This location is in the Promenade at Downey so parking is generally plentiful. I came on a weekday afternoon at 3pm to get some cookies. I went to the ordering kiosk and found both screens out of order, so I went to the register, where someone eventually helped me. My top three choices of cookies were already sold out. Disappointed but not wanting to leave empty handed, I randomly chose one of their weekly specials: the Campfire Skillet Cookie. This is meant to resemble a s'more. The Crumbl website describes it as "a chocolate cookie rolled in graham cracker crumbs...topped with chocolate squares, marshmallow mousse, sprinkles of graham streusel, and a drizzle of melted milk chocolate." My cookie was delicious. I did notice that there were no chocolate squares on top. But all the flavors did remind me of s'mores. The cookie itself was chocolatey but on the dry side so it did easily crumbl(e). This is a very messy & sweet cookie; I've always said there is no such thing as "too sweet" but this came close! read more

My first time there wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Upon going in they had a nice little crowd, the staff was nice and helpful. So my box of 4 cookies $19 was brownie batter, not bad, could use some nuts walnuts, or pecans, . My favorite cookie chocolate chip also could use some nuts walnuts or pecans and cooked a little longer. Next was funnel cake. Kind of like that one crunchy, not sure if it really tasted like funnel cake, but I liked it. Then cake batter thins not too bad either. read more

Closest crumble to me the staff is very nice great experience every time I go. The food is great. I had a couple cookies that weren't so great, but I think that's to be expected because of the flavor. The first time I went our cookies were kind of cold but the second time I went we for sure got a fresh batch. read more

Flavor and quality are there but they're a little messy and disorganized. Every time I grab a box, it's dirty with frosting or some other food. The workers do not talk to the employees and they are awful and honoring curbside pick up. read more

Great cookies. Lots of variety. This is my 2nd time trying crumbl and had a good experience.

I purchased a 4 pack on 9/19 and when we took our first bite of each cookie, we immediately got disappointed that the cookies were insepid to where you cannot even identify the flavor it was supposed to be, (i.e.: the smore brownie lacked the taste of smore or chocolate) and more surprisingly, lacking sweetness as if they were sugar free. My family and I Initially thought it was only one particular flavor but found that it applied to all flavors. It was such a weird letdown since in our minds, Crumbl has always been widely known to make sweet (sometimes too sweet) desserts. The particular batch made on this day definitely did not live up to that. We all thought in the end that there must have been a mishap in making the cookie batter in that particular time. This is meant to provide constructive criticism to ensure quality, and to avoid having this happen again to anyone else. We have always loved Crumbl and so we care enough to leave this review in hopes that this location can learn from this experience and do better next time. read more

Horrible Customer Service!!! Extremely RUDE Employees with Attitude, ESPECIALLY THE FEMALE WITH TATTOOS ON HER ARMS!!! We walked in and all customers were confused because no one knew how to order. Female employee with tattoos on arms was ignoring all customers and will not talk to any customers or help anyone. If it wasn't for a customer that knew the ordering process, we would all been standing around waiting for service and probably just took off without purchasing anything. We asked her for help multiple times and she would just ignore all of the customers. She was extremely rude and had an attitude!!! Another male employee walked in but was no help as well, he ignored customers and was also rude. As for the cookies, they look nothing like the pictures and are average, taste like Panera cookies. The female employee made me wait more than one hour for the cookies & cream brownie (cookie of week), according to her, she was too busy to put a batch in the oven. The store was dirty and the employee refuse to assist customers. Customers walk in and no employee greets you or wants to talk to customers. This is probably the worst customer service I have experienced. Definitely NOT worth the expensive prices they charge for those average cookies. You're basically paying for RUDE service with an ATTITUDE. read more

Crumbl Downey has plenty of parking and depending on the time you go service can be a hit or miss. Today 7/8/25 I came in around 1:20pm and was greeted by a staff who I told I came for an order I placed and a pickup for another person. He asked the names and got the orders to me right away. The store was clean, airy and AC was on point. Presentation of my orders were great compared to past visits from this location and other locations (i.e. slightly sloppy or just tossed inside the box any kind of way). I'm pleased with the service and desserts today. After months of being away from all Crumbls in general I can say this particular location has changed since my last visit -- AND it's for the better! read more

Ahh, a sweet lover's paradise offering a rotating selection of freshly baked cookies with unique flavors each week. I like the modern design look of the shop. It's clean, minimalistic, and focused on what matters most: the cookies. The scent of freshly baked goods fills the air as you walk in. The cookies are oversized, soft, and satisfying and come in a range of flavors from classic chocolate chip to options you may have never tried in a cookie like churro, pink sugar, or chocolate peanut butter pie. The menu changes weekly, so there's always something new to try. The only thing is, if you find a favorite, you might not see it again for a few months. Call it cookie roulette. Service is quick and friendly, and the ordering process is straightforward. You can order in-store and they also have an app you can use for ordering. The cookies are a bit pricey but then they are larger than most. I think it's good for one or two gourmet cookies every once in a while as an indulgent dessert treat. read more

So first off, the strawberry milk! Absolute perfection, it may seem a lil bit dry but the strawberry cream and whipped cream, makes it so FLUFFY! Also I got the cookie dough bites which were so soft and tasty! Brookie is a great combination when you want to enjoy brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. Tres Leches Cake is a spiced cake with biscoff topping and lastly the Sugar cookie taste buttery and delicious!! read more

The customer service was so rude. It was disgusting. Someone needs to have a meeting and I believe the person that answered the phone with someone of importance and that was disgusting on how they handled that phone call. I don't see a visit in a near future. I placed my order at 10:30 in the morning. I didn't go pick it up until about 1:30 and my order was not how I asked for it with no strawberries when I asked her. Why does it have strawberries? She said we don't custom orders and I can pick them off. That's how rude unattended disgusting and disorderly. The customer service was. read more

Love this location!! Always very helpful, have an amazing customer service! Cookies are always very delicious. Will always keep coming back!

The cookies are really thick really good has a lot of flavor is really shareable. One of my favorite cookies is the chocolate chip.

This Crumbl has consistently been the worst location. So messy anytime I'm handed my box it's always dirty and sticky. This team needs to be trained on a proper workflow. Everything is always "sold out" even the morning of a new week. If 5 of the flavor options were sold out I don't know what the point of even being open was. They also never update the status of "baking now" and just say they are sold out for the day like all the other locations do replenish. The staff can't even catch up when none of the iPad to order ever work. New management asap please! read more

I've always heard great things about Crumbl cookies, so when my coworkers surprised me by delivering a party box, I was so ecstatic. If you're a fan of softer, slightly raw cookies, you'll really enjoy these! The flavors at Crumbl change weekly, which is a cool concept, but all the flavors I tried were really good. I liked how they have a variety of flavors which includes both traditional flavors and unique flavors. I would say that in general, the unique flavors taste better than the more traditional cookies. The party box that the cookies come in are really cute and you can also add a bow to your box with a sticker for a special occasion. Because I got these delivered, I can't speak on customer service and ambiance, however, if I'm just going off the cookies themselves, I highly recommend trying them and would get them again in the future! read more
