A lady named Flore (owner, manager, family?), saw and scrambled to get us an extra chair and apologized. I said it's not a big deal, and I let my sis and the kids sit first, and I stood at the long high top by them and seriously, I was the same height as them sitting there . Owner proactively kept asking employees to try to find us an extra chair and kept apologizing. I kept saying it's okay, and that's just goes to show how great this place is cuz it's always so busy. While we were waiting, we started chatting and she told us how they named the place after their daughter or granddaughter (I forgot, it was months ago), and how she hoped they stay busy after initial "hype" dies down that happens with a lot of new restaurants. I told her I don't think they have anything to worry about, and feel like this place is not just going to be a trend. She really was the sweetest lady. We later found a larger table and moved over. As for the food, the schnitzel and thick French toast were amazing. Baked eggs was great. Coffee drinks were great. We already decided we would come back to try more items, then Flore came up and handed us a small gift card for our troubles. I honestly didn't expect it. They didn't really do anything wrong, but that was just so sweet of her! We have gone back many times for brunch in the following months. The hype has not died down. The lines are still out the door. Following visits, we tried their cocktails as well and they are all good. We used our gift card for a pastry and coffee. People are always kind and genuinely seem happy here (it's a big thing if you want your day to start off good!) It's always a wonderful experience here. Only thing that's hard...
