, and had become used to paying very high prices, well over $200 for a standard set. When I got to Orlando, I tried different places for a few months until I came across Pristine. I have not gone anywhere else since. The individualized care every stylist pours into their customers is not matched by anywhere I've visited in the area. I am admittedly a very picky customer, and am always blown away by the versatility of what stylists can provide. I usually get Gel X manicures and eyelashes installed by Ava. She has a keen eye for nail styles in all settings, and can accommodate any look I'm going for, from a subtle and short French manicure for the office, to a glamorous stiletto for vacation. When I don't have a reference photo, she chats with me to understand what I want, and delivers well beyond my expectations every time. Most recently she's done a style I can't stop getting compliments on. She suggested a very cute oval shape and started by airbrushing a blue ombré to the tips, then covered them with chrome for a reflective, mermaid-tail finish (reference photos for this post). The price was less than half of what I would've paid in Seattle, for far better quality. I am always excited to see what new colors and jewels they have when I'm feeling more adventurous, and very pleased with more simple, every day styles for work. I really love Hannah but the owner, Helen, keeps changing the prices!!!!. Last time I was there, I paid $240 for a mani/pedi (which includes tip). They charged me so much for every little thing - nail shape, gel removal, ombré French and ...this was the real kicker... $80 for the nail art ALONE (after arguing with her she took it down to $60... but my gosh). It was just a financial nightmare. Never again. Like I said I love love LOVE Hannah but the owner is getting really money hungry. I don't think they like doing nail art because it takes time so maybe they were trying to price me out because it kept getting more and more expensive every time. That's my best guess? It used to only be $95 for a matching mani pedi WITH designs on my hands AND toes. Adorable. But I THINK they want to keep client turn over high so they can charge more - I get it. But just keep your prices consistent and communicate the prices!! It was the shock that felt so rude and outlandish. If they had told me in advance then I could have easily paid that and walked away knowing I got an amazing rare mani and it was fair prices that I AGREED TO! ... instead sticker shock at the register and they argued with me saying jewels are more expensive and it's just expensive and not good for the nail tech to work on me for doing nail art because she sees less clients. OK - Then don't offer the service!... But anyways, I was the second person that day to argue about prices that were too high and not agreed upon. Love this place. Inside is beautiful so you automatically feel pampered walking in. I've been going to Thu for a couple of years now, followed her over from the other location, and can't imagine going anywhere else. But I do know that they have a ton of skilled people working so you should be in good hands with whoever you see. I'm from LA and my parents live like 10 mins from this place, so I stopped by. It looks small from the outside but once you walk inside, its huge and magical!! I mean, its gorgeous!! I've been coming here for years and they are always friendly and on time. They do a great job and care about how you feel after they are done. They have an array of colors or you can bring your own. I went back the next day to get them fixed. 24 hours later, starting to fade and turn black on the sides again. I had to go to another shop to get them fixed. So HAPPY!! A friend from work told me about Pristine so I canceled my appointment at an expensive spa/salon and made one here. I didn't get the nail tech I'd requested but the woman who did my pedicure and gel manicure was terrific! She did an excellent job on my toes and I got the deluxe pedicure which includes extra heel/callous attention and a relaxing leg massage with hot towels. I had Mia, who really took her time and made sure that I loved my nails. Come to find out she was still training, I was shocked! The place is very clean and I love the organization of their displays for all the colors. The reason for a deduction in stars is because there seems to be a lack of consistency on the quality depending on the nail tech you get. My friend had a horrible experience and felt extremely rushed. The owner actually contacted her and invited her back to get everything redone. I am so glad that my friend discovered this place on Yelp today we had both pedicures and I had an SNS manicure. It is really difficult to find places in Orlando who do the SNS manicure properly after you've experienced west coast salons. This is the one place in town that does it right. they were able to take off my old nail SNS polish without drilling down my fingernails. Other salons in town use the quick route and use the drill to file down the nails which overtime weekend my nailbed tremendously. Brian was my nail technician and he shaped my nails beautifully that they look very natural as if I had a plain manicure. Normally SNS can look very thick and artificial. I also experienced a deluxe pedicure for callus removal and really enjoyed the massage I highly recommend this place if you are picky about your nails Given the high quality of service their prices are actually very reasonable or lower than surrounding salons read more
