This is the worst nail place I've ever been to. I had my nails done by Sandy the owner and within a day or so I lost a nail , couple days later. I lost another now, within two weeks. I've lost all but 6. I didn't knock them off. They slid off. I don't know if it was her glue or I don't know what it was, I went in and saw her 3 times within a week for her to fix them. Then I gave up. I than called her and asked her if she would , 1. give me my money back or 2. have somebody do them. I never heard back from her. read more

Very unprofessional. Took too long for a full set because the nail lady would pause to call & answer two personal phone calls during the session. She would stop and go do something in the back then when she comes back she didn't wash her hands before continuing with my nails. Also, their drying machine wasn't the UV one, it was a fan that wasn't strong enough. Barely dried. Won't go back!!! If you are a man watch out they will hike up the price. I went last month & was charged $30 for the exact service I had today but they charged me $35 because I was a guy. I have had pedicures for 20years and never had a place charge a different price for men vs women. Then when I checked out they added another $5 for buffing nails instead of polish. Totaling over $40 before tipping. They said because of the buffing in in place of polish or clear coat. Some places do charge for a buff since they usually open a fresh buffer. Today the took a pre-used one from another tech and charged me without telling me. Also not hygienic. It takes longer to apply polish and cost of product so there reasoning is questionable. Lovely nice people & Tom does a great job but not up front on pricing and take advantage of men coming in. There are plenty of other salon options so I'm going back to one I used before and have prices posted or inform you. What a scam ! read more

I got a Brazilian wax here and my private area was sore for many days. They obviously used soft wax which is very harsh for the skin when applied many times over and over again in one instance. It really pains me to write this as I have been coming to this salon since 2015. That being said it has turned into an absolute shit show which sucks because the artists are all very talented. Today was the last straw for me. I came in for my APPOINTMENT at 5:00 as I am writing this it is 6:02 and I'm in a chair waiting. Now this is not a one off incident. I'd actually stopped coming here for that exact reason but decided to give it another try for my birthday. Clearly that was a huge mistake. So I arrived for my appointment and sat patiently. Eventually an hour passes but I wait. Around 6:15 I'm called to a chair of a reluctant tech whose other appointment was a "no show"(we'll come back to this) as I'm walking to the chair the lady I know to be the owner tells me it is my lucky day as if I had not been waiting over an hour for my previously scheduled appointment. Eventually the no show shows up as the tech works and they argue in front of all of us about her appointment time being wrong or who wrote it etc. so now she's waiting too it's around 6:45. Then another girl gets sat next to me after 7. Come to find out, she also had 5:00 appointment with THE SAME TECH. Now let me say I know exactly set my appointment and hers. It was the owners daughter who clearly should not be given any responsibility because this is a common occurrence. I won't comment too much on the child running wild but whew child. Continuing on to my nails I specifically asked for a tech who could do designs...... that didn't happen. Now my nails did turn out well. The tech did a great job shaping them and painting neatly. I have no issue paying as I Love extravagant nails BUT I do have an issue with things being added at a charge without being told to me. In this case I asked paint on 2 of my nails to be glitter and the rest a color I chose (I was already using gel polish) for whatever reason the tech took it upon herself to use a special glitter polish that I guess costs extra (it looks exactly the same as the gel on my other nails but ok) instead of the gel polish. This place has always been a more relaxed environment. The staff seems to be very much connected and family like which is great but this is still a business and some order needs to exist (let's start with efficient appointment setting) anyway I hope it gets better but I won't be back to find out. read more

I go here every month now, ever since my first time just over a year ago. The owner sandy does my pedicure every time and always takes special care of me. She always knows what products I will like and how I like my toenails shaped and my preference on keeping some callous on my feet (as a dancer I need them to protect me from pain). She has the best products and the widest selection from any salon I've visited. I always regret deviating from her salon, but sometimes I have to! Jenny does my nails every time now and she's wonderful. Always fun conversation and phenomenal work. I can literally go a month between fills with minimal lifting. I used to get acrylic but I've changed to SNS and now my nails are long enough that I don't even have to get tips put on. I was referred to this salon by a very good friend. So one day I came in and coincidentally was helped by the person my friend recommended, Jenny. The previous salon that did my nails used bad materials. Jenny explained the difference in what they used vs a lot of the other salons use. I appreciated that bc I really didn't know anything about nails. Ok the last a salon gave me a fungus and I would avoid that at all costs. Note: I was prewarned that even w an appt you will wait bc they tend to overbook their appointments. So within a week of getting my first Acrylic overlay gel nails, it started to chip and peel. You know what that didn't really bother me bc I knew the nail products were good products. I was more concerned about nothing catching a fungus like I have at other salons. So I dealt w it. My next visit was 3 weeks later. I did the same type of nail. The paint and the acrylic chipped in exactly 7 days after having them done. I immediately went back this time to repair two nails. It was done at no charge due to the timing. My third visit was in another 3 weeks. This time the gel started chipping about 9-10 days after having them done. Again, I didn't really mine coming back bc I was sure this place wasn't going to damage my nails. Here's where they really pissed me off. My 4th time coming here. I made an appt w Jenny via text a week prior. I asked for a time, she suggested another. And I took it. I arrive to my appt like 10 mi nearly even thou I know... "if you want Jenny, you will wait" even if you have an appt. When I walk a guy asked me something. I said I have an appt w Jenny and I asked for the gel samples. I take a seat and wait. About 36 minutes after waiting, Jenny comes up to me and says there's a 45 min wait to do my nails. I stated I have an appt. she asked me w who.... umm with you Jenny, my appt is with you. She said she didn't make an appt w me. I show her the txt in my phone. She proceeds to tell another lady that she knew she had an appt but she took a walk in. Well that ends my time w this salon. I will not come back or refer friends. Time is money. And people have lives w plenty of responsibilities I can't wait 130 min to get my nails done and then another hour to complete the job. I'll just do my research and find another salon that uses quality products AND respects people's time. read more

I wasted an hour of my time sitting here waiting for my nails. I had an appointment at 6:00 and it was 6:52 when I decided nobody was going to serve me. I kept being told "2 more minutes" for 35 minutes. I even sent the manager/owner a picture of exactly what I wanted and she was so quick to say "yes of course she can do it!" And AFTER I waited for an hour, the lady who was suppose to do my nails was like "oh I'm not even sure we have that color, I mean maybe you could pick your own colors or something." I wish they would've told me before I wasted an hour of my time. I waited another 10 minutes because I really needed these done, still no service. I REALLY wanted to like this salon, but that desire left my body when my gel manicure peeled the day AFTER I got it done. It is in a very convenient location to me, open late and had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try, but I regret that decision and the money spent. I've been getting shellac (or gel as some people like to call it) for about 3 years and I have NEVER had a manicure chip in under 2 weeks... EVER! Specially not 24 hrs after getting it done, and 3 different nails! Yes, literally 24hrs, in which all I did was work (on a computer), eat and shower. Nothing out of the ordinary, not even a plate was washed. I asked for the brand I always use (CND), but was told - very adamantly - that the brand is not good and they had something better. I was curious since I have never had any complaints with CND, so I agreed to try the brand they recommended. My first warning should have been the messy application of the polish, the fact that after 2 coats it was still see-through or the burning sensation on my fingers when drying the nails, but I thought "Give them a chance". *update so in terms of my nails I rarely RARELY return; however, my friend convinced me to give this place a second chance and I must admit she was right. Everyone is entitled to a bad hire and my last visit was there's. I went back and the owner profusely apologized for my first visit. The girl that I got that time is no longer there but there core staff of people is AMAZING! I got one of the best most thorough manicures I've had in Orlando, I've lived here for 10 years and I am religious with my nails, I've been everywhere from Avalon park to millennia and they really fulfilled EVERY expectation. Not to mention Mercedes really did an awesome job with my design she took my idea and added her own little touches to it and the end product is fantastic. Conceptually there's nothing they aren't willing to try and that's a nail salon I can definitely call home. Plus they have new luxury pedicure chairs so comfort is not an issue. Plus the owner is awesome super down to earth and highly relatable, I could actually just sit down and have a conversation with her I think this is my new nail salon home. I'm glad I was wrong. If I could give zero stars I really would. I went here today super excited after seeing all the yelpers posts and amazing designs. I usually stick to a basic gel manicure so I was ecstatic to play with it. I think I got the new girl in the salon. I should've known something was off when she 1. Didn't know where the gel polish was. 2. Couldn't tell between regular polish and gel. But almost an hour later I had to have the polish removed because honestly there was more on my finger than on the nail. So I opted to leave. Here's where it got really fun. A standard gel polish with what I wanted was $25. And the owner tells me $20 for what I got because I got gel clear polish. 6 or my 10 nails don't even have clear polish so I show the owner or whoever is ringing me up my nails and ask her if she thinks it's $20 worth of work and she says NO she'd be happy to paint them for me but I didn't have time. However she has to charge me what the tech says to charge me and the tech said she did $20 worth of work. This was one of the worst manicures and the worst experiences. I had originally posted a really great review and it saddens me to have to change it. I've gone here for a little over two years. While majority of the nail techs here are VERY talented and do beautiful work, there are several things that finally led to me taking my business elsewhere. Trust me when I say it wasn't an easy decision, I've toyed with it for months now, but finally just got fed up. The first was kind of a build up frustration of every appointment I made being asked to be pushed back to a later time or arriving and waiting for extended periods of time. Most recently, my appt was pushed back and then I got there at the newly requested time and waited an additional fifty minutes before my nails were started. Not to mention, I wasn't even acknowledged until having sat there for 35 minutes. For a while I just put up with it, but getting my nails done went from being enjoyable to stressful because my plans always got pushed back or I was forced to rush. I was intending to give one final opportunity and going to see if pushing my appt back to a later time would help resolve the issue, but I never got a response back from that tech until 4 pm today. Secondly, I raved about this place to multiple friends. So much so, that one of them brought her bridesmaids here to get service before her wedding. Instead of it being a fun and enjoyable experience, she was made to cry due to a tech being rude to her and left very disappointed in her nails. Finally, another friend went in last night to get her nails done and the owner did them. Typically this would be a good thing, unfortunately it was not. She had tips added on, but they weren't glued on properly, she mentioned it to the owner, but was just brushed off. Then the SNS was applied and filed very unevenly, her nails have dips in the middle of them. They look ridiculous, she was charged FIFTY dollars for awful nails. She paid another nail salon to remove them today, not even 24 hours later. So I am just overall really disappointed and quite frankly, embarrassed because I sent multiple friends to this salon and all but one has been disappointed, but she only gets her brows done, not her nails. I understand trying to make money and fit customers in, but when as a business owner, you are rushing through the work, ignoring your clients concerns and then not even producing quality work- it is unacceptable. Aside from that, don't make appointments if you can't keep the time, don't overbook. It wouldn't be an issue if it was 5-10 minutes, but it has almost always exceeded 15-30 minutes of waiting. People make specific appointment times for a reason. It's just become more clear that while these ladies do awesome nails, they don't respect their clients time and to most of us, time is precious. I called on Friday around 6pm and Sandy booked me for an hour later. I walked in and felt very welcomed by her. I sat down waited maybe 3 minutes for her to finish with her client while i picked out a color. I was debating between a gel mani (which I usually get) or getting acrylics long nails. Sandy talked me into continuing with getting gel manis because my nails were healthy and I could just grow them long. I am very pleased with the manicure I received and the application of the gel color. I would definitely recommend her. All the employees seemed to get along and very chatty amongst one another (in english lol) Also their prices are very reasonable ($25 for gel mani) they also do all types of waxing services and massages. I'm not sure who did my nails but she had braces. She did amazing took her time though a little too much time but my shaping was predated and the acrylic was close to my cuticle. The cuticle that she took time to cut. The only reason why it gets four stars is because the salon looks very messy not necessarily dirty but unorganized and unappealing. I got gel powder nails and a pedicure done by sandy twice recently. I have been pleased except for one of my nails starting to chip 3 days after my last visit. I went on Thursday 6/25 and this started yesterday which was Sunday 6/28. I also want to mention some other things I experienced. During my first appointment I noticed sandy talks a lot and while most of it can be funny or entertaining, I found it inconsiderate of her to give people no choice but to endure this constant, loud talking throughout the entire process. But I didn't think too much about it as I was pleased with my nails. The SECOND time I noticed she was starting to talk to me about any and everything as soon as I sat down to start the manicure. I am an introvert, not a huge talker and really just felt like chilling this time. I politely put on my headphones while she was talking to someone else... cause she's always talking to someone... about whatever, a lot of it sounding like slight bickering (I wasn't surprised while reading the other reviews about them having full-blown arguments in front of customers). She. Kept. Talking. To. Me. With my headphones on. This is where I started to feel like something is wrong and I reached the point of annoyed. Over and over again during my pedicure I'm politely removing one headphone out of one ear to hear what she's saying to me, nodding, smiling and putting it back in my ear. She goes on and on telling me about the man who said this and the girl who did that while randomly chatting with other employees and clients in between. I eventually gave up and stopped trying to listen to music, couldn't just zone out like I wanted. I don't understand how someone wouldn't see or care that their client, who is paying for a relaxing service, wants to just chill and not talk. But there's more! After we went back to the manicure she hurt me with the drill thing that spins and is used for the top layer of the nail (idk what it's called). I felt it touch my skin and I JUMPED almost out of my seat. It was my natural response. I didn't even say anything. I understand it scared her when I jumped but I couldn't help it and I apologized for scaring her. She was going off about how she didn't hurt or cut me! There was no visible cut but it did hurt badly, even later on that night and the next day. I said "It HURT" and she just continued with no apology, saying "See? No cut." It may have happened because she was rushing. I did appreciate how quickly she finished the job as my partner had told her we were in a hurry, but an apology for hurting me would have been nice instead of denying it like a child. I want to go back and get my chipped nail fixed but based on this experience and another review, I think I know how she'd respond and treat me. I don't want to subject myself to this behavior any more and am willing to pay to get it fixed somewhere else. I'll get glitter if they don't have my color-don't care! Also, after reading other reviews I'm surprised these problems haven't gotten any better- If I had received such feedback about my business I would work on being more professional. read more

im not from this area, my boyfriend lives my UCF i didn't know a reliable place so my friend suggested this nail salon, i thought i could trust them since her nails always looked perfect... well my nails turned out awful. first of all when i got there they were very understaffed with only one nail tech there, my nails all look uneven with one looking square shaped and the rest looking coffin but not in a cute way, and lastly tiffany never cleaned the acrylic around my cuticles or under my nails which is very uncomfortable.. i went home and tired to clean up my nails myself but it just made my nails loose and start to come off after not having them on for a week! This place is an absolute mess. I came here based on proximity and reviews. During my first visit, the woman doing my pedicure and full set was constantly arguing with multiple other workers in the salon about anything and everything. The arguing went the complete duration of my pedicure. It was the complete opposite of relaxing and completely embarrassing for them. The way they all spoke to each other made me want to crawl under the chair and hide. This wasn't even the worst part. I had a pedicure that turned out well, but also got a full set with gel. Within two days the tips were separating from my nails, allowing water and dirt to enter in between, which can lead to infections. I followed up with the salon a few days later, asking for them to be fixed (your nail and the tip should be flushed). The same woman who originally did my nails sat me down to fix them and then proceeded to tell me how I didn't know what I was talking about and how it was perfectly normal for the tip to be separated from the nail. This went on for a solid 20-30 minutes. I became so insulted about how I was being spoken to by an already terrible nail job that I told her to stop what she was doing because I was leaving. Half of my nails had been removed at that point and I left with missing nails because of how she was talking to me. I asked her how much I owed and she said nothing, so I walked out. She yelled at me the entire time I was walking out the door to my car. I was on the phone in tears with a friend because of this experience and how nasty this woman was. I will NEVER return to this salon. It was easily my worst nail salon experience and I hope others will avoid this place as well. read more

I have been to a lot of nail salons and none of them are quite like this one. The nail artists there are very diverse and have fun doing their job. First time there I was seated and the lady sat me down and started taking off my polish when client of hers walked in and said they had an appointment she said she totally forgot and had to seat me somewhere else. At first I was a little upset but out came Nicki to the rescue! She was pretty awesome. The nails I had were round and pretty messed up, she fixed them all up and when I was indecisive about polish she said 'ombré it up' haha so I did. This is definitely my nail spot in Orlando. Glad I checked them out. They all speak English which is a nice perk. I don't like not knowing what other people are saying around me. They were doing a Christmas raffle to which is pretty fun.
