I've been trying to find a great nail place for years and feel like I've found the perfect spot! My friend recommended Kenny at Ava nails and wow was he amazing!!! He really cared about each nail while he was working and even ideated with me about what would look best. Couldn't be happier with my bachelorette nails and so excited to come back to get my wedding nails!
I have been coming to Ava Nails Lash & Spa for a couple years now and I can honestly say, they have been nothing short of excellent!! It was my best friend who introduced this nail salon to me at a time I was looking to find a new salon to go to as regular because the previous salons I attended where just not delivering on quality. And I am forever grateful for her bringing this salon into my radar. I am a faithful customer!! The quality of their work and services has been exceptional. I only go for one service: their manicures and nail designs - which have been the reason I've recommended so many of my friends to this salon. However, they offer many other services, like waxing, pedicures, and lash extensions among other services. What's also an added bonus is they offer wine (red and white) if you'd like a glass as you wait or while you are being serviced. All you have to do is ask! However, as noted, I am faithful customer because I love that they have a team of nail technicians that can execute just about any nail design you may have in mind. The staff is friendly. The technicians are friendly and professional. And unless you have a very detailed design or a design that requires jewels, they will have you in and out of the salon in under an hour or just at an hour - which is some of the quickest services I have gotten from a nail salon. And the quality, once again, is EXCELLENT!! The price points are great - even when you get a more involved design. Overall, this salon is great. Also, I forgot to mention, booking is easy! You can either call in (like I do) or book online. Just be aware that after 7 minutes, if you have not called in to inform you'll be running late for your appointment, then your booking will be cancelled and labeled a "no-show." So, if you're running late, I recommend just calling in and they are great about accommodating you upon arrival. Again, this salon is GREAT! For as long as I live in Orlando, I will continue to go here and recommend it to anyone looking for a nail salon to go to!!
One month later and my dip with tip glitter set is still on. I've probably wrote a review for this place before, but I've been coming here for at least three years and I still have not found a better nail place. Whoever you go to will do an amazing job. Quality has gone down. I've been getting my nails done here for 4 years or so every month (closer to twice a month after starting gel x) I go home and fix my own nails most of the time. Typically not a huge deal to go home and reshape my own nails after, but I shouldn't have to. Artist need better gel-x training. Almost every time I have nails with big gaps in between my real nail and the extension. I booked with Natalie (3/13) for a reason and I was given Peter. Peter is very nice, but I did not want Peter. There's a reason I didn't book with him in the first place. Natalie was there, but I was not given a reason why they needed to change. If she was not feeling well, I'd rather just have rescheduled. Ava Nails is not worth the price. You have my information on file, you are welcome to call me.

I accidently poked my head into Ava Nails a couple of weeks ago, as I was looking for a restaurant that was next door. My immediate thought was how clean, bright and welcoming this establishment was. That, coupled with the very upbeat and welcoming smile from the receptionist. I apologized for the mistake and went to the restaurant. I decided to make an appointment with Ava Nails due to this chance encounter, and I have zero regrets. I made an appointment with Michelle this past Saturday and am thoroughly pleased with my experience. Not only did I communicate with the sweet receptionist again, but Michelle is on top of her game. She was professional, precise and fast, but not so fast where I walked out with janky nails. I got the gel x and they look like my natural nails. I received exactly what I asked for. I have already made my appointment for a repeat return.

Atmosphere: beautiful clean and upscale. You feel welcomed yet exclusive. They have wine and soft drinks complimentary. Employees: awesome, kind, helpful. I really liked everyone I spoke with. Service: I had a gel mani gel pedi. My technician was wonderful, polite, and kind. My mani/pedi was not the best I've ever had; but it was ok. The skin around both my finger and toe nails have residue of the polish, although slight, still something that could've been cleaned up. See photo for thumb (I felt weird putting a photo of my toes up here, but there is residue of the polish there as well) Overall not a terrible job but just the cleanup I typically expect was not fulfilled. I didn't notice the edges until I got home otherwise I would've asked them to fix in person. This is the reason for one less star. Price: I compare across Orlando and I feel that these prices are a bit too high for the quality of service. I typically pay less for a cleaner job. My gel mani pedi was $75 which is pretty consistent for a good salon, but not for the quality of this mani pedi. This is the reason for an additional less star.
Yes they offer wine!! Very nice people. They know what they are doing and off wonderful outcomes. I got my nails, feet and wax done here. One to two times a month I'm here getting my self care touch up
This nail salon is the greediest salon I've ever been to. I paid $136.16 total for my service which included the tip. After paying, I noticed an $8 discrepancy. When I brought it to their attention they would not refund me. The price they have advertised on their website and what you actually pay are not the same. They have a section for combination services so I booked for the gel x full set and pedicure for $90 because I saw that I would save by doing it that way. On their website they are clear that the online price is the starting price and that your price can be more due to length, shape, and design which I didn't have an issue with so I fully expected to pay more than the base price. However, the base price for that service is a lie. It didn't start at $90 it started at $98. As you can see, for my receipt I was charged $38 for my pedicure and $60 for my full set. That makes $98 not $90. What I expected from them was $90 for the combo plus $5 for the "shape" plus $5 for the "length" plus 5 for the design but nope they would not honor it. I'm assuming I spoke with the manager or the owner because she's who the front desk lady got. Whoever it was, she was soooo rude, unprofessional, and very defensive. She said they always show customers their pricing by showing them the brochure and that I upgraded on my pedicure which is a lie. I was clear about what I wanted. The girl who did my nails even admitted that she didn't show me the brochure. The workers don't even know much about the pricing because my nail tech and the receptionist said they don't offer combinations because the system won't allow it. If that's the case then why advertise something you can't honor on your website? I'm extremely disappointed and upset about this because how I was treated was unprofessional. Please take your money elsewhere to establishments that honor their prices and treat their customers with respect and actually appreciate their business.
Stopped by AVA Nail Spa and had a great experience. Isabella did an amazing job on my feet service very professional, detail-oriented, and made the whole experience relaxing. The staff was friendly, and the spa had a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend booking with Isabella if you visit. read more

I have been coming to this Salon for over 4 years now.. never had an issue until this past week when Hannah Lee put a pretty big gash in my big toe !! Never once did she apologize! It hurt pretty bad.. I just ignored it until I got home to clean it up !! Every day now I have to put disinfectant and creams all over it making sure I don't get an infection! If I had not gotten my eye brows done also I would not have left her a tip ! I hope they take care of this before she does this to other customers!! read more

Highly recommend this beautiful and friendly salon with quality work that follows Covid guidelines. Had an appointment with Liem for a full set on a late weekday evening. Shaping and application was perfect, as well as the nail length requested. He made me feel welcomed and like family. This place is absolutely amazing. I came here on the recommendation of a friend of mine and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is super chill. As per usual HG TV and the cooking shows are on lol but you can very much jam out to the great music. The look is modern. Something I like a lot is that there are is a nail bar and chairs. Considering COVID and all of that it just make for more space to spread out and not be right next to someone. Most importantly the nail techs are all fabulous. If you've read any of my nail reviews- I'm very loyal to my nail spot. I don't jump around to other techs and once I've found someone good I'm sold. Liem is the best! He ls comfortable giving advice on how to take care of your nails but is also an artist at nail design which is very rare. I've had my friends come with me to the salon and have not had a single person disappoint. Lisa is amazing, Gwen,Mike, David. The staff is just good at what they do. Gwen is best if you can get an appointment with her! They serve traditional and cranberry mimosas every day. Today I had the lemon zest pedicure and OPI gel manicure. May did a wonderful job and she was very sweet, polite and welcoming. I love pedicures and don't go often enough so I tend to splurge. They are super COVID conscious and you have to wear a mask and wash hands right when you enter. The shop is very clean and bright and open. I will definitely return! read more

Came in after passing this business several times and wish I would have stopped by sooner! First and foremost it is beautiful, fresh and clean. The whole environment was relaxing. I was greeted by Liem and he assisted me while the next tech was finishing up. Liem took the time to look at my inspiration picture and dig through all of the colors to help me find a perfect match for it. He then proceeded to remove my previous dip and made sure to not drill in my nails "in order to keep them healthy as possible". I thought that was amazing. He also suggested for me to do an accent with foil. After, David was my technician and came to finish my nails. He listened to what I wanted as far as shape and thickness. You could tell he was very meticulous about his work and kept double checking to make sure the nail shape and length matched the others. My finished product came out beautiful. Both gentlemen offered me beverages such as coffee, water, wine or mimosa. I am so happy I found my new tail place so close to home, and am already planning a girls night for pedis on Monday! Update: went in for a pedi and my nails again and everyone I have gotten has been amazing! This time I enjoyed a glass of wine :) thanks again Ava! read more

I've been coming too Ava nails lash & spa for about three months now. I enjoy my experience each and every time. My nail tech names is Mike and he is heaven send! Mike is super professional and is about attention to detail which i love! He always come through on my wishes and executes on my nails. I love a natural look and through out the three months Mike would give me recommendations when it came to trying different looks. I went from regular gel manicure to now acrylic gel which last longer and is stronger. It still gives me a natural look as well which looks very good in my Profession. These photos are from my most recent nail appointment. Natural clear acrylic, i like them cut very short and round. They do enforce a strict late policy which is no later then 7 minutes before your appointment. I understand though, cause time is money! Thank you Mike for being the best lol. read more

Please do not let the looks deceive you. If I could give a rating of less than 1, I would. I came in as a first time costumer last Friday wanting a fall chrome (EASY enough). I showed the tech a couple pictures and informed BOTH techs that I just wanted a simple fall chrome and it didn't have to match the picture exactly. I'll share the inspo picture for giggles. The first chrome came out green, the second yellow, and the third silver. I gave up the chrome since the techs clearly did not know what they were doing and no one was helping. During my manicure one of the other techs next to me was in a personal phone argument that I had to endure instead of taking the call privately. So much for an enjoyable hour away from the kids... The finger the tech tried the chrome on was clearly messed up, she did not fix it. I let her know that the gel on the rest of the fingers was not setting and it was still mushy, still didn't fix it. I left 45 minutes later unsatisfied, disappointed in their customer service, and appalled in the lack of professionalism. That night the finger that was already messed up ended up mushing off. As you can see in the picture the gel under the part that peeled off is still wet. I called this morning to have this issue rectified and spoke with "Lim". No apologies, no sincerity, just rude. If I would have had the time to argue, I would have asked for a refund and to take it all off. I will not be back to this establishment and I will be sharing with my network to avoid it as well. read more

Ehhhh. The salon itself was beautiful and very clean. A lot of the staff was friendly and attentive but the gentleman doing my nails was not great. I'm not going to mention his name but he was in a rush and seemed bothered by every request I had. He gave my cuticles no love and painted my nails like a 5 year old did it. I won't come back but I won't knock the place as a whole it was really nice but if you have a male nail technician beware, maybe try another nail tech there! read more

Very unprofessional! Untimely responses, paint chipping and peeling after 6 days. One of my friends also booked an appointment through their portal and when she showed up they had no history of it. Instead of trying to work with her and understand what might have happened, they made her feel like she did something wrong. Both my friend and my nail's were peeling in less than two weeks. read more

I did Not enjoy my experience. First, there was no air conditioning. Second, I asked For square nails, I got rounded nails ni asked for Mike to correct them, he attempted and still gave me rounded corners. I continued To ask for square and he did not give me square. I showed Him a photo and he told me it was coffin. I did Not enjoy my experience there. I will Not return. Customer service was poor. read more

Came here Saturday and everything was great. Received the express pedicure and gel manicure. Price was $60 plus tip which I loved the comfortable spaced out environment so definitely felt it was worth every penny. It had been a long time since I've gotten my nails done and it was everything I expected. Kenny was great, highly recommend! Can't wait to come back again. read more

I came in with nails that were not very nice but left with nails looking beautiful! I was in Orlando on vacation and had to get my nails redone even though I had done them days before. They just embarrassing so I went to Ava nails on a whim and so glad I did! Thank you! read more
