Simonton windows had our glass shipped to this company 90 minutes South of Prescott, not 2.5 hours Eddie stated. Clear View has had our window replacement since the end of July and has not made any effort to contact us. Today, I sent an email to the CEO of Simonton Windows. I called Clear View, we are not a priority for this company. Eddie could not promise a time or date, maybe the end of September or October. He became rude when I tried to explain we are frustrated at the lack of response. I told him, it was unacceptable and I would write a review. Been almost 6 months & not only do they not yet have the glass for our bathroom window replacement but it's been almost 2 months of not being able to get ahold of Evelyn or Rafael at Crystal View Glass. I've left multiple messages when I could if their voice mailbox wasn't full. However, they were quick to take our $1,000 deposit back in September 2022. It is now mid March 2023. Things started out well. And then, first installation date blown off. Second installation date delayed as the roof at the storage facility had caved in and broken my door. Reordered. Third installation date, cancelled due to family illness. Fourth installation date, I cancelled when I was informed of the second delay to the days schedule pushing the time until 4:30ish PM. This business use to be good but they have gotten to the point where they prefer to work with only contractors and not home owners. When I called, the person picking up was unhelpful. I told him what I was looking for and he wouldn't provide ideas, schedule an estimate or answer any of my questions for a simple shower door. I patiently rephrased my questions to get him to understand as I have done business with them before but he kept responding with "can't do it bud" and made it clear they prefer we go thru a contractor then directly with homeowner. read more

They will not stand behind their work. We had a glass shower door installed less than two years ago. The door always drops and starts to rub against the bottom of the tile. Every two weeks or so I have to shim it and retighten the screws. This company says this is normal wear and tear, and they can reposition it as needed for a $180 charge. The representative I have talked to was condescending and did not stand behind the product or installation, which in my opinion is not adequate to support the weight of the door. We had three glass companies come to our home and give us quotes. Brandon was the most thorough and professional of them all. He made us comfortable that he knew this business well. His price was competitive and they did an excellent job. Dealing with Wendy on the phone was great! She was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I had a quote on 17 windows and the sales rep was honest said that I was getting a better quote somewhere else. So on to my next project I go. I just finished a walk in shower and needed a quote for a glass door. The sales rep was here one month ago about the windows. I called and now they want to charge me $75 to come to my house for a quote because I'm far. Really you guys were just here a month ago. The lady who answered said they will waive the fee. Ok lets book my appointment they didn't want to come after 12pm really? I was fine since the fee was waive. They said I was going to get a call the day before as a reminder. Did I get a call? Nope I was not even in the schedule. Good thing it was an early appointment so I was able to miss only a few hours of work. I had an unusually large number of windows to replace. They were double pane windows, about 17 years old. Many of them had started to lose their seal and create a foggy film inside. Brandon came over and helped assess the situation. He was very honest and made sure we selected the right windows to replace. He even explained why some window that didn't look foggy should be replaced. Working with their office I spoke with Wendy many times to work out the details. She did a great job coming up with the right price to do the work. Typically there is a set rate for installing a window or two. But Wendy worked with me to get a fair price given that we were replacing so many windows at once. She was very customer service oriented, very friendly, always got back to me and was always willing to help. This is probably the most amazing thing that has happened. Selling your house is stressful enough, and on top of that somehow the master bedroom window broke. I called Crystal Clear View Glass and received a super affordable estimate. We paid the estimate and sent the buyer the invoice. Unfortunately, the buyer is going through a VA loan and wouldn't close until the window was fixed and now we're past the closing date. The owner hears we could be in breach of contract and puts an absolute rush on the window. On his own day off, he gets the window from the supplier and fixes it himself the very next day!! He calls me and tells me the job is complete, and I didn't even know he was at the old house. What an amazing surprise! I was completely speechless. The company did an amazing job fixing my entertainment center in which my toddler broke one of the glass cabinets. We were able to schedule the initial measurements and quotes quickly. Brandon came out and did a great job. We had 3 separate glass repairs/jobs being done. unfortunately we had poor communication with the scheduler during this time. We were rarely called back for a follow up when they said they would call. Install- they did a good job installing the glass shower. The sliding glass door has a crack on the side of it and was left very dirty. Front glass window repair was done well. Brandon, the owner, called immediately to apologize for the short falls and see what could be done to fix them. He came out to our home and offered many different ways to remedy the concerns. They smashed in a 16x48" window to enter my empty home. I had to have the window repaired or else the Buyer wasn't going to let us close! I called Crystal Clear Glass and since I was in a bind, they moved their own schedule around to accommodate my own, one day in advance. They stayed in contact with me through out the entire process. I couldn't be happier with this company. I have a piece of crap builder installed shower enclosure that over the last 10 years has fallen apart due to its cheap pieced together nature. I called CCVG to rebuild and reseal it all up. Initially, my experience wasn't so wonderful as the first crew that came to do the work didn't really perform the scope of work that it took to make the shower door right. After contacting the company back to express my dissatisfaction, the owner Brandon was immediately alerted and personally saw to it that the job was completed toi the end. In fact, he personally did the work with a helper. The shower door works perfectly and everything lines up and its absolutely better than I expected. My point is this... not all companies nail it right out of the gates but if you have a company and a business owner thats willing to do whats necessary to perform the job and make it right, no matter what.. thats a company you WANT to do business with every time. Had Crystal Clear View glass recently replace a cracked window in my home. The original guy who came out was great and due to our quote no longer being current they had to send another repair guy. He too did a great job. So we called in to give a deposit and set a date. After agreeing on a date we made sure to have our schedules open for the replacement. About a couple days to our installation I received a call to tell us that our window has not arrived. I called back spoke with another agent about being compensated some how for the inconvenience. Since it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving he said no managers were there to ask. I was told that he will call me back and let me know. I did not receive a call and had to call back myself the following week. I was then told that we will not be given any type of discount for our inconvenience. No manager spoke with me to apologize, nothing. We eventually had our window fixed and everything looks good as of now, but in the future I will consider another company. Customer service comes a long way especially when your customers are having to take time off work. read more

Listen closely anyone reading this review. I own a window cleaning business in Phoenix. Three weeks ago while cleaning an apartment building my cleaning crew committed the ultimate cardinal sin of window cleaning and broke a piece of glass. It was unfortunate and ugly but luckily the property manager was nice and allowed us time to get it fixed. Feeling horrible about the situation I immediately called glass replacement companies hoping at least one could give me good news. Everyone was giving me the same runaround. Our house needed 2 more windows. The other companies needed a minimum of 3 windows to even do business with you. The 2 guys came on time and it took them awhile to complete the job but they got it done. I took pictures during the install and I had some concerns. The other window company spray foamed around the window while the guy was just gonna put the trim and caulk. I asked the guy if he could spray foam and he said yes. So his other partner went to Home Depot and got a can of spray foam. I thought that was odd that they didn't have the foam. I used this company two years ago. It was an excellent service experience, so I called them to get a bid on a replacing a door. It wasn't even close to the same experience. The customer service person on the phone was pathetic at customer service. The experience with the estimator that came out was similar. We are selling our home and needed a window repaired/replaced within a 2 week time frame! Crystal Clear View Glass came out within a few days of calling, measured, ordered the glass and came back a week later to install. For some reason the initial new glass did not fit.
