Sweet D got a cherry and an apple turnover delivered into the box. It is five days later. My sugar intake has dropped a lot. In our home baking we cut sugar ingredients by half. Older Hopi bakers put in enough sugar for a hint of sweet in their cookies. Modern bakers glaze them. I'll take those traditional ones. When I say the shortbread cup with custard was too sweet for me, that's my 21st century palate speaking. The almond cup was a buy-again item for me, still sweet, very almond.
