They said it was a lifetime warranty on items, etc. which they lied about and also cameras were not included with the plan even though they said they were I had to pay extra for a plan for those. Basing this review off the interaction we had with a representative today named Jaxson. We've had Brinks installed for a couple of years now and apparently he came to my home without notice to introduce himself as he was taking over my region and wanted to review my system. I was not home when he initially arrived and him and my mother exchanged words as she didn't feel comfortable inviting him in. He wasn't able to provide any information that he was legitimate which added to her concerns. I was able to speak to him as he was leaving and didn't appreciate the way he continually brought up how my mother was rude to him. She's older and there's strange men coming to our home unannounced. He lied and said he called me yesterday but i never received a miss call or voicemail advised me of a visit. I just wish he was more professional in his approach and understanding of our concerns. We're already customers, there's no need to pop up randomly at my home and expect to be greeted without caution. I also called and expressed my concerns to the office but the person i spoke with didn't seem to care at all. We are looking to switch companies at this point. read more

Commercial and Residential Security Services Limited CRS Services Limited) is an authorized dealer of Brink's Home Security. A representative from this company installed a home security in my current place of residence. However, I signed a binding contract documents under false pretenses and misrepresentation of the contract. June 27th was the first day CRS Services Limited came to my door, implemented the first phase to install the in house security system, and I signed the contract that day. The representative I was corresponding with is Nick (Nicholas) Zopfi, Advertising Director. Mr. Zopfi vaguely explained the contract with a small iPad mini that did not allow clarity to the fine details. I specifically asked Mr. Zopfi "What is the cancellation policy is? How long do I have to cancel the contract?". Mr. Zopfi answered "30 Days, no problem". Within this conversation Mr. Zopfi verbalized that I may cancel at any time without any penalties. This false reassurance is what allowed me to move forward with this deal. I proceeded to electronically sign the contract. Unbeknownst to me, I was being deceived. June 28th a representative technician returned to my residence to continue installment of the security equipment. There was a needed installment in my garage and bedroom. On this second day of installment, I was not using the security system in its complete capacity. I was awaiting complete and final installment of the security equipment within my place of residence. At the end on the evening, the technician finally showed me step by step instructions to using the in house security systems. He also explained the iPhone applications that connected with my personal phone. I inquired with the technicians' details of my contract, however he was unable to answer them because Mr. Zopfi is the advertising director responsible to questions regarding the contract. June 29th was the actual first day that I was able to turn on and turn off my security system. During the first day of installation and (Saturday June 29th) I did not have complete access to fully determine if I was satisfied with the home installation provided by Mr. Zopfi. On June 30th, I checked my iPhone applications security system footage. I notice that the outdoor security camera that was installed onto my garage corner was no long working. It completely blacked out and I was not able to reload the imagery. The contract was signed June 27th 2019 and on July 22nd, I attempted to call to cancel my services. I was told that services cannot be canceled since the allotted grace period was three days and not thirty days as I was told by Mr. Zopfi. Because of this, I am unable to cancel my contract. I am completely baffled by the unprofessionalism displayed by this company as it was explained that I was allowed the first three days of my contract to cancel voluntary from the first day effective by the contract date. I would have never agreed to signing a contract with the understanding that I would be locked into a contract within three days. I made multiple attempts to speak to head administrators and I have been given the run around with the same tag line "you have exceeded the three-day grace period and is now locked into contract". As much as I have tried to communicate that I signed the documents under false pretenses and misrepresentation of the contract, CRS Services Limited has continued to give me push back and are not taking consideration that I signed the contract without clear understanding and under false pretenses of the contract. read more

All I wanted to do was to cancel my contract as I'm moving out of state. My tenants on my house and I didn't agree on the alarm system. I want this alarm system out and be done with CRS. Called CRS Services and got put on hold. Someone picks up and confused to why I was on hold. Well, explained my situation again. Adam (who I spoke to was very pleasant). He explained to me that I would have to pay out the remaining of my contract. This means my contract is 2 more years therefore, I would have to pay the remaining monthly of that 2 years. I was like, whatever I'll eat this up for the next year until I sell my house. Adam tells me that he'll talk to his supervisor and see what he can do. He told me he'll call me back within 20 mins. Welp, that didn't happen. Called me back 4 hours later. Adam said they can't do anything but the best they could do is to give me a $100 Starbucks Gift card if I write a good review about them. Avoid!! I can't even think of where to start. The salesman Donny is on another level of shady like a con artist. The sales pitch goes from free this and free that but oh don't tell your neighbors the deal we are giving you. Now for the technician Luis... talk about being late for your own funeral type of guy. Had a noon appointment which I get a phone call an hour after saying he's on his way. Ended up showing up 7 hours late. I won't even go into the following appointments. Save yourself and find a legitimate company. My new provider fixed the botched wiring from the previous tech and finished the job in only 2 hours. Horrible, dishonest, they will sweet talk you to sign on to a long term contract, then omit important details such as; moving procedure to relocate equipment and associated fees. When we signed on fir the service, we informed the agent that signed is up for alarm service that wr intended to move and asked if there were fees or penalties. To which he replied "Nope, just tell us and we will relocate your system free of charge and your contract will continue onward, without starting over. We have moved and the process to transfer our system to our new residence, isn't as easy as promised. There are fees involved and we are being told by MONI that since we are a Tier 1 customer, our contract will start as a new 36 month contract after the system is relocated. These are all details that we were not privy to and were not disclosed to us after 3 meetings with the CRS representative whereby we did address these issues and specifically asked about moving the service. We were mislead and now, we have been without our alarm system for 2 weeks, the equipment is scheduled to arrive next Thursday and then we still have to wait for someone to be dispatched to install it. So we are looking at 1 month of paying for an security alarm system that we do not have. We told that we were supposed to have taken the equipment with us when we moved, something that we were not told about. Horribly frustrating company, we called the person that signed us up for the service and he said doesn't work there anymore, said we should come see him if we need a used car. The office staff take everything as a silly amusement, they engage in avoidance tactics - Ahmed and condescension Lewis. Ugh!! Horrible waste of money and energy. This business falls short of quality and reliability. Worse part of it is that the men in that office don't listen and talk over you and dismiss concers. Bad experience with this company. New alarm service through Brinks which outsourced the install work to CRS. We've had a price of equipment not connecting for the start. Multiple attempts to have it fixed and were given many different excuses as to why it wasn't something they could fix- contradicting other explanations given on previous calls. Brinks approved the addition of a new piece of equipment to help solve the problem but the tech that was sent out, Chris, denied the necessity of it and said they can't approve it. He is terrible in customer service and will give you the runaround to avoid spending extra time or money on your install- attempting the quickest, simple fixes only. This organization markets itself as Brinks employees, but make no mistake, they are not. The charge far more than the Brinks security plan and provide inferior service. They are condescending and dismissive of any concerns about their products or behavior, and don't seem to realize that the only real advantage they have on their competitors is their service. They overcharge and under-deliver, and randomly send people to your house for "service calls" that you didn't schedule in the middle of the workday (sounds like something a reputable security company would do, right?)-because your time has no value to them. If you want a security company that tells you you will have 10,000 video clips but only get 1,000 and all video recordings stop on a Friday night at 11pm and you are SOL until they decide to reopen on Monday, this company is for you. If you want to call a security company during their normal business hours at 9am but get a message - we are having maintenance issues until 12 and get an answering machine - this company is for you. He was a little late and a lot stoned!! We ended up with our house broken into 3x with no response following the first event. Last Thursday, We wanted to cancel service because we had sold our house. We found out we had fallen about 3 months behind on our monthly payment and it was sent to a collection agency in Texas. (Hillcrest, Davidson, & associates L.L.C.). HD & Associates took our bank information provided by CRS and withdrawal $3003.40. Completely unauthorized!!! We are pressing charges in this criminal matter. Unacceptable! I called inquiring about their sales practices as i had a strange encounter with someone at my door claiming to be from CRS. Note that I can't be sure if this person was from CRS. It was after dark and he wasn't wearing a uniform. I couldn't see a logo on his shirt. I deduced he was impersonating in order to gain entry into my home. So my review isn't going to touch upon that experience as it isn't pertinent, in my opinion. If it were, it would be a 1 star review. This is strictly about the phone call. I called asking about their sales practices, how their sales people dress etc... I explained why i was asking these questions and the guy on the phone acted like I was wasting his time. Note that the moment he answered the phone, he seemed rude and disinterested in talking with anyone. He mumbled when he answered. So much so that I wasn't sure I reached the right office at first. Personally, if someone called my business and informed me that there was someone out there impersonating my sales people in order to force themselves into people's homes, I would be concerned. His tone made it pretty clear that he didn't care that either his salesperson was so disrespectful and rude that he came off like he was a criminal who wanted to break into my home and do God only knows what and rang the doorbell like a maniac over and over and over again after dark, or that someone out there was using his business name to dupe women into opening the door for him. If it is, in fact, the latter. Of course, it's not his fault. However, if it were my business, I would be concerned and want to reach out to the police and the media to spread awareness about this incident so that people would be aware of the scam. I have been having huge issues with this company since it was installed months ago. They did not set my system up correct, forgot to install window sensors and multiple other issues I will bring up. I wish I could give this company 0 stars for the lack of respect and actually caring about providing security system that works. I have a Moni system and Ring cameras that never work. I have been dealing with camera issues since the day they installed them. I go on my app to look at my cameras to check on my house ( I have 3 cameras) every time I open them the screens are black and live view never works. They alert me for motion maybe 50% of the time if I'm lucky. I have had CRS send technicians out to my house multiple times to "fix" them with no progress. I had a break in attempt at my house where the power was cut and my entire security system went down (the backup battery didn't kick in because it wasn't set up properly) I was pressing the police button on my system to get help and that didn't send any signal out so no-one came until I could find my phone and call 911 myself. I also had 3 guys break into my car and my cameras were not working as usual. Thank God for my neighbors security system picking it up and them calling the cops. (They were arrested) I have been dealing with Louis the manager, he is the most disrespectful person I have ever encountered. I was very patient and calm when I called the first couple times I asked him for help because the system wasn't working properly. He would always say ok I will figure something out and call you back. A week goes by no phone call. I call for a week straight and get the "he's in a meeting" "He's not in" excuses. So finally 2 weeks later I get ahold of him and he tells me I have to pay 1500 for a new camera system because the one they installed is "unreliable" and he wouldn't recommend it. Really. So obviously I was upset and denied that new system he wanted me to pay for out of pocket. He then started to blame me for the issues I was having with my system saying I am just emotional because I'm pregnant... Oh I'm sorry I don't feel safe in my own home due to your system failing multiple times when I needed help. He even told my husband that deploys that I was emotional and none of this is his issue and that the system is in our house and staying there and that he won't do anything to help. He has treated us like our safety doesn't matter one bit and all he cares about is making us pay every month. So after all this my husband wants to cancel because we are paying $70 a month for security and a piece of mind for my husband that I am safe while my he is deployed and that service isn't being provided by CRS, Louis told us too bad if we cancel we will have to pay the remaining 2 years on our contract. What a joke. I have never been more disappointed in a security system in my life. I have always had a system in every house I have lived in and I decided to give this company a try when we bought this house. This is by far the worst company. I have been a customer for over 2 years being bullied the whole time. My husband finally called and talked with the manager as I had been for years and when he hung up asked me "that's how they've been talking to you this whole time?!" Will show up to your house randomly soon after you move in and try and talk their way inside. They told me my neighbor had just purchased brinks and they wanted to use us as model houses for the systems. I doubt this is true as they said they would be back the next day for the neighborhood but haven't been back. The solicitor claimed they were from brinks, wore a brinks shirt , and had brinks signs and products. They never once mentioned CRS in their spiel. The only way I found out was the caller Id of their phone had CRS and they hard credit pulled me for services before the technician who was " finishing a neighbors house" came over.
