For instance, Steve went over our potential system, explained the potential output, maintenance, and any concerns we had about installation. Robco also made it a point to not disway us from shopping around; he actually encouraged me to have the meeting and gave us ample time to consider options. I found that so refreshing and it told me they were confident in the value they provided. Once I notified him that we were gonna go with them, the inspectors were out making sure the breaker box and roof were OK. Everyone was so nice and considerate to the point where I didn't feel like I had to be home the whole time. Once that is done, Steve quickly notified me of our install date before later receiving an email with the offical details. Day of installation, Alfonso and his crew continued the trend of being thoughtful and nice. From beginning to end the solar installation was done within two days, and at the end of each a progress update was provided. Alfonso also let me know that somebody would be out to paint the piping alongside my house and when the final inspection would be conducted. Be careful with this company, they will try to upsell you to buy more than you need. I recommend to get EVERYTHING in writing & read over it carefully. I already had a solar system and I called them to install one battery for backup in case of a power outage. They convinced me to get three batteries by saying "it will keep you completely off the grid by storing the solar power during the day & using the batteries at night". That was blatantly false as three batteries don't last past 8PM, then I'm back using Nevada Power as before. Steve was my main contact & he did a really poor job of explaining the system, he basically just threw the owner's manual to me and said "read this". It's been nearly a full year with my solar system being operational, so I just like to give an update. I highly commend Robco, because the solar system production is very close to what they've estimated when they gave me the project proposal more than 1 year ago in Aug 2024. They estimated 9.7 MWh annual production, and as of today with only 2 more days to go, my system produced 9.6 MWh, and most likely would be very close to 9.7 MWh, especially if adding in the next two days, since the monitoring software only gives decimals to the first place. I did a decent amount of researched before choosing solar installer. Got 6 quotes and calculated cost per KW and I can tell you Robco wasn't the cheapest nor longest warranty. That being said I also checked Nevada contractor board complaints/violations, BBB and online reviews. It doesn't matter if u have a workmanship lifetime warranty on a product if the company isnt going to be around and with solar rebates coming to an end, how many solar companies are gonna be around ( sadly ) so we considered the fact Robco isn't only a solar company. In the summer of 2022, my wife and I relocated from a condo in the Los Angeles area to a 4-year-old house that we bought in Henderson, NV. Among the numerous changes we decided to make to our new home, we knew that we wanted to get a solar energy system installed. After doing some research on companies that offer solar panel installation, we narrowed our search down to three and met with a representative from each company. We were favorably impressed with the presentations and proposals from two of them, but in the end, we selected Robco Electric for two reasons: (1) Their proposal seemed to offer a better system for roughly the same cost, and (2) their representative, solar consultant Steven Araneta, clearly had a great deal of expertise, which was also true of Robco Electric. We are extremely happy that we chose Robco Electric. They walked us through the process of securing the necessary inspections, permits, and approvals from our HOA, the city, and NV Energy, and after we waited impatiently for our scheduled installation, everything came together without a hitch. The installers -- Danny, Marck, and Gregorio, under the supervision of Ricardo Acevedo -- did a fantastic job. They were courteous, neat, friendly, professional, and happy to answer all of our questions before and during the actual installation of the solar panels and the additions to our electrical system. We had no idea they were there, so we thought there had been a power outage in our area. Happily for us, this did not result in anything more than a brief inconvenience, plus Robco was not to blame -- and we are now delighted every time we look at the app on our mobile phones that shows us how much power we are generating. Our neighbor hired Robco Electric to install solar on their two-story house. We live next door in a single story, flat roofed house. During the installation, we regularly found their installation supplies and tools in our yard, which had clearly either been thrown off or had fallen off the neighbor's second story roof during the solar installation. Not very impressive, but just a minor annoyance. However, shortly after their installation was complete, we discovered that one of our solar panels was broken. Upon inspection, it was clear that the break was caused by the impact of the heavy duty drill bit we found on our roof near the broken panel. The only way this could have happened was for the drill bit to have fallen from above, which lead us to the conclusion that it was being used by Robco Electric while installing the neighbor's solar system. We contacted Robco Electric, explained the situation, and asked them to pay for the replacement solar panel. They sent a representative to our house who inspected the damage and stated that the damage-causing drill bit found on our roof was indeed the type they use. He said someone would contact us. It is now 3 months later and no one has contacted us. My husband just called Robco Electric again and was again told someone would contact us. We shall see... Someone did call us back. Robco Electric has agreed to reimburse us for the cost of replacing the solar panel. Hopefully a check will be forthcoming. read more

So, I can finally write a review as I am officially live with my solar system. What can I say that's not already written on the endless list of 5* reviews - so I won't go into too much detail but will highlight some of the standout items to me. First and foremost, thank you to everyone at Robco Electric that I interacted with (Krystal, Ricardo and the rest of his installation team) from beginning to the end of my solar installation. Before I do any work for anything, I always read reviews. From the beginning I knew I was likely going to end up going with Robco, but of course I entertained many door-to-door sales to learn about the current technologies (it's been about 10 years since my last consultation at my other home). Almost all of the competitors overinflated what you "need" for your setup, some mislead or tell partial truths, and some were just flat out pushy. It was truly refreshing to have none of that with Krystal (my sales rep). Quite honestly, because of the differing estimate that Krystal had provided in comparison to ALL of the others - it made me doubt the work that was going to be done. If fact, I requested a few more panels to future-proof the home :) Anyway, Krystal was an absolute pleasure to speak with. The solar panels were installed in December 2023. The unit was hooked up in January 2024. It has been producing electricity since then. May 2024 I had my AC guys come out for a service and found out that one of the AC units didn't have power. We called Robco at 9:34; they took a look at the panel pictures that they had and figured out what the issue was (wire problem at the breaker). Robco had a guy at my door by 10:20 and fixed a few (3) minutes later. Totally responsive to an issue I was having. I don't know how other electric companies respond but "We'll be there in 20 minutes to fix the issue" was great to hear! What a great company to work with. I reviewed multiple request for proposals (RFP) for my solar project for a net new build in Summerlin. I reviewed solar proposals from Robco Electric, Ion Solar and Sol-Up. Sol-Up uses Panasonic solar panels with Solar Edge Optimizers. What that means is if the Solar Edge solar optimizer goes out in your solar array, then you are dead in the water with NO solar generation. So I crossed Sol-Up off my list. Robco Electric Uses Enphase Energy Microinverters, which means if one if one of the microinverters goes bad, then all solar panels are generating electricity except for that one bad microinverter. That was a huge plus to me, as Enphase is the leader in solar technology. The next part of the review is the panels. Ion Solar offers Enphase Microinverters but with SilFab panels, where Robco Electric offers Enphase Microinverters with LG Neon panels. While SilFab and LG are great companies, LG makes a superior solar panel with more power generation. I have limited roof space, so the panel that can produce the most electricity was one of the most important parts of my decision making process. Why Robco Electric: Reviews: Robco Electric had a perfect score on Yelp reviews. 5 out of 5 on Yelp and 4.8 on Google Reviews. Ion Solar had 2.5 on Yelp and 4.5 on Google Reviews. I trust Yelp more than Google Reviews. To get a perfect score on Yelp means Robco Electric is willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. If you are spending thousands of dollars, then you need a partner that will be there with you for LIFE of the solar panels. You need a company with good reviews. Presales - I had Ms. Mason as my Sales Rep. She just started with Robco Electric and didn't know much about solar, but she had Jeremy who was an expert at the solar configurations and questions. She was very responsive in the presales process (getting questions answered and preparing budgetary estimates), but lacked in the post sales process when I needed assistance such as a small refund. She was honest and straight forward, and didn't over promise on the quote unlike other companies that promised more than what could be done through electrical requirements. One thing to note, Robco Electric includes bird guard for the solar panels as part of their budgetary estimate and Ion Solar did not. I think this is huge because you don't want birds building a nest or pooping on your roof. Installation Team - You can have a great solar company, but if you have a bad installation team, then it is pointless to select them. Mike was the Lead Installer and Tyson was the Project Manager to make sure everything went smoothly. I am OCD, and I am sure I was super annoying to them, but they installed all the equipment perfectly to my OCD requirements. Both were excellent at answering questions, and installing the solar panels as specified by the roof diagram and the blue tape diagram inside the garage. A major shout out to Installation Team. Post Installation / Customer Support - What is the point of spending thousands of dollars on expensive solar panels if there is no customer support? HAVE NO FEAR! They got Brittany, who is a ROCK STAR at Customer Support. I had a bad panel and some broken tiles. Brittany was extremely responsive via email, and resolved my issues successfully by replacing the bad panel and broken tiles. I feel confident in Brittany in providing any support to me in the future. Owner - The owner is Rob. He was personable, and easy to talk to about some non solar, electrical questions. He was willing to have an electrician sent to my house just to help me out with my personal electrical needs at no cost. Overall, without doubt and without hesitation, Robco Electric is the best solar company to partner with. I had my solar system for 6 months and everything works flawlessly. For reference, I pay $13.31 a month for electricity (connection fee only) and have a 5 bedroom house with 4170 sq ft. That is amazing savings! After doing a lot of research on my own it was clear Robco was the best choice for my solar job. Steven was very friendly and professional. He has been a solar consultant for quite some time, he really knew his solar stuff. The thing I loved is Robco is not out to pressure you. Steven clearly and confidently explained the whole process and cost. He then left us with the information and said to contact Robco back if we decided to move forward with the project. Obviously we decided to go with them. The install crew was as awesome as Steven. Showed up on time everyday and just got after it, they barely took breaks! They communicated effectively, letting us know everything that was happening and when they would need to access the attic. Robco prides themselves on neatness and professionalism. Robco will not leave your roof covered in wires and metal conduit like most of the other companies. They ran all the lines through the attic and color matched and painted all the equipment on the side of the house. I recently had solar panels installed at my home. It was overwhelming to start off and there are so many companies. I got a lot of quotes from pushy salesmen but Robco was so easy. They did everything over the phone and sent a full estimate with all the details. Rok was my salesperson and he was very easy to talk to. I decided to go with Robco because they are a local company and have been around for over 20 years. On the day of install the project foreman Ricardo Acevedo came and introduced himself and explained the estimated time and how the project would go. He was very transparent and friendly. The team would start at 730am which was early but this was December so they did not have much daylight time to work with. The whole thing took 3 days and I was super happy with the work. Once the net metering was confirmed, Rok came back to go over the app and collect the final payment. He was very accessible throughout the project and even after the whole thing was done. Robco was definitely the better value of the other companies I compared before the project. Price was not the cheapest but I feel very happy with the price I paid knowing that I got good quality from a local company. I recently had Robco install solar at my house. Overall very satisfied with their work! I would recommend one to consider Robco for solar install. I had received several solar installer bids and by far Robco was the most qualified. The representative was knowledgeable and acted more as a consultant than a pushy sales person. Robco also does commercial work and it shows in their professionalism and the quality of their work. From explaining the overall solar process of correctly sizing the solar system, using quality components, documentation such as detailed installation plans, explaining the IRA federal tax credit, and taking care of all the city permitting. I only had to manage my HOA as far as notification. Robco bid amount was in the middle and reasonable. The lowest bidder proposal quality was not as through as Robco's. I had a much better feeling that Robco would deliver. After all its a big investment. My solar system is up an running and very happy with the results! PS - One checklist is to look-up the contractors license on the state website and check that it is current. In addition you can see any pending litigation and filed complaints. read more

Wow! I can't say enough about Robco. After meeting with many companies and getting many quotes, we decided to go with Robco for our Solar. They were prompt and answered any questions we had before we even signed our contract. After the contract was signed, they didn't "disappear" and leave things to the installers like so many other companies do. Chelsey was there every step of the way from signing the contract, to roof inspections, power box inspections, and solar install. She kept us informed constantly. The installers were amazing! They were on time every morning at 7am, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves daily. After install, I was called again by Robco for a tentative inspection. The gentleman checked the grounds to make sure everything looked good, checked the roof for any broken tiles, and checked the upgraded power box just to be sure it was all ready for NVEnergy to inspect.
