UPDATE: DO NOT COME HERE! We have had our nails done with dip powder for years and have never had this issue. Natural nails were always strong and healthy. After coming here a couple of months, they destroyed our nail bed!! They continuously grind away at the natural nail until raw and painful nail bed before applying several coats of dip to replace the nail they just eradicated. Unskilled filing left cracks up the nails that came up very painfully. I say "they" because the appointment was always with Cecilia but the owner/husband would always grind and file before she grinned and filed some more. Nails were always overworked, sore and raw before first brush. And the man was always a bit too pushy and touchy for my taste. I was uncomfortable since day one; and asked him to stop touching my arm/shoulder. Im sure it's innocent but not professional. We have had to rest & take care of our nails at home because of how painful all the cracks and lack of nail bed have been. Never going back! read more

I've had my nails done with several people at this salon. The owner, can't recall his name, and Mary happen to be who I think do the best work on my hands. Others have misaligned the nail tips, over filed some so the shape is not consistent, or have left one hand with noticeably longer nails than the other hand. But Mary always tells me it's ok to tell her I don't like something and she'll fix it so I'm happy I don't get that with the others. Mary is also the only person I let touch my eyebrows. My first time as a walk in and was blessed to get "Cecilia". She saw what I was getting and made a suggestion that made my nails look prettier than I was even anticipating. She suggested the "white chrome" on top of the while gel I asked for and gave me a "sparkle" nail. Pricing was also fair, I didn't feel like I paid more than I should have, which has happened in many salons. I have finally found my go-to nail place in East Orlando. Anthony, aka Mr. Handsome, does some of the best dip in Orlando and he is so friendly. He really strives to make sure you're happy with your nails and enjoys the conversation and getting to know his clients. The prices are competitive. I have only had 1 or 2 experiences here with other technicians where I wasn't really pleased with the work but it wasn't a deal breaker. I do enjoy the pedicure service, I'm not sure if they offer anything beyond the basic level for $25 as they haven't pressed me for anything beyond it... kind of wish I knew if there was a deluxe level one for a little more but overall I'm satisfied with the pedicure too. read more

My last visit at this salon was towards the beginning of May and about 1-2 weeks later I noticed that my nails looked strange, I couldn't really tell what was wrong because of the gel on them but once I got the gel removed my nails looked pale. I used to be a regular customer at this nail salon, but never again! Idk if they changed the materials and chemicals they are using to cheap ones or whatever, but literally all of my nails (both hands) detached from their nail beds. At first I thought it was just pure coincidence because it was only one nail but after a few days I noticed other nails were also detaching. She told me how bad my nails looked because I didn't want a manicure. Then she was more irritated when I wanted my gel polish off of my toes and replaced with regular polish. Then after doing my toes she left me in my chair and sat and talked to another worker ignoring me. I finally got up by myself and left. I will go elsewhere next time. Came into the salon with my sister, to get our nails done. We had an appointment, and checked in 10 minutes early. The gentleman who greeted us at the front was very pushy and rushed us to be seated. We asked if we could sit near each other. He told us no and proceeded to push me to the back, away from my sister. He told me "say bye, don't cry" very condescendingly. I told him that we didn't mind waiting for something to open up near each other. He sat me down next to her, looking annoyed, and started to take care of me himself. He started to talk to the person next to him in a different language. He handed me the colors to choose one but then asked for my hands while I was looking for a color. I told him I just needed a second, and then demanded that I moved closer. I felt uncomfortable with his attitude towards me the whole time I was there, so I got up and left before he could even do anything and let him know how rude he was being. Sorry for the long review. I just moved here and had to find a new salon... It took four different people to try to do a simple fire design and it still nothing like the photo... the pedicure was also lack luster. The massage was painful and he didn't focus on the bottoms of my feet or remove much of my roughness. I've spent less at a salon at Millenia and gotten a much better service. After twenty minutes of them trying to get this simple fire design done I just agreed to what the last artist did and left. I spent over $100 on nails I'm not very happy with, I was going to choose something even more complicated but as it was my first time at this salon I went simple and it was still too hard for them... the manager kept complaining that the white acrylic was hard already and now the design is even harder... Lovely Spa Nails is by far one of the nicest salons I have ever been to! I walked in without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon expecting to have to wait but apon entering the salon, I was immediately greeted and was requested to check in. After checking in, I was seated, pampered, and treated ;-). The spa is beautiful and the associates seemed happy and enthusiastic. They had TV screens that you could view while you relaxed during your time in the spa and modern music playing. They ask you if you would like to have anything to drink as well. I got a regular pedicure and gel manicure for 45 dollars, which seems fair and on par with other salon prices (at the nail salon closer to my home, they charge 50). I commented to my nail technician that everyone was smiling and seemed so friendly, and the customer across from me overheard and said she had been going to that salon for two years due to their customer service. I could tell that many customers there were regulars. I had to smile when a male customer walked in just wanting his nails trimmed. One of the associates seated him down next to me and proceeded to simply clip his nails. My nail technician (I wish I had gotten her name) was super quick and did a phenomenal job. The environment was so relaxed, friendly, and welcoming that I can see why so many customers are regulars. I wish I had taken pictures of the spa but seeing as the service was so speedy, I didn't even have a chance! =) read more

Horrible!!! Zero!!! Tom is the worst nail technician I've ever had . This guy hurt 2 of my fingers over and over, made them bleed! I asked for almond shape and he "suggested" coffin would be better and believe me, they don't even look like coffin! I wanted one of the nails to be marble design, and he couldn't do it either.. So disappointed! These were my birthday nails and now they are horrible!!! Never again! Thanks Tom for ruining my birthday nails! Well after messaging them about my nails, Anthony contact me and said he would fix my nails.. no charge. You can see the difference! The shape of the nail is more defined and he did the marble nail. Do not go here!!! Beware of fraudulent characters!!! Initial visit was good because I was in a hurry to attend a funeral. The next two visits were ok. One visit, the nail tech was overtly flirting with my husband even so far as to give her card to him and asking him to return. After a few attempts, it is no longer funny or cute. The second to last visit was horrible. The male tech was also trying to be funny but (1) tried to overcharge me (2) was just plain rude with his "jokes". The last time the nail tech pulled at my cuticles instead of cutting them. This caused bleeding and then acted surprised when I told her "usually if there is bleeding it means that hurts!". The last time I did have an appointment but came in earlier. I did not get the one female tech that I liked but a different one that as stated above, pulled at my cuticles instead of cutting it. That last visit was on March 5th. Much to my surprise, I found a charge on my debit card for a visit on the 23rd. Well, I don't know how that could physically be possible as I travel for business and was out of town the entire week. I double checked and did see my other charge on 3/5 so this was not a "catch up charge". Do not go here!!! Beware of fraudulent characters!!! I came in at 10 am and they started with me right away. I came in wanting a gel manicure and regular pedicure, but the gentlemen that was working on my nails suggested I do the dip powder gel polish instead. I though to myself, why not give it a try? The water of my pedicure was EXTREMELY hot, but he realized and made sure it was the right temperature. My nails and toes came out great, but the colors don't match. also ended up doing my eyebrows and the lady was really sweet and they came out nice. (not super thin like other places)I paid a total of $59 for the gel dip powder polish, pedicure and my eyebrows. I'll keep you guys updated on how long the dip powder lasts. I liked it over all and would recommend but I wish my nails would match! *Update* It's been exactly two weeks and my nails today, got their first chip! This has been my go to place for the past two years. Was always pretty happy with my nails however this past weekend my daughter, husband and son went to get their eyebrows waxed. Never in my life have I seen skin ripped off of someone's eyebrows, my daughter was fighting tears and was too afraid to say anything. I called When she got home because I noticed the missing skin and called immediately, only to be told it was just due to her acne. No apology no Anything, just plain put ice on it....so I've taken pictures of day of and four days later to show this was in fact skin ripped off her eyebrows. We won't be going back. read more

I've had a couple of nail techs who didn't do great nail polish jobs, but nothing unbearable. Just to the OCD eye. Anthony has always been wonderful and I think Cecilia also. Mary has also been wonderful. There have been a few times where a nail has come off or broken due to work. But they fix it every time without charging me. They could have, but they didn't. All the employees are really nice. Anthony and Mary always initiate conversations and ask how you are doing. They truly know their guests by name. I get my eyebrows waxed here all the time and by different techs most of the time. I have never had any issues with skin being peeled off or anything along those lines. read more

Was looking for a place to redo my nails before my birthday. I came in close to their closing time and they still gladly took me in. Mr. Handsome as he likes to call himself always does my nails. The first time he did them I felt like he paid really close attention and took his time. I kind of fell in love with the look of the nails he gave me so I went and got them filled at the same place a few weeks later. But I wanted to add glitter this time and he helped me pick out the right polish. He was painted one nail and asked if that's what I was thinking. I like that he actually let me see what it was going to look like on before painting all my nails. The fill and gel cost $30. He fixed some chips in my nails from me getting my nails caught in things and they look brand new. The gel top coat is seriously a life saver and has been the longest that any polish has stayed on my fingers. All in all I recommend this place read more

If i could rate this place a -10 I would. I've been to so many nail spas in West-East Orlando and this has been by far the worst one I've ever been to. The nail tech assigned to me was what seemed in a rush had no patience he wouldn't work with me when I showed him pictures of a ombré dipped powder color I wanted and kept getting the wrong colors he was so mad he told me to wait for someone else to take care of me bc he wasn't going to back n forth. I just wanted to leave and have him take off the nails he had put on me with glue.
