My visit came highly recommended by a friend, whose long polished nails always look perfect. I finally got to meet the magician behind such great work. I'm a massage therapist, so I over work my hands on a daily. Due to my profession, I've got to keep my nails very short and clean. Thanks to Sara, she shaped and trimmed off all the excess skin. Leaving me with super clean, revived, and renewed nails! That goes for my pedicure as well! It was a pleasure to be acknowledged in such a personable, caring way by the owners, Sara and Dean. Their professional talented team definitely reflects their uplifting positivity that fills their beautiful tranquil spa. They go above and beyond, keeping you smiling and laughing. You must come to see for yourselves!

Excellent nail salon. They go above and beyond to make you feel like you're treating yourself. They have more options on nail art and colors than any other place. They remolded and redid the entire interior, making it look classy and clean. They are not cheap but it is worth it if you want your nails to be excellent and quality work. This is my spot!

Such a great experience here at CA Nails! The store is beautifully decorated and clean. Services were amazing. They were so sweet and took care of my friend and I. Sara is very patient, I LOVE HER! The atmosphere here is great. I'm an extroverted introvert so I don't want to always have to speak up for myself when it comes to the haggling I've experienced at other nail salons. They don't do that here. And the temperament of the staff here is great. I come here a lot and get many different styles, they do such a great job!

Update: they contacted my personal number, barely took accountability and refused a refund DO NOT GO HERE I went in for a mani pedi this afternoon and had inspo pictures prepped to show the nail tech. I was sat down and asked to choose colors to match the designs i wanted, which i did, and i took pictures of the specific colors to help show the nail tech. When i showed her my designs, she told me she would choose the colors, despite me trying to show her the specific ones id chosen from the samples (like i was asked to do). The nails i got are NOWHERE near what I requested. The nail tech got to work, not asking if i wanted tips to add length to the nail, and began complaining about how short my nails were. I was confused, because she was able to add tips if needed, but didnt ask me if thats what i would like. Therefore I didn't know if they even offered it as a service. She made several complains about how my nails were "too short to look good" and that i asked for "too much design" for that nail length. My issue is that the design attempted looks NOWHERE NEAR the images shown, not in color, not in aesthetic, not at all. They turned out chunky, uneven, and frankly, uglier than I could've imagined. Even on short nails, if the tech had any semblance of skill, youd be able to see similarities. But as you can tell, there are none. Not to mention the amount of comments and complaints made to me had me feeling SO disrespected. I paid for my nails ($60 by the way, a total rip-off) and left without my pedicure because i felt so irritated. Now I have to find another salon to fix this before my vacation. Do not go here, its not worth this. Now I will say that the man helping me at the counter was incredibly kind, and the initial impression I had prior to being seated was very positive, but again, after what I experienced I will NEVER be here again.

Trust me when I say Sarah does the best nails in Orlando, and i've lived in this town my whole life. The designs, retention and overall service is top tier, and she and her husband run a beautiful salon. It's super homey and I cannot say enough good things about it. Was in the area and was looking for a little pampering, and a pedicure at this salon did not disappoint! The staff is really nice, prices are fair, and the massage chairs have a little extra than standard chairs (arm and shoulder massage features, plus airbags for your bum and legs!). I'd definitely try it again when I'm in the area and want something a little extra. read more

Excellent nail salon. They go above and beyond to make you feel like you're treating yourself. They have more options on nail art and colors than any other place. I went to California Nails for a manicure and pedicure and wanted gel polish on my natural nails. This seemed to make the woman who I presumed was one of the owners, very angry. I guess because I didn't want fake nails? She passed me off to another man, who I think was also an owner. I said I didn't want the surface of my nails scratched up because of the damage it causes. But he did it anyway, even though I kept pulling my hands away asking him not to do that. He didn't seem to know how to apply the gel polish, putting on multiple layers and it was lumpy and thick. I was there for about 3 hours! It was a horrible experience where I felt like I was being punished for asking for something too simple. I was charged $169, way more than the menu stated price, for the terrible outcome and experience. It was so bad, I had to come back to try and get it fixed a little at least. The woman kind of filed the gunk down the next day. I would never in a million years suggest anyone go to these haters. I don't know how people like that stay in business. Awful job, still having problems with my toenail after that man mutilated my big toenail. read more

I have been going to this salon since January 2018. When I first went they were Queen Nails at Colonial Plaza. My toe nails are somewhat problematic and the folks here have always done a good job for me. On my visit yesterday, 4 October 2023, I discovered that the salon is under new owner/management and has been completely remodeled. EVERYTHING is new and very beautiful and most importantly extremely clean. The new massage chairs are the best I've ever experienced... I wish I had one at home. ;-) Dean and Sarah are the owners and extremely friendly and personable. My technician was Sarah #12 (Hanh) who was clearly experienced and did a great job. I cannot personally speak to the work of specialty polishes/gels, whatever but the women customers who were there seemed very happy. read more

My daughter, my friend, and I stopped here to get our nails done. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The wait time was minimal and they started us pretty quickly. They were helpful with finding a color (I was being a little picky and had a hard time deciding). My daughter and I got acrylics done - I got a simple color and she had an inspo picture from Pinterest. My friend got a pedicure. We all walked out of there being very happy with the customer service and the quality of the mani/pedi. The folks who worked with us kept checking to be sure we were happy with how everything was looking at several steps along the way and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring our satisfaction. We highly recommend them and will definitely be back soon! read more

Sara did my nails shes super funny and listens to the customer. The place looks very clean with relaxing music and you are greeted as soon as you walk in. You might have to wait a bit to get your nails actually done, but I haven't been to a place where that isn't the case. I also love how my nails turned out. read more

I told the doctor I felt some extra burning in that corner while getting them done and the specialist told me the lash tech either scratched my eye or got some of the chemicals in my eyeball that damaged the surface of my eye. I called and asked to speak to a manager (to hopefully get a refund for the extra $25 she charged me for the style I wanted and the $25 I tipped her) but the manager was unavailable and the front desk totally brushed me off saying the doctor was probably wrong and burning was normal. Burning can be normal, but when a specialist tells you that you've damaged someone's eye, accountability is expected. Don't go here unless you want an extra charge for style, and then have to pay $94 at the eye doctor after they damage your eyeball.

I've been a loyal customer of Sara's for around 13 years, she is an absolute perfectionist, she loves what she does very much and you can plainly see that when you visit her. She has a brand new location here at CA Nails, and I've followed her all around central Orlando. The new shop is gorgeous, very relaxing mood, beautiful furniture and the massage chair/foot baths are THE best! The best part of all, is Sara takes so much pride in what she does, that if she is personally not happy with her work- she will do it until it's perfect. I have been going to this family run business for years and have never had a bad thing to say about my service or the people. They greet you with a welcome and like you are an old friend. I have my name on my own supplies which provide and extra layer of protection from germs. They keep the stations very clean and they wash the foot baths after every use with a quick rinse again before the next customer. I would not go anywhere else and I am VERY fussy! read more

Can't say enough about this nail salon. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to please their customers. The salon is clean and I especially like the way each customer has their own implements in a separate box with their name on it. Jennifer does SNS nails for me and they are fabulous. I arrived with no appointment, but i had called about 15 minutes prior to my arrival. I sat at the first table on the left side of the room (not next to the wall) with a mature technician. I showed her a picture of what i was wanting, more rounded coffin/oval shaped, and ombre natural to allow longer wear before a fill is required. I identified that I previously wore GelX, but was open to other options, but didn't want acrylic. She mentioned a couple of options, but she was difficult to understand. She understood my desire for ombre - i asked if she could do what i wanted and she said a very clear 'yes'. She started and asked a couple of questions of natural color preferences - i said that I would rely on her since i wasn't that picky. She started and was only the 3rd or so nail and a gentleman stopped by and was watching what she was doing and questioning what i was wanting. I explained i used to wear GelX but was open, but didn't want acrylic. He responded with "we do GelX. . . you do realize that's acrylic" - i didn't, but at this point i felt it was too late. I believe he was the one of the owners. She continued to do my nails and I became very concerned as i saw the fairly wide gap between the start of the acrylic and my cuticle. While I may be picky at times, the woman next to her was standing up and watching her work and chatting with her. Others stopped by to watch, including the same gentleman and a couple of other techs and I believe one of them was another owner. They all watched and never showed concern or spoke/questioned my Nail Tech. All i kept thinking was maybe there are different steps and once she continues my areas of concerns may be taken care of. Unfortunately, the product only got worse as she continued. Why didn't i complain? 1) I had already spent a good 1.5 hours in the chair and couldn't afford to waste any more time and 2) co-workers/owners watched throughout the entire time and didn't have any concerns with the quality of work at any time so I didn't expect anything to be different at the end. I've been in this situation with a quality concern quite a while ago and co-workers/owners stopped the work on their own and directed correction. Unfortunately, this didn't happen and I had to learn an expensive lesson. Not even a week later one of the nails broke off and I went to another nail salon which stated they needed to be fully removed as they were done wrong and were very much already lifting away from the nail bed. With all of this, I wouldn't have an issue with a mani/pedi at this salon but will not return for fake nails.

The technician who was assigned to do my nails didn't start until around 9:40 AM. What I requested was very simple: Gel-X with a sheer nude color and white chrome on top. Unfortunately, the execution was extremely poor. The shape is crooked, the color and top coat do not fully cover the nails, there is no apex, and the product flooded my cuticles and sidewalls. I tried to find even one nail that looked good, and there honestly wasn't a single one. All ten nails looked bad--I'm not exaggerating. The service also took far too long for the quality I received. On top of that, there is a 10% student discount advertised, which was not applied, even though I clearly stated that I am a student. No explanation was given. To make things worse, these were supposed to be my commencement nails. I trusted this salon for an important milestone, and instead I'm stuck with nails that look awful with no time to fix them before graduation. It's incredibly frustrating and upsetting to have something this visible ruined for such a special occasion. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the misleading booking system, the long wait, and the poor-quality work, I would not return--even if the service were free.

I've been here a few times. My guy did a good job, it wasn't perfect... I always have to fine tune…read morethe shaping myself when I get home, with most salons... not all. So anyway... I wasn't sure what it was going to cost. I figured $60 tops. So I gave my guy a $15 cash tip then went to check out. It says by the register you get a discount if you pay in cash. So I paid in cash and they said it was $75. I won't be going back because $75 plus a $15 tip is highway robbery. That pricing is INSANE. It's too bad because I liked the guy and he did a pretty good job. Who can afford $90 for nails?!!!!

After visiting a few times, I decided to try the Gel-X manicure, and now I don't think I'll ever go back to acrylic nails. My Gel-X nails have lasted much longer, feel lightweight, and look fantastic. The new owners are wonderful, and everyone who has done my nails has done a great job.

Andy is amazing. I have been coming for the last 4-5 months to get my nails done and they come out…read morebeautiful every time. He takes his time to insure accuracy and always is asking if I'm okay with the shape and color. I have my mom, sisters, and friends all coming to him now because he is that great! Kelly kills it every time too, she regularly does my mom's nails and they are always very trendy and on brand with my mom's style.
