Unfortunately have to put a bad review only because my daughter was looking forward to this and was turned down. i brought my 11 year old daughter in for her birthday try and obtain her birthday reward. she does not have a app account since she it requires it to be an adult to do so. Cookies are amazing, no doubt about it. I ordered my dozen cookies online @ 2:45 Christmas Eve and head over to pick them up on the way to take them to all of my nieces and nephews. I clicked the I'm here for curbside pick up at about 3:00. They are busy so I figured it'll be a wait. I get out of my car to stand by the door with the other patrons about 3:30 so that the employees don't have to walk to my car. There are 3 different employees bringing boxes of cookies out to customers also waiting. I keep looking at the status on my phone and notice it's not changing. After a couple minutes I start asking the employees of the status. The first 2 never even bothered to come back out, the third was so kind to actually come out to tell me that he can't find my order at 3:55. I tried to be as calm as possible, but there are so many people in line, I'm late to my Christmas dinner, and I can't stand around for another half hour for them to right their wrong. The nice young man said they would replicate my order but said that i would have to wait. No skin off their backs I guess they have plenty of business. I asked for my money back and he said it'll be refunded 5-6 days. At this point I left, but I'm thinking: if they couldn't even find my order how are they going to refund me? We shall see. Thanks for having a terrible ordering system, terrible logistics. Let me offer some advice: maybe only accept online orders during peak times, have a status monitor so your patrons actually can see in real time when their order will be ready so they don't have to wait forever just to find out no one knows what the f is going on. They typically have a line of people when you get there but they're always pretty quick to get you through the line. With locations all over the valley, it's hard not to pass up these cookies! Everytime I drive by a location, I am always tempted to stop by and pick up a box for me and my family. All the stores have the same flavors and they change flavors every week. I googled the menu and now I am getting weekly ads of the new flavors of the week. It is so hard to resist! If there is a week with flavors I am not interested in, I can just wait for the next week for a delicious surprise! Their cookies stay soft for quite a while and this can also be extended by storing them in a tupperware with a slice of bread. The cookies absorb the moisture of the bread and prevents them from becoming stale for a longer period of time. This visit, I got the churro. The frosting on top was very creamy and the cookie itself was so soft with just enough cinnamon sugar. The store is really good at presenting their flavors in a very appealing way as seen in the picture below. read more

During this pandemic, the school I work for wanted to do something nice for the teachers and staff, and the owners and staff at the Arcadia location were quick to jump in and help us with our special surprise. While my experience on 12/23/19 still stands at this store (see original review below), my review has changed and this is fully due to the proactive outreach from the owner Jennifer. She had reached out to me personally to get a better understanding of the entire situation and to moreover explain how she and her team have learned from this experience. To me, this proactive approach speaks volumes and while it doesn't change what happened in the past, it does change my view of this company moving forward especially with Jennifer and her team in Arcadia! Thank you, Jennifer!! The original review was written on 12/28/19: One star for a good product and a horrible service. On 12/16 I placed an order (a variety of 100 small cookies I choose) to be picked up at noon on 12/23. I went into the store on 12/23 to pick up my order and received an apology that I should have been called and that I wasn't going to be getting the variety of cookies I had ordered. I was told this was due to a misplaced order in the proper dough. Then I was told I would need to return later in the day to pick up my order. I ended up visiting the store on 12/23 three separate times to pick up my order (12 pm/4 pm/5 pm) and was told each time my order wasn't ready. They said they could deliver my order, which they did. An order that was placed a week prior to be ready at noon was delivered at 10 pm! To add insult to injury, out of the variety of cookies I ordered, I received two (chocolate chip and gingerbread) and in both large and small sizes. It was clear they gave me whatever they had left in the store (both in variety and size). The owner delivered the cookies, apologized, and gave me a card for free cookies... in hindsight, I should have just said: "Save the card, I won't be a returning customer." Lesson learned: Never pay in advance for an order at this store. read more

Good but not great. I like the fact that everything is fresh and the staff is friendly. Selection of flavors is kinda limited. I do like the frosting on top of certain flavors though the chocolate chip cookie I had barely had any chocolate in it. Worse it wasn't a rich chocolate flavor and didn't have any crunch to it.
