This was my first time at this salon. I conveniently booked online with Sarah. She was really sweet! I got taken back shortly after arriving. I do wish they had more color options for the dip powder but I was happy with the color that I got. I'm also pleased with the length and shape. The only thing is that I wish she would've offered me a cuticle treatment (I don't know if this is considered a special treatment?? But I have gotten my cuticles treated before at different salons). Sarah was also nicely receptive when I had asked for the gel top coat and to have my nails underneath cleaned of the excess dip powder.
Mia did her thing !! I was a walk in so Mia was available and understood the assignment right away. She's good at shaping and did my full set within. The salon in general was very clean. No strong smells.
I went here looking for a new go to since i've moved... literally worst nail experience i've ever had. Only bad experience actually . The first set the nail tech did was 1000% worse. It started with adding a tip on my big toes and both were diagonally crooked, and I asked her to shave them down more. Then, nail polish (not gel) was all over my skin and it was super clumpy with overlapping layers leaving super obvious lines (with kinda like different heights almost if that makes sense) from the multiple coats. I felt so bad and did not want to ask if she could fix them but there was no way. Anyways I asked somebody else and I was so embarrassed to and two people came and looked and immediately started fixing them. At that point I asked for a new color too because the color looked different on my nails then the bottle and the tech never asked me if i liked the color. Anyways so the original tech came and took over for the nice man fixing them, and blamed the color I chose and the fact I didn't do gel (i had a bad reaction to gel one time unfortunately which is actually common be careful fyi). then she proceeded to paint them white and though the next set was a LOT better, you can still see how uneven they are and poorly painted. I apologized to her but she was being so harsh with it that paint actually splattered to where my tattoo is.
Omg...possibly my best nail experience to date. Florida really has nails fidgeted out!! Did a regular pedicure and and full set!!! If you come make sure you ask for Hannah she's AMAZING!!
I tried this nail place today at the recommendation of a friend. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of care Sanny took with my pedicure and manicure. She never hassled me to get a certain treatment. She took her time... which I LOVED!! There is nothing worse to me than sloppy nails done too fast. There were a lot of people coming and going. It's a small quaint place. The atmosphere is nice. I must say I was impressed. Thank you Sanny for doing such a great job.
I moved to Florida from Seattle back in 2021, and had become used to paying very high prices, well over $200 for a standard set. When I got to Orlando, I tried different places for a few months until I came across Pristine. I have not gone anywhere else since. The individualized care every stylist pours into their customers is not matched by anywhere I've visited in the area. I am admittedly a very picky customer, and am always blown away by the versatility of what stylists can provide. I usually get Gel X manicures and eyelashes installed by Ava. She has a keen eye for nail styles in all settings, and can accommodate any look I'm going for, from a subtle and short French manicure for the office, to a glamorous stiletto for vacation. When I don't have a reference photo, she chats with me to understand what I want, and delivers well beyond my expectations every time. Most recently she's done a style I can't stop getting compliments on. She suggested a very cute oval shape and started by airbrushing a blue ombré to the tips, then covered them with chrome for a reflective, mermaid-tail finish (reference photos for this post). The price was less than half of what I would've paid in Seattle, for far better quality. I am always excited to see what new colors and jewels they have when I'm feeling more adventurous, and very pleased with more simple, every day styles for work. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for the best quality in the area, and for a personalized customer service experience.
I had the $50 basic mani-pedi. Walked in & was hit by the chemical smell. Was seated in a chair with a sagging backrest so uncomfortable that I requested a pillow. I could see that most of the chair backs were concave but some pillows were available. The massage function in my chair didn't work. They were replacing the seat covers, but just a cosmetic fix. Pedicure was fine but manicurist cut my cuticle to the point of bleeding and put a cotton ball on it for awhile. The OPI polish I selected was old and thick, leaving visible strokes on the nails, and the nail area above the injured cuticle was left unpainted.
Love this place. Inside is beautiful so you automatically feel pampered walking in. I've been going to Thu for a couple of years now, followed her over from the other location, and can't imagine going anywhere else. But I do know that they have a ton of skilled people working so you should be in good hands with whoever you see. They always open a fresh bag of tools for pedicures so you can feel confident in the cleanliness. They have also kept up the poly shields between guests and techs that were implemented during the pandemic.
I really love Hannah but the owner, Helen, keeps changing the prices!!!!. Last time I was there, I paid $240 for a mani/pedi (which includes tip). They charged me so much for every little thing - nail shape, gel removal, ombré French and ...this was the real kicker... $80 for the nail art ALONE (after arguing with her she took it down to $60... but my gosh). It was just a financial nightmare. Never again. Like I said I love love LOVE Hannah but the owner is getting really money hungry. I don't think they like doing nail art because it takes time so maybe they were trying to price me out because it kept getting more and more expensive every time. That's my best guess? It used to only be $95 for a matching mani pedi WITH designs on my hands AND toes. Adorable. But I THINK they want to keep client turn over high so they can charge more - I get it. But just keep your prices consistent and communicate the prices!! It was the shock that felt so rude and outlandish. If they had told me in advance then I could have easily paid that and walked away knowing I got an amazing rare mani and it was fair prices that I AGREED TO! ... instead sticker shock at the register and they argued with me saying jewels are more expensive and it's just expensive and not good for the nail tech to work on me for doing nail art because she sees less clients. OK - Then don't offer the service!... But anyways, I was the second person that day to argue about prices that were too high and not agreed upon. I have felt a shift in the way the shop handles money and I don't like it. I'm finding a new place but I will SO miss Hannah!
Ohhh girl!! Let me start off by saying, I AM OFFICIALLY ENGAGED!! Haha. Funny story, I found out from my drunk dad that my bf was going to ask me to marry him... so I knew I had to get my nails done!! I'm from LA and my parents live like 10 mins from this place, so I stopped by. It looks small from the outside but once you walk inside, its huge and magical!! I mean, its gorgeous!! Everyone is super friendly, and constantly smiling. All the customers looks super pleased as well. I had Dolly do my nails and she was the sweetest! I'm a really basic person and shes so thoughtful, she wouldn't let me leave the shop being so basic, KNOWING I was going to be proposed to. She took care of me. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was soooo kind. Such a genuine smile. The location is also pretty good! Right across the street from Rollins College.... WHERE I GOT PROPOSED TO!! I'm so happy I choose Pristine nails to make me feel even more special, on my day! Definitely recommended! If I were to do a girls day with my bridesmaids, I'm definitely do it here!
I only gave them 2 stars because they were super cool with getting me in. But that's it. I paid $75 for nails that began fading and discoloring the same day I got them. I went back the next day to get them fixed. 24 hours later, starting to fade and turn black on the sides again. I had to go to another shop to get them fixed. Definitely not worth the money, but I guess you're paying for the fact that the location is in Winter Park and the shop is nice? Maybe put more money into the quality of the polish? I haven't returned and went to another shop to get my fills.
So HAPPY!! A friend from work told me about Pristine so I canceled my appointment at an expensive spa/salon and made one here. I didn't get the nail tech I'd requested but the woman who did my pedicure and gel manicure was terrific! I told "Tee" how hard I was on my nails so she gave me extra fortifying top coats for my new gel manicure, yes!!! She did an excellent job on my toes and I got the deluxe pedicure which includes extra heel/callous attention and a relaxing leg massage with hot towels. The salon ambiance is quiet, relaxing and tres elegant! Chandeliers and marble floors and lovely background music playing while closed captioned HGTV streams on the big screen TV's throughout this large salon. I was worried about parking on busy Park Avenue but there is public parking just around the block at Winter Park City Hall. Clean, professional and relaxing experience for which I didn't spend a fortune-I'll be back!
I've been coming here for years and they are always friendly and on time. They do a great job and care about how you feel after they are done. They have an array of colors or you can bring your own. You cannot schedule online you have to call but that's ok. I usually request Vivienne and she is great. I drive 30 minutes to come here so what does that tell you :).

I got a Gel X manicure done 6 days ago :( my pointer finger is starting to lift and they were not placed close to my cuticle.... there is no way they will last 2 weeks. read more

I've had a hard time finding a nail salon that I want to repeatedly go back to....I'm hopeful about pristine because my first manicure went great! I had Mia, who really took her time and made sure that I loved my nails. Come to find out she was still training, I was shocked! The place is very clean and I love the organization of their displays for all the colors. The reason for a deduction in stars is because there seems to be a lack of consistency on the quality depending on the nail tech you get. My friend had a horrible experience and felt extremely rushed. The owner actually contacted her and invited her back to get everything redone. I believe that all the nail technicians should provide the same quality of service no matter what. I'll definitely go back and try it out again. read more
So I asked my girlfriend to marry me! I KNOW all girls need to get their nails done before they ever get asked THE question... so I found this salon across Rollins College. I'm so glad I did too! The staff are so welcoming. Dolly, the manager was great. She was very patient. The salon itself is mystical. Very clean. Fancy. I'm from LA and coming here definitely felt like Beverly Hills, if not better! My gf always want something super basic. Maybe all black or something matte. But this time, she wanted a French. I think that's what it's called? Lol well it looked really nice. Dolly drew some flowers on them as well, it definitely gave it a big pop. Very pretty. It's been two weeks and her nails are still in place. Looks clean and new! Will definitely be back! read more

I spent $247 .. my nails were uneven (different sizes and shapes), nothing compared to the simple design I displayed and I definitely was overcharged. I was so pissed off, I took the charge to avoid further nonsense. My pedicure was decent but some of my toenails were shaped crooked when I asked them to be square and cut down. I never do reviews, but this was just shitty. What I wanted vs. what I got! read more

I won't go back. The pedi I got was ok. The massage was nice and the price was fair but he left a lot of dead skin behind. For my nails, a lady did a full set on me. It's been 6 days and honestly she didn't Do a good job. It's just sloppy and she didn't file the acrylic down properly at my cuticles so it looks bulky and sloppy. I paid $131.00 for deluxe pedi and my nails. I wish I would've went else where. read more

FABULOUS!! I decided to get my lashes done for the first time since I'm done with strip lashes. After reading the reviews I took a chance and the 30 min drive was more than worth it. When I tell u they hooked me up BABY they hooked me up. Beautiful decor in a great location, top notch customer service and great attention to detail. It may take awhile to figure out parking but once you get there, you'll be amazed. I also got a full set of nails and bought this great Dior face mask from them. They were an A+, now if they served wine they would be an A++. read more

I love this place! I was nervous when I moved up to orlando that I wouldn't find a good nail salon but omg! This one is amazing! Not only are they really clean and making sure everyone follows the CDC guidelines, but the nail techs are so nice and it's so relaxing! The interior design for this salon is lovely as well! My nail guy is Au and he's the funniest and sweetest man. I had to post because he did such a great job on my nails and he deserves more credit! If you come here see him! read more

I luuuuuuvvvv the shop they are ALL so very nice and professional! Very busy shop, appointments are recommended, but from what I've seen walkins don't wait that long because the shop is big and they have MORE than enough people. This is an update to my previous review. I was contacted by the owner; she offered to have my nails re-done by a professional, Hannah Ng. Let me tell you: this has been the BEST ombré French I have EVER had (ombré French is my go-to, and I have had them done in major cities all over the world, so it says a lot). Hannah was sweet and understanding when she saw what a horrible manicure I had before. She took her time to show me an example before dipping my nails. She was attentive to not cut my skin (as was done last time). I am so glad I decided to give them a second chance, because Hannah will be my nail tech from now on! read more

I am so glad that my friend discovered this place on Yelp today we had both pedicures and I had an SNS manicure. It is really difficult to find places in Orlando who do the SNS manicure properly after you've experienced west coast salons. This is the one place in town that does it right. they were able to take off my old nail SNS polish without drilling down my fingernails. Other salons in town use the quick route and use the drill to file down the nails which overtime weekend my nailbed tremendously. Brian was my nail technician and he shaped my nails beautifully that they look very natural as if I had a plain manicure. Normally SNS can look very thick and artificial. I also experienced a deluxe pedicure for callus removal and really enjoyed the massage I highly recommend this place if you are picky about your nails Given the high quality of service their prices are actually very reasonable or lower than surrounding salons read more
I'm glad I found this salon on Yelp. I was able to chat with the owner (who replied promptly) through the Yelp messenger and schedule an appointment. They have plenty of nail techs, so walk-ins didn't wait very long. My husband and I got mani pedis and our toddler got her nails filed and polished. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Kudos to the nice lady who was very patient when polishing my daughters nails, it was her first time! My nail tech Bella did a great job on my nails and the massage with my deluxe pedi was amazing. My friend recommended Pristine Nails to me and I was not disappointed. Tracey did an amazing job with my dip manicure. She is quick but careful, I was in and out of the spa in less than 40 minutes- which is something I really appreciate because I'm not good at sitting still for long. I also like that she doesn't do too many layers of dip which can make your nails look chunky and fake, instead she does a few layers to keep a natural look to your nails. Their prices are great and I love the atmosphere, everyone is very friendly. I think it's safe to say I've found "my nail place" and will be back. read more

How much for SNS manicure on your own nails and gel pedicure?

Umm. I'm not totally sure I understand the question but if your talking about getting your nails done on one day and then paying for it on another...I don't think they do that.
Is the SNS the same as a Gel manicure?
Dip Powder (SNS) and Gel are not the same. Gel polish is a polish that has to be cured under a UV or LED light in order to dry. Dip Powder is a pigmented powder that requires a special glue to adhere to and harden. Dip powder is thicker than gel…
