I've been going to this salon for over 5 years and it's still my favorite! Everyone is super friendly from the moment you walk in, and the environment is somehow still cozy even when it's busy. I usually get a gel manicure, and the organic pedicure in the lavender scent - smells wonderful and so relaxing! They also updated their massage chairs for an enhanced experience. Aloha Nails Review I was a walk in this morning at Aloha Nails. The weather worked in my favor, there was a storm so I figured I'd try my luck without an appointment. I'm so glad I did! I was greeted with a warm smile and quickly set up for a Dip Powder and Pedicure Service. Nina gave me one of THE BEST pedicures I have ever had! It was like a deep tissue massage for my legs and feet! I chose the Organic Pedicure, and it was truly amazing! My feet were not in good shape but by the time Nina got done soaking, exfoliating, scrubbing and polishing, I felt like my legs and feet had spent a day at the Ritz Carlton Spa! Speaking of which, the salon or should I say, nail bar is so lovely! They have a long hightop bar where nails are serviced and a separate pedicure area in the back. It didn't smell of heavy chemicals at all, it smelled like a spa. I will definitely be back, with friends and family and highly recommend Aloha Nails! read more

Nina and Tommy are hard working people who run a great business in a most difficult industry. They are not the cheapest but their salon is clean, they are always upgrading, they are quite often busy, which says something about them... if you are in a hurry maybe try another salon or call ahead to determine how busy they are. I have been here 2x ... the first time was years ago, then recently i decided to try it again since I was in the area and sadly wish I didn't. The lady rushed to do my dip powder and it was so uneven and lumpy... she even shaved into the color so it was patchy in areas with more color and some areas with none. I had to go home and fix it myself. They also added a clear gel coat on top of my nails (without asking me and charging me extra) and there were so many lumps and bubbles in my set, I was shocked when I looked in the light outside. My daughter and I came in for pedicures, a manicure for her and a SNS redo for me. I walked out of there 105 dollars later, with nothing on my hands because they melted my tips! The manicure (cuticle clean up) was 10 on top of the 10 "take off" that I didn't ask for. The ridiculous nickel and diming was too much for me. This was my first time at this salon. I came in because I broke my thumb nail at work. They took me right in, there was no wait time. They didn't have the exact same color for my nail polish but they were able to not only fix my broken nail but get as close as they could to the color. The place is rather small but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Like I said before they didn't have the exact color for my nail polish but they took their time to try on different colors to match or resemble the one I have on. The owner was on her phone after she made my "hangnail bleed" then stuck her hands in my pedicure bowl and continued with my pedicure. I've heard stories of really bad nail infections. Being clean is number one and the fact she was doing a million things at once is just not good service. I wish she gave me one of her employees instead because they seemed more focused. Have a surgery coming up and they require I take off any polish , acrylic etc. Had my acrylic removed (charged for that), had gel toe polish removed (charged for that), did a basic pedicure with NO POLISH and manicure with no polish. Nickel and dimed for everything and charged $65 which is more or less what I pay for gel toes and an acrylic fill with gel!! I couldn't believe it! Still gave the poor guy a tip because he's not the one making pricing but the owners and the business is not what I recommend. It's not upscale and is empty. No wonder. For being so expensive they don't even offer you a water... terrible first time experience because of this and won't come back. read more

Ever since I moved to Altamonte Springs last year I have been a frequent flyer at Aloha. I go every couple of weeks on a Friday, never with an appointment & I always get seen very quickly. I love the bar set up they have for getting your nails done, it makes such great use of their space. & their is a hook beside each chair for your purse which I always find so neat! When you walk in there is always someone their to greet you and to find out what you would like done. I usually speak to Nina ( One of the owners) she handles all the appointments and keeps everything in check with walk ins and timing! Tommy (Owner and Ninas husband) is the BEST nail tech in there. He pays such great attention to detail and he is so sweet. He loves to engage in conversation and talk. read more

Tina is the absolute best nail tech at this location for pedicures but I hate she has to work here.... don't ask me why I have allowed the owner to speak to me disrespectfully countless times, hanging up in my face and I still pay for services JUST WITH Tina (that's how good Tina is) NEVER AGAIN! They dnt clean the jets of the pedicure bowl, the owner will tell u to come at a certain which conflicts with the service of the customer the tech is currently servicing causing the tech to rush and you still wait 30 minutes plus to be serviced. The bathroom is unkept and has roaches dead and alive. Last but not least they use MMA monomer typical chop shop behavior. The owner (husband) / tech who sits to the right when you first walk in by the cashier did a horrible set using MMA. I went to a different nail salon to have the nails removed by another nail tech who had the hardest time removing this slimy mess. If u want poor customer service, spoken to with no respect and rushed, MMA acrylic nails, and to throw away your money to a business who doesn't appreciate you please be my guest. read more

The person doing my pedicure just rubbed all these things on me which no massage. If you are like me and need the massage, this is disappointing. I came here around 4pm on a Friday, only had to wait about five minutes to sit down for my pedicure and I really enjoyed the pedicure service. However, I'm giving three stars because I was really disappointed in the SNS I got. It feels/looks grainy and my nails are uneven. I don't feel like I should have to go home and fix my nails after paying $30 to have them done by someone else but that's unfortunately what I'll be doing. read more

I've been looking for a GREAT new nail salon since moving to the area. I've even been driving 20 miles just to go to my last salon, until I found a new local one that is above average. I finally found Aloha Nail and Spa and I am more than impressed. When I say "great" it's because Aloha sets the bar for customer experience and friendliness. My first time in, walk-in, the pink and white acrylic was exactly how I explained I like it. They were patient and gentle with the dremmel tools, and on par with the acrylic technique. I am looking forward to my next experience, which will be sooner rather than later. I would not be writing this review for anything other than a stellar experience. My girlfriend and I went here yesterday to have a mani/pedi date. We didn't make an appointment so we expected a little bit of a wait time. I'd say it was about a 10-15 minute wait. I enjoyed the vibe and the place was very clean. The women were very friendly and talkative and instead of speaking in another language and making us uncomfortable (like I've experienced in other nail places) I really appreciated that they kept us involved in their conversation and kept us entertained, they made us feel like their priority. We were seated together and our services were performed professionally. We were very happy with our end results. I have to say I did doze off here and there too. Overall it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back! Just a tip: I wouldn't recommend coming during your lunch break like I saw on a previous review. I indulge myself with pedicures from time to time and was kinda burned out on the old place I used because I noticed their cleanliness was not what it used to be. My daughter came home for the holidays and went to Aloha Nail to get me a gift certificate. On Christmas Day I opened the white envelope and there was a $75 gift certificate. It said for the value of a spa pedicure and a regular pedicure. I did put it to the side where I thought was a safe place but while cleaning up my husband tossed the envelope with all the tissue paper. I called a few days later and was told to come over to see if they could help me. I got Covid right after so had to wait to go. Once I did I was told there was no way they could trace the certificate because they just write them down and do not keep copies or information on the certificates they sell. What kind of business does not keep track of their gift certificates? So anyone could grab one from their desk, write an amount and they will honor it because they don't know what they sell? I know it's my fault it's missing but I feel a descent business would have offered some kind of resolution to keep my business coming. They may have kept the $75 but they could've got more business from me by handling this better. read more

Super disappointed in all of the services I received here yesterday. My mom and I wanted to give it a try since we live in the area. I was going to get a pedi, mani and a lip wax. We were aware that their would be a wait "30-40-50 minutes" that turned into OVER an hour. Whatever not a big deal. They started working on my mom and the guy was really rough but took his time then about 15 minutes after someone came to work on my pedi. Which ended at the SAME TIME as my mom's. I felt really gypped do you. The lady didn't even take off all of my previous polish and when I asked her to not trim my big toe she did anyways. She was gentle on my ingrown toe tho so that was nice. I was so frustrated by the end of it that I canceled my manicure and then went to get a lip wax which I quickly regretted. She brought me into the room, didn't close the door and slapped so much wax on my face I almost told her to stop before she ripped it off, she got it all over my cheeks not just my lip. And told me "thanks for letting me torture you" when she finished. Nope. Never again. read more
