I came here for a Brazilian wax and unfortunately left bruised, burned, and in a lot of pain. The service was very painful, more so than it should be, and wax was reapplied over the same area 3 and 4 times creating more pain, sensitivity, and burns. I immediately bruised and asked about it and was told it was "pin prick bleeding." I know what pin prick bleeding is and this was not that. The tissue under my skin was ripped and bleeding. I know bruising can occur, especially on sensitive skin, but to say it's pin prick bleeding and not to advise on how to treat it is wrong. I also asked about what I thought were burns and was told that it was all normal and to be expected. My skin was blood red and I developed blisters and eventually peeled. I've since seen several estheticians who have told me that what I experienced was not normal. I was sore for several days vs. the typical 24 hours. I'm giving two stars instead of one because the salon was very clean and the staff was nice. I was originally booked with someone else but when I arrived I was informed someone else would perform my service. I don't know if my esthetician was new or inexperienced, but I cannot return here to try with someone else. I really can't recommend coming here. read more

I went today since the business I usually go didn't have any openings. I decided to give it a try as an first time and walk-in customer. Asked for eyebrow wax. The girl who did my eyebrows name was Taylor. I'm going to resume my experience by stating that I asked to clean them and keep the thickness. Of course, trusting as new customer she will listen. Guess what? She mess up really bad. Yes, her response was I can't put the hair back, we can give you the service for free. Really? FU and the business. There's is nothing sure you can do after but you could start for listening what I specifically ask for from the beginning. They are thing that no free service will replace. How I want any service for free? If this is what they do with something as simple as eyebrow can't imagine other services. I am astonished that this business has not been shut down, I came in for a Brazilian wax a few days ago because my usual waxer is on vacation and was absolutely disgusted by this place there was hair all over the wax bed and floor it looked like it hadn't even been cleaned, there was wax all over the products so I know they aren't sanitizing anything after touching it. I asked my wax tech to please clean off the table and she got extremely defensive saying it is clean and the hair I was clearly seeing was just dust I asked her to please clean it anyways, she was very rude and aggressive during the wax and lifted skin as well as leaving a lot of hair behind. I went to UBella on the recommendation of a mutual friend of Amy and mine. I made an appointment with Ruby two days before my wedding against the advice of friends, family and co-workers. I was worried that I would be red, irritated and it would be noticeable before my wedding. My fears and worries were put aside once the wax was over. Honestly, I am very sensitive when it comes to waxing and that had me very worried. I was completely at ease and the first time was just SLIGHTLY painful. There was no irritation or redness the next day and the powder and irritation solution they use really works. Not only that but I was told that it would help with any odor. IT DID. Since then, I have gone back three times. I have told all my friends and family about it and I promised myself that I wouldn't go back to shaving. Ruby made sure to explain how it would help thin out my hair and how much of a difference waxing makes. I am a believer now. My hair grows back thinner every time and there is less. This time Ruby wasn't there but Amy took care of me and she did such a fantastic job too. I came in for a Brazilian and it was done relatively quickly and it was also nowhere near as painful as I thought it was going to be. I would definitely come back again. They're sanitising practices are good as well. They do require you to wear mask, they have hand sanitizer in the waiting room, and there is hand sanitizer in every room. read more
