Couldn't find the actual entrance the first time. Need better signage The food is always carefully prepared and delicious. Quality!  Yesterday we both felt the quality of Crush. The quality of service and caring, quality table cloths and napkins, quality food, just overall quality everything. The Gorgonzola salad was super fantastic. $11. The Kale salad (which I usually order) unlike all previous visits had way too much dressing all over the kale which took away from my usually loving it. $12 The Brussel Sprouts were nicely charred/burned and really delicious. $12 The Steakhouse pizza overall was very good (my personal preference is having a bit less cheese on it however even with that it was great). $18 The red wines by the glass are fairly priced and as always very nice and served in very nice wine glasses. Local Sierra Nevada Pale Ale beer (my favorite for over 40 years) on tap along with a few other rotating beers. When we left I had accidentally left my credit card on the table. 3 minutes after we left first a busboy came running after us telling us that we had forgotten to take it and 30 seconds after him the hostess came out running with my credit card in her hand. Now THAT is an example of a caring team. Thank you Crush and your wonderful team.  I wish that they did not tack on 3% for credit card transactions (however I do understand why they do it). We will be back. read more

Amazing food! The best in Chico. I live in SF Bay Area and eat here whenever I'm in the Chico area.

The food is great! The service is friendly and efficient. The patio deck is wonderful in the non winter seasons.

Had a great time tonight! I couldn't decide what to order so I got a recommendation from Kyle our waiter. Got the ricotta gnocchi, so good! We had a plethora of different things. Pizza, salad, appetizers. Sooooo good!! Took the fig and prosciutto pizza to go. GF it was delicious. Recommend! Kyle, you're the best!! read more

I went here for the first time this month after wanting to try for a long time and had an excellent time! Our server was fantastic. Seating- we had a half booth half chairs seating arrangement and as a short person you definitely sink into the booth seat enough to feel a little low, but it wasn't uncomfortable, just hard to scooch over on Ambiance: restaurant is well maintained but I wouldn't go again in the height of summer, it's hard enough to cool a house, let alone a restaurant on the second floor. They did a great job for what they were working with Drinks: I had the dragon lily because I love fruity drinks and our server recommended it based on that, it was fabulous and I'd highly recommend Food: -rosemary bread oil/balsamic: omg this was so good and I ate WAY too much of it -cheesy bread appetizer: fantastic and I need more, this is a must get -Bruschetta with burrata: I was actually a little disappointed in the presentation of this. Flavorful ingredients but hard to split between people when you have to build your own, just my preference. -Entree Miso Salmon with substitution of mashed potatoes (instead of wasabi mash potatoes): I found the salmon a little dry and overcooked and found the miso flavor to be too overpowering. The mash was fantastic. Overall wouldn't get this particular dish again. -Brownie: this was incredible. I was so full but this was so delicious and decadent there was no way I was leaving that uneaten. Thank you crush for the fabulous birthday and can't wait to go back! read more

Food is great, presentation is excellent, servers are well trained. Noisy when the restaurant is busy, having conversation is difficult.

We were in town on Wild Cat weekend so I had made reservations ahead of time. We arrived on time and we were seated promptly. The ambience and atmosphere was sheik and modern. Dress was casual. We ordered Brussels sprouts and cheese garlic bread to start. For our main course I had the swordfish with asparagus over potatoes, my husband had chicken raviolis, and my son had the braised short rib Stroganoff. Our appetizers and meals came out timely and hot. The servers were friendly and attentive. Overall a very nice experience. I recommend making reservations. They do have seating outside we sat inside this time. read more

Really nice young lady named Sammi, she was so so kind and attentive and truly made our whole experience there that much better. I've ordered from Crush about seven times now through door dash. Each time has been roughly the same order, gluten free pizza, salmon and their meatballs. I'm sure the rest of the menu is delightful however with a gluten allergy I have to be careful what I choose. The salmon is my favorite dish, cooked perfectly with rice and asparagus its always on point. I've been unable to find many good places in Chico, Crush has to be the best in the area. read more

First the restaurant, then the pizza:Crush has one of the nicest spaces in Chico, and a wonderful atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, and the food was made quickly. Given the competition, I'd give it a 9/10 (Great!). Staff were friendly and helpful. To preface, when I visit a restaurant for the first time that serves pizza, I always try the cheese pizza first before branching off towards other options. I find it's a great way to evaluate the basics, like cheeses, sauce and dough. Crush does not have a dedicated cheese pizza on the menu, but they do have a pepperoni, so I requested it without the pepperoni. The cheese pizza I received was good. The ratio of sauce, crust and cheese was balanced. The pizza had the perfect thickness, and it was cooked evenly throughout. The crust tasted good, and the sauce had a subtle, delicate flavor. However, what kept this pie good, and not 'great' was its cheese. The grande mozzarella was delicious, but on its own it lacked dimension. In my humble pizza loving opinion, the addition of provolone (and perhaps some parmesan!) would complete the taste of the pie, and give it the sharper flavor it needs to stand alone. It certainly works well, as I'm from Los Angeles, where many Neapolitan pizzas employ this technique to great effect. Perhaps it could be offered as a separate menu item? Overall, I'll certainly be coming back to Crush. The diverse menu and top notch space makes it a great place to bring a small group. But, I must say, if you tweak that cheese, I'll be coming twice a week (and coughing up that extra star). read more

I've been dining at Crush for a few years now and I make the drive all the way from Redding just to have a nice dinner here. The ambiance, service, drinks and food is great! My go to items: Cesar salad Farmers mule Calamari Crush pizza Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo --make sure you tell you want the sauce thick. I've ordered it once or twice and it was really runny so letting them know that will help ensure it comes out right. Chicken parmigiana I've tried to not eat to much to save room for dessert and it rarely happens but when I have the brownie was DELICIOUS!! PS. I love that I don't have to walk allllll the way down stairs to use the dirty bathrooms. They must've remodeled or opened up the bathrooms upstairs for customers and I absolutely love how cleaner and lit up the bathrooms are. Much appreciated! read more

Crush - Cesar Salad must have - Lounges Near Me - Chico, California

After eating at Crush tonight I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed. I had high hopes for this upscale Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Expectations that had been raised by Crush from previous experiences Ive had over the years. While the ambiance was lovely and the service was decent, the food left much to be desired. The pasta dishes lacked the depth of flavor I was anticipating, it's just not what it us to be. It's a shame, as I was really looking forward to a memorable dining experience. We finally got to go out so I made reservations through Yelp, restaurant confirmed when they opened a couple of days later. Called a couple weeks ahead of my daughters graduation to make sure we could place a large order for pick up to celebrate her graduation at our house. Crush truly outdid themselves with these two items!! My first time eat at crush I ordered the eggplant parm which was so delish I came back and ordered again the same week. This time, I decided to try something different and I am SO glad I did!! The Bolognese homemade slow cooked meat sauce with those soft homemade noodles... and the perfect amount of ricotta and parm on top. Mmm. So warming!! And the white pie, the bread was so fresh and soft with just the right amount of salt. This is my new favorite meal to get here. A little pricey but rightfully so. read more
