Aloha Nails Review I was a walk in this morning at Aloha Nails. The weather worked in my favor, there was a storm so I figured I'd try my luck without an appointment. I'm so glad I did! I was greeted with a warm smile and quickly set up for a Dip Powder and Pedicure Service. Nina gave me one of THE BEST pedicures I have ever had! It was like a deep tissue massage for my legs and feet! I chose the Organic Pedicure, and it was truly amazing! My feet were not in good shape but by the time Nina got done soaking, exfoliating, scrubbing and polishing, I felt like my legs and feet had spent a day at the Ritz Carlton Spa! Speaking of which, the salon or should I say, nail bar is so lovely! They have a long hightop bar where nails are serviced and a separate pedicure area in the back. It didn't smell of heavy chemicals at all, it smelled like a spa. I will definitely be back, with friends and family and highly recommend Aloha Nails! read more

Aloha Nail and Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Longwood, Florida

I've been going to this salon for over 5 years and it's still my favorite! Everyone is super friendly from the moment you walk in, and the environment is somehow still cozy even when it's busy. I usually get a gel manicure, and the organic pedicure in the lavender scent - smells wonderful and so relaxing! They also updated their massage chairs for an enhanced experience. My favorite nail tech is Nina, she always does a great job and is the only person I trust with my eyebrow waxes. read more

Aloha Nail and Spa - SNS 159 - Nail Salons Near Me - Longwood, Florida

Nina and Tommy are hard working people who run a great business in a most difficult industry. They are not the cheapest but their salon is clean, they are always upgrading, they are quite often busy, which says something about them... if you are in a hurry maybe try another salon or call ahead to determine how busy they are. Staffing is challenging everywhere!!! I have been coming here for years and I just come back if they are too busy. read more

I have been here 2x ... the first time was years ago, then recently i decided to try it again since I was in the area and sadly wish I didn't. The lady rushed to do my dip powder and it was so uneven and lumpy... she even shaved into the color so it was patchy in areas with more color and some areas with none. I had to go home and fix it myself. They also added a clear gel coat on top of my nails (without asking me and charging me extra) and there were so many lumps and bubbles in my set, I was shocked when I looked in the light outside. I paid over $50... wont go there again. read more

My daughter and I came in for pedicures, a manicure for her and a SNS redo for me. I walked out of there 105 dollars later, with nothing on my hands because they melted my tips! The manicure (cuticle clean up) was 10 on top of the 10 "take off" that I didn't ask for. The ridiculous nickel and diming was too much for me. An extra 5 to shape my nails into my preferred coffin shape? Nope. They won't see us again. read more

This was my first time at this salon. I came in because I broke my thumb nail at work. They took me right in, there was no wait time. They didn't have the exact same color for my nail polish but they were able to not only fix my broken nail but get as close as they could to the color. The place is rather small but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Like I said before they didn't have the exact color for my nail polish but they took their time to try on different colors to match or resemble the one I have on. If you are ever in the Wekiva Springs area, I recommend this place read more

I get dip on my nails and a pedi here every 3 weeks. They always look fantastic and everyone is so kind and thorough!

no matter what if I make an appointment I'm always sitting for 30mins! I was willing to come later instead they make me come at a certain time and wait read more

Amazing service, incredibly nice and professional staff that took such time and patience in making my nails perfect. Will be back!

The owner was on her phone after she made my "hangnail bleed" then stuck her hands in my pedicure bowl and continued with my pedicure. I've heard stories of really bad nail infections. Being clean is number one and the fact she was doing a million things at once is just not good service. I wish she gave me one of her employees instead because they seemed more focused. She was very kind don't get me wrong I just think she needs to slow down and work on the hand washing. read more

Ever since I moved to Altamonte Springs last year I have been a frequent flyer at Aloha. I go every couple of weeks on a Friday, never with an appointment & I always get seen very quickly. I love the bar set up they have for getting your nails done, it makes such great use of their space. & their is a hook beside each chair for your purse which I always find so neat! When you walk in there is always someone their to greet you and to find out what you would like done. I usually speak to Nina ( One of the owners) she handles all the appointments and keeps everything in check with walk ins and timing! Tommy (Owner and Ninas husband) is the BEST nail tech in there. He pays such great attention to detail and he is so sweet. He loves to engage in conversation and talk. read more

Have a surgery coming up and they require I take off any polish , acrylic etc. Had my acrylic removed (charged for that), had gel toe polish removed (charged for that), did a basic pedicure with NO POLISH and manicure with no polish. Nickel and dimed for everything and charged $65 which is more or less what I pay for gel toes and an acrylic fill with gel!! I couldn't believe it! Still gave the poor guy a tip because he's not the one making pricing but the owners and the business is not what I recommend. It's not upscale and is empty. No wonder. For being so expensive they don't even offer you a water... terrible first time experience because of this and won't come back. read more

Huge fan!!! My husband and I make a monthly habit of getting our pedicures here. I discovered this gem when I arrived early for another local appointment. The staff is amazing. The facilities are clean and everyone is super friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area. #muststop read more

I'll start with a few positives...the owners are nice and have good colors to choose from. I got a spa pedicure here (should include-scrub, mask and massage). The person doing my pedicure just rubbed all these things on me which no massage. If you are like me and need the massage, this is disappointing. Then, I tell them upon check out and they still charge me $35. I would not recommend this place. read more

I found this gem by accident. I walked in on a late Saturday evening and was still able to get the exact service I requested. Most nail shops don't offer dip & when they do it's not the best. Tommy did a phenomenal job on my nails and he took his time perfecting it. I requested a French dip overlay and it was beyond my expectations!! read more

Tina is the absolute best nail tech at this location for pedicures but I hate she has to work here.... don't ask me why I have allowed the owner to speak to me disrespectfully countless times, hanging up in my face and I still pay for services JUST WITH Tina (that's how good Tina is) NEVER AGAIN! They dnt clean the jets of the pedicure bowl, the owner will tell u to come at a certain which conflicts with the service of the customer the tech is currently servicing causing the tech to rush and you still wait 30 minutes plus to be serviced. The bathroom is unkept and has roaches dead and alive. Last but not least they use MMA monomer typical chop shop behavior. The owner (husband) / tech who sits to the right when you first walk in by the cashier did a horrible set using MMA. I went to a different nail salon to have the nails removed by another nail tech who had the hardest time removing this slimy mess. If u want poor customer service, spoken to with no respect and rushed, MMA acrylic nails, and to throw away your money to a business who doesn't appreciate you please be my guest. read more

I came here around 4pm on a Friday, only had to wait about five minutes to sit down for my pedicure and I really enjoyed the pedicure service. However, I'm giving three stars because I was really disappointed in the SNS I got. It feels/looks grainy and my nails are uneven. I don't feel like I should have to go home and fix my nails after paying $30 to have them done by someone else but that's unfortunately what I'll be doing. read more

I have been going here for over two years an I have not had a problem at all my nails always looked great! But yesterday an went in an Nina did my nails which she has never done, an I didn't pay to much attention to my nails till I got in the car after I paid but mistake. They were so jacked looking an we're so in even an crooked an my pinky nail was cut from the nail file. I was so upset I went to a diff salon an just asked them to please fix them. An they did. But when I went back an showed her pictures of what kind of nail job she did she did not care at all an would not refund me my money. So if you do go here please examine ur nails closely before leaving cause u will not get ur money back! But me I will not be back. read more

I have come here several times and thought they were good so my husband bought gift cards for my daughter's and I. The appointment was made four days prior to the date. Well, It did not matter that we had an appointment and wanted to get Services together so we could visit. Each one of us were taken one at a time and one of my daughter's who was here visiting had to wait over one hour. This is NOT acceptable.! I will never go back and recommend you go to Bella Nails which is down the street. read more

This is my go to nail spot. Nina and Tommy, owners are friendly and have nice staff who do great work. I enjoy their pedicures and sns manicure. Relaxing and nicely finished. My husband who was hesitant to get a pedicure now looks forward to the experience. Comfortable chairs! Extremely clean. Relaxing place! I highly recommend Aloha. read more

This time I liked it more because one of the owners did my nails. There is Nina and there is her husband he did my nails but I forgot his name. I got sns number 304 and this time he gave me the nail shape me and my mom wanted and sns there usually is really thick but he doesn't make it thick. I really like my nails read more

I've been looking for a GREAT new nail salon since moving to the area. I've even been driving 20 miles just to go to my last salon, until I found a new local one that is above average. I finally found Aloha Nail and Spa and I am more than impressed. When I say "great" it's because Aloha sets the bar for customer experience and friendliness. My first time in, walk-in, the pink and white acrylic was exactly how I explained I like it. They were patient and gentle with the dremmel tools, and on par with the acrylic technique. I am looking forward to my next experience, which will be sooner rather than later. I would not be writing this review for anything other than a stellar experience. This is not your average nail salon--it's a great nail salon! read more

My girlfriend and I went here yesterday to have a mani/pedi date. We didn't make an appointment so we expected a little bit of a wait time. I'd say it was about a 10-15 minute wait. I enjoyed the vibe and the place was very clean. The women were very friendly and talkative and instead of speaking in another language and making us uncomfortable (like I've experienced in other nail places) I really appreciated that they kept us involved in their conversation and kept us entertained, they made us feel like their priority. We were seated together and our services were performed professionally. We were very happy with our end results. I have to say I did doze off here and there too. Overall it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back! Just a tip: I wouldn't recommend coming during your lunch break like I saw on a previous review. It is a service that takes time and can't be rushed, your results and your experience won't be the same. read more

I've driven by this place a million times and finally gave them a whirl. And I'm really glad I did - they did a great job. I indulge myself with pedicures from time to time and was kinda burned out on the old place I used because I noticed their cleanliness was not what it used to be. Aloha has an above average decor and great service. I walked in and was seated right away. So for a guy pedicure, it was really much better than I was accustomed to. Give this place a try. It's nice and the service is excellent. read more

Super disappointed in all of the services I received here yesterday. My mom and I wanted to give it a try since we live in the area. I was going to get a pedi, mani and a lip wax. We were aware that their would be a wait "30-40-50 minutes" that turned into OVER an hour. Whatever not a big deal. They started working on my mom and the guy was really rough but took his time then about 15 minutes after someone came to work on my pedi. Which ended at the SAME TIME as my mom's. I felt really gypped do you. The lady didn't even take off all of my previous polish and when I asked her to not trim my big toe she did anyways. She was gentle on my ingrown toe tho so that was nice. I was so frustrated by the end of it that I canceled my manicure and then went to get a lip wax which I quickly regretted. She brought me into the room, didn't close the door and slapped so much wax on my face I almost told her to stop before she ripped it off, she got it all over my cheeks not just my lip. And told me "thanks for letting me torture you" when she finished. Nope. Never again. read more

Fucking horrible. The lady cut me and when I asked her to redo a finger she acted like she didn't know English... I came back and politely asked for a refund or for them to at least redo it because each finger was I kid you not uneven. All they did was fill it and told me to have a good day. Biggest waste of $35 I ever spent. read more

I've been going to Aloha for the last 4 years and LOVE it! SAVE YOUR MONEY! I have been to this place two times now. First time was for a pedicure and they did an ok job. I decided to give it a second try and do a manicure and pedicure. I was completely disappointed. The nail tech's name was Amy. She was not personable at, but may possible be a language barrier. I had a lot of hang nails on my fingers, so was really looking forward to getting getting the manicure. It was a rush job and I got zero cuticle cleanup on either my manicure or pedicure. That's the whole point of paying for a manicure and pedicure. I will not be going back. read more

Love my new nail polish! Staff are super nice. I am new to the area so I got lost on my way here, had to call them couple times and they were very patient and helpful in giving me directions. :) And it's my first time getting SNS done btw, I haven't had anything like this back in Hawaii which is pretty cool. Aloha Nail and Spa - Love my new nail polish! #154 - Nail Salons Near Me - Longwood, Florida

I am normally loyal to my salons but didn't want to drive the distance to the salon I had been going to. Aloha Nail has been in the same plaza and in business for a while I thought I would give them a try and save the drive time. My first visit was great and my SNS lasted for almost 3 weeks...that is fairly normal for me. The second visit I had 3 nails crack/break within 2 days and by day 10 I had 7 of my 10 nails broken or cracked. I then went into the salon to have my nails fixed assuming there was a 2 week guarantee like most salons. I was told there was no guarantee and was not offered any help at all. I am so disappointed in the customer service I received and will never go back not will I ever recommend this salon to anyone. A horrible way to treat clients/customers....new or old. I'll stick with my other salon and happily make the drive to be treated the way a paying customer should be treated. read more
