Very professional and excellent communication. Highly recommend for solar installation.

This is one of those reviews where (if possible), I'd give Robco Electric more than five stars on their Solar installation / service. We did a lot of research before we pulled the trigger on Solar. We did a deep dive on leasing versus purchasing, equipment differences and post installation service. We had actually contracted with a different firm, but after we found out the sales rep misrepresented the equipment they were going to install - we cancelled. After that, we reached-out to two other companies - one of which was Robco. After comparing all of the metrics as well as the reviews, we ended up purchasing a system from Robco. From the presentation and design with Jorge, through the approval process with our HOA, to obtaining permits, they were on top of it all. We initially met with Jorge on May 12th. All approvals were obtained and Mike and his installation crew showed up on May 26th. These guys actually showed up early and worked like a well greased machine. The job was completed by mid afternoon, including the painting of conduit and solar emergency shut-off to match the stucco on my home. They even left me with extra roof tiles in case we needed them in the future. After the installation, the building inspector scheduled time to come by and sign-off on the permit. Of course, there were no problems there. The funny thing was that I can be a bit chatty and in talking to the inspector, he stated in summary that if he were were going to put solar on his personal home - or needed an electrical repair, Robco is the one company he would call. I thought that was quite an endorsement. That last installation piece was for NV Energy to come out and replace the meter with one that can export unused solar energy back out to the grid; that was done on June 18th. From start to finish, Jorge, Mike and all of the guys at Robco exceeded our expectations. We would wholeheartedly recommend them for your Solar (or electrical repair) needs. read more

I got three other competing quotes before choosing Robco Electric, and I'm really glad I went with them. Chelsey was my consultant and she was extremely helpful throughout the process. She provided lots of information, answered my questions clearly, and made everything feel straightforward instead of overwhelming. Armando and his crew did the installation and they were excellent -- the install was completed in just 2 days, and everything was done in a clean, professional, and organized way. The workmanship looked solid and they left everything neat when they finished. Overall, great experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Robco Electric if you're considering solar. read more

I recently added two panels to my solar system. Robco was very helpful and professional. Explained the process at each step, contacted me after each step was completed and let me know the next step to be completed. I have nothing but good to say about this company. Robco Electric is a locally based installer that has been in business in Las Vegas since 1997. Robco has an A+ BBB rating but with only 2 reviews. Both reviewers rated Robco as excellent, 5 of 5. Robco has a Yelp score of 4.7, based on 272 reviews. I was impressed by the enthusiasm any of the positive Robco reviews. We decided to go with Robco Electric, mostly because of their raving online reviews. Robco installs Q Cells panels, manufactured by a Korean company (I don't know if they use parts made in China). Their price was in line with the other installers with just over $24,000 upfront cost, with a net cost of just over $17,000 after the 30% federal tax credit. Our payback period was computed as 7 years, 11 months. I'm not sure we'll be living here long enough to realize the benefit, but supposedly solar panels add about 4% to the selling price of a home. Robco installed our panels just over two years ago, and after installation of the two-way meter and the Nevada Power inspection we were generating electric power and selling our excess back to the grid. Our system is rated at 8075Kwh, so we paid $3.02/Kwh before the tax credit, $2.11/Kwh after the credit. Since Nevada Power has been very aggressive about raising rates, our payback period will be somewhat less than estimated, which is great, I guess. I recently contacted Robco to see how they were doing. Their office manager was optimistic that the the "Big Beautiful Bill" eliminating the credit for solar installations would not destroy their business. He stated that even without the tax credit, solar was still justified in Las Vegas, since we get so much sun. read more

Robco always treat me well. They installed my solar panel and pigeons guard close to 10yrs ago. I called them last week about the pigeons problem. They came in yesterday with Preventivd Pest Control to clean, fix, and reinstalled the pigeons guard again. I call this a great customer service and great company. Hopefully, I can finally say "Bye Bye Pigeons". read more

This has been the best upgrade to our home to date and we are beyond pleased with the service we received from Robco. The entire process was seamless and stress free. There was never any type of pressure involved as they have a transparent and direct sales approach. We were kept informed in a very timely manner of each step in the process and the entire project was completed on time! The installation crew was World Class. Professional, efficient, and the work area was cleaner than when the crew arrived. We are extremely satisfied customers. read more

I have spent months researching all the solar companies, their material, labor, complains, price, warranty etc.. I concluded Robco by far the best option due its quality work, amazing customer service and free of charge high end caging, wiring the cables through the attic and hiding it etc.. nobody else offered it and when I asked others they demanded additional 2800 dollars. My sales guy (Adam 619-368-4636 ) was top of everything. I got 25 years warranty and very happy to get rid of my electric bill. read more

New to Las Vegas, we chose Robco to do our Solar Installation after reading many outstanding reviews on them. WE CHOSE CORRECTLY! From our sale representative, Adam, the electricians on the job lead by, Juan, everything was first class. They have come by now and then to upgrades and computer updatesat no additional cost as they keep track of our solar performance all the time. Very highly recommend Robco Electric for your Solar needs and if we ever have electrical needs, they will be our first call. read more

All of these reviews are spot on and in the end, I'm so glad I picked Robco. Let's be honest, those pushy door-to-door salesman are just that, salesman. Unfortunately, it's only a business for them. Get your business, get paid, goodbye. I actually called out Robco a year before I made my decision. Rok came out, gave me a break breakdown of the equipment, spec sheet, prices and the design/layout, company info etc. He left. No follow up, no pressure to sign. Fast forward a year with more of those wonderful salesman and fantastic energy rate increases in-between. I texted Rok for an updated quote and pulled the trigger. They changed the brand of panels from Solaria to Hanwha Q-cells which I was happy about as I was deep in a solar wormhole. (I can't be the only one...) I did my due diligence with every company that stopped by. Reviews, Google/Yelp, and the most important one is BBB. I found robco to be the highest rated and a long, successful track record. Which was a huge factor in my decision. After 15 months of having solar, I've had zero issues with the system. Texted Rok a few times with random questions, always a quick and professional response. We met my one year production expectation per the contract and I couldn't be happier. Shout-out to Armondo and Ivan and the other guys for kicking ass on the actual install. They were very professional and just fun to hangout with and watch them work. As a mechanic myself, I appreciate people who really enjoy and care about their work. And it shows. From the solar panel layout on the roof, (solar placement very even and aesthetically pleasing on my roof) to the panels on the side of the house and garage. To the simple questions about my preference on things during the install. 10/10 will hire them again read more

Be careful with this company, they will try to upsell you to buy more than you need. I recommend to get EVERYTHING in writing & read over it carefully. I already had a solar system and I called them to install one battery for backup in case of a power outage. They convinced me to get three batteries by saying "it will keep you completely off the grid by storing the solar power during the day & using the batteries at night". That was blatantly false as three batteries don't last past 8PM, then I'm back using Nevada Power as before. Steve was my main contact & he did a really poor job of explaining the system, he basically just threw the owner's manual to me and said "read this". I am very disappointed with Robco electric and would not recommend this company, ps: I have filed a complaint with the contractor's board, but I have not heard back as of yet. read more

Wow, wow! Brandon M and Jacy Sparkman delivered exceptional service from start to finish. They were incredibly courteous -- we have a baby at home and request no doorbell so the dogs won't bark and wake him. Brandon waited in the hot sun, knocking softly but frequently enough so I'd notice he was outside. When I opened the garage, he clearly set expectations that Jacy would arrive shortly and they'd investigate the issue. Together, they studied the wiring, unplugged and tested workflows, and repeated the process until they were confident in the fix. Their approach was meticulous and safe, ensuring no one got hurt. They also communicated each step and their thought process so I always knew what was happening. I trusted them enough to leave for an appointment, and they even called me once everything was resolved. Brandon and Jacy are smart, swift, and solutions-driven. Well done, you two! Leadership should give you a bonus -- I will be telling everyone to go with RobCo because of your outstanding service. read more

I did a LOT of research before deciding on a Solar company. While the technology is fantastic, this industry is littered with scammers and bad actors, so it took me 5 years before I pulled the trigger. I nearly signed a contract with Solar Optimum, but they had a non-disparagement clause buried in their contract that basically said you would forfeit your 25 year warranty if you said anything bad about them online. So, you can't trust their reviews. Robco was referred to me by a friend. I could not have imagined a better experience. The contract is like 4 pages and everything was 100% straightforward. They did exactly what they said they'd do and they did it exactly when they said they would. I worked with Chelsea, who is just awesome. Also, not to mention, I now have a power station on my roof that is cranking out close to 30% more than I am consuming. My monthly spend is less than it was when I paid NV Electric. Zero regrets. read more

I did a decent amount of researched before choosing solar installer. Got 6 quotes and calculated cost per KW and I can tell you Robco wasn't the cheapest nor longest warranty. That being said I also checked Nevada contractor board complaints/violations, BBB and online reviews. It doesn't matter if u have a workmanship lifetime warranty on a product if the company isnt going to be around and with solar rebates coming to an end, how many solar companies are gonna be around ( sadly ) so we considered the fact Robco isn't only a solar company. Once we talked to Adam, we were sold !! Do yourself a favor and talk to Adam before deciding on any solar company ! You'll see what I mean ! read more

Without hesitation, I was informed that they would be GIVING me two (2) more panels for FREE!!! This proactive posture sealed the deal in my mind! Robco Electric - MY ROBCO ELECTRIC INC. SOLAR PANELS - Solar Installation Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Amazing experience with Robco Electric! After listening to a few door knockers regarding solar I was curious enough to ask my neighbor which company they used for their solar and Robco was it. I reached out to them via Yelp and immediately received a reply from Jorge. Instantly I had an email with a wealth of information more so than the door knocker sales people who spoke to me about their solar. After meeting with Jorge it was an easy decision to go with Robco. They made everything so easy and simple and Jorge is very knowledgeable having been an installer himself prior to his position now. Waiting for the HOA approval took longer than the install and NVenergy to switch the meter. For the price I paid for our whole system I'm definitely glad to have chosen Robco. Thanks to Jorge for making things happen and thanks to Alfonso, Juan, Josh, David and Bryant for installing and getting the system up and running safely and swiftly! read more

I highly recommend Robco for your solar needs. From the first phone call, any questions I had about solar was treated with great consideration and was later provided by Steve. For instance, Steve went over our potential system, explained the potential output, maintenance, and any concerns we had about installation. Robco also made it a point to not disway us from shopping around; he actually encouraged me to have the meeting and gave us ample time to consider options. I found that so refreshing and it told me they were confident in the value they provided. Once I notified him that we were gonna go with them, the inspectors were out making sure the breaker box and roof were OK. Everyone was so nice and considerate to the point where I didn't feel like I had to be home the whole time. Once that is done, Steve quickly notified me of our install date before later receiving an email with the offical details. Day of installation, Alfonso and his crew continued the trend of being thoughtful and nice. From beginning to end the solar installation was done within two days, and at the end of each a progress update was provided. Alfonso also let me know that somebody would be out to paint the piping alongside my house and when the final inspection would be conducted. After that, it was just waiting on Nevada power to change out my meter which also was faster than anticipated. Overall, I would highly recommend Robco. From the answering of the phone, setting up the appointments, the installation and inspection crew - you cannot go wrong in choosing Robco! read more

Looking to do solar panels? Robco Electric would be a great choice. They're well established in southern Nevada and a solid company. I've researched and talked to several companies over the years and have generally not been impressed. Robco's field rep Krystal was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Krystal's information and depth of experience even helped us plan out other efficiencies with the electric usage of the home, beyond just solar. After HOA approvals and the permit process, installation began. The installation team of Ricardo, Carlos, Danny and Mark we're on site the better part of 4 1/2 days due to winds and rain - but completed the job in as efficient and professional manner as we could have asked for. They answered questions and were super nice to deal with. Still waiting on final inspections before the system can go live, but everything up to this point has gone as good as we could expect. Their attention to detail, long term experience in the business and being a local company makes it a no brained to recommend using Robco Electric! read more

Robco is the way to go for solar panels in Las Vegas! I spent almost two months researching solar panel companies all around Las Vegas, and I am super happy that I didn't go with anyone else. Let me break it down: First, I visited Sol-Up. They were good in the sense that they have a physical showroom where you can see the kinds of systems and equipment you'd actually get on your roof - which is helpful. However, I felt their sales approach was pretty pushy, and honestly, Ion Solar was even worse - very aggressive and borderline harassing, in my opinion. I got quotes and compared about 10 different solar panel systems with different companies, and I even ran the numbers myself. Every time, Robco came out on top for price, reviews, and quality of materials. Another big reason I chose Robco is because they're not just a solar panel company - they're a long-standing, known electrical company. That gave me confidence that if something happens 10 years down the line, I'll still have someone to call. Many solar-only companies might not even be around that long. With my two months of experience from planning to installation to support after the install , I have to give a huge thanks to Adam. He made everything so much easier and was professional, kind, and always willing to help. Robco is lucky to have him! If you're thinking about getting solar panels, do your research ,but trust me, you'll likely end up choosing Robco. And definitely ask for Adam ,he'll make the whole process smooth and stress-free. Thank you, Robco and Adam! read more

Steven did an excellent job answering all my questions and completed a build out. Even though I am concerned that the placement and design isn't maximizing the solar output as will come back and haunt these folks in 1 year as it will not produce 97% of the contract output. These fine folks even complied with my HOA paint requirements after raising them. Replaced the 23 broken tiles from install. Stand up folks. Hopefully in 1 year they will honor the contract. read more

We've used Robco Electric to add solar panels to not just one, but two houses after we moved from the first one. After much research into several different solar companies we decided on Robco Electric. They had the most experience, the best product for the price, and because of Jorge Saal, they definitely had the best customer service. Jorge explained everything in depth, answered all our questions, and is there to still provide excellent customer service after it's all done. With Jorge, you don't feel like once they get paid, you're abandoned and on your own, which we appreciate. He also helped us immensely with setting up the app so we could see and understand our panels production and use. Thanks to Jorge, he made the decision to go with Robco Electric easy, and they've been a tried and true company you can rely on. read more

Robco is an amazing company to work with. I spoke with several other companies: SunRun, Synergy, and Solup but chose Robco primarily for the products they offered but the experience throughout has reconfirmed we made the right choice. *Customer Service* Jorge has been my main point of contact. He's been extremely easy to work with and knowledgable on the industry. He's someone I feel like I can trust to be honest in his information and opinions. He's always kept me informed with real-time updates on the installation and what I can expect for the rest of the process. I feel very lucky to have Jorge as my point of contact. *Products* I'm obsessive with research when I make a big purchase. Solar was no different. When comparing contracts, make sure to compare apples to apples. - the brand and type of inverter - brand and type of panels - number of panels - your own usage vs expected kWh - system monitoring, warranty on panels & roof damages Robco met my expectations for all of the above. They also offered the type of inverter I wanted and better pigeon prevention than the other companies i spoke to. In terms of price, they were all fairly competitive. *Installation* Ricardo A. Gregorio B. and Marci H. came to install our panels. They were communicative about their arrival time and came on-time both days. They were all extremely polite and communicative. They made sure to clean up all debris throughout the day and kept everything extremely organized and tidy. They also always asked for permission for any decisions needing to be made no matter how small the issue. Their work is also cleaaaaaaan. My panels and roof are looking great!! Everything was done in about 1.5 days. I honestly wish every contractor who came into our home were as thorough and polite as these guys. We requested quotes from several companies, but the positive reviews here and the straightforward way they did business sold us. Pigeon guard looks great, all conduit painted to match, just overall a great job. Very happy we chose Robco. read more

I used Robco as the company that did the Solar on my residence. I have to say from the initial meeting with the Rep Chelsey who was not pushy but knowledgeable about the product and the process made it an easy choice. She was prompt for our meeting and gave us the time that we needed to make a decision. Ricardo and crew did the install and they were second to none. There is a lot more to a solar system than just the price. Adam took the time to figure out how big a system we truly need, never tried to sell us anything larger. He clearly said you can always add to it in the future. The installation was flawless and our electric bill has been less than $15 ever since. Robco Electric - Solar Installation Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

In the summer of 2022, my wife and I relocated from a condo in the Los Angeles area to a 4-year-old house that we bought in Henderson, NV. Among the numerous changes we decided to make to our new home, we knew that we wanted to get a solar energy system installed. After doing some research on companies that offer solar panel installation, we narrowed our search down to three and met with a representative from each company. We were favorably impressed with the presentations and proposals from two of them, but in the end, we selected Robco Electric for two reasons: (1) Their proposal seemed to offer a better system for roughly the same cost, and (2) their representative, solar consultant Steven Araneta, clearly had a great deal of expertise, which was also true of Robco Electric. We are extremely happy that we chose Robco Electric. They walked us through the process of securing the necessary inspections, permits, and approvals from our HOA, the city, and NV Energy, and after we waited impatiently for our scheduled installation, everything came together without a hitch. The installers -- Danny, Marck, and Gregorio, under the supervision of Ricardo Acevedo -- did a fantastic job. They were courteous, neat, friendly, professional, and happy to answer all of our questions before and during the actual installation of the solar panels and the additions to our electrical system. They kept us fully informed throughout the entire process, which they completed quickly and efficiently. They also did a fabulous job of making sure that the conduit pipe that they installed on the side of our house (to connect our electric system panels with the solar panels on the roof) was painted to match the color of the exterior paint on the walls of our house. It blends in so well that we do not even notice it is there. In fact, there was only one surprising and disappointing aspect of the solar energy system installation: When electricians from NV Energy came to replace our existing electric meter with a new two-way meter, they shut off all electricity to our house without giving us any advance warning. We were at home and they could not even be bothered to knock on the door and tell us they were about to cut off the power for roughly 10 minutes! We had no idea they were there, so we thought there had been a power outage in our area. Happily for us, this did not result in anything more than a brief inconvenience, plus Robco was not to blame -- and we are now delighted every time we look at the app on our mobile phones that shows us how much power we are generating. We would absolutely recommend Robco Electric without any hesitation to anyone considering the installation of a solar energy system, and I must once again commend Steven Araneta, Ricardo Acevedo, and his crew (Danny, Marck, and Gregorio) for making the entire process enjoyable and even exciting. read more

Robco does a GREAT job with their solar installation! We received a quote from one of the biggest solar installers in the Las Vegas area and their price was slightly above Robco's for THREE LESS panels with an equivalent energy or maybe less rating. We recommend Robco's sales representative Jorge "George" Saal. As a former installer he is knowledgeable of the process from start to finish. A couple of things to note: 1. " Bird" protection is superior to other companies. See attached photo. 2. Seamless process from start to finish. 3. We had an internet connection issue after installation, NOT due to Robco, and Jorge came out and personally re- hooked us up to the monitoring app. HIGHLY recommend Robco for solar installation!! read more

Robco Electric - Solar Installation Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Our neighbor hired Robco Electric to install solar on their two-story house. We live next door in a single story, flat roofed house. During the installation, we regularly found their installation supplies and tools in our yard, which had clearly either been thrown off or had fallen off the neighbor's second story roof during the solar installation. Not very impressive, but just a minor annoyance. However, shortly after their installation was complete, we discovered that one of our solar panels was broken. Upon inspection, it was clear that the break was caused by the impact of the heavy duty drill bit we found on our roof near the broken panel. The only way this could have happened was for the drill bit to have fallen from above, which lead us to the conclusion that it was being used by Robco Electric while installing the neighbor's solar system. We contacted Robco Electric, explained the situation, and asked them to pay for the replacement solar panel. They sent a representative to our house who inspected the damage and stated that the damage-causing drill bit found on our roof was indeed the type they use. He said someone would contact us. It is now 3 months later and no one has contacted us. My husband just called Robco Electric again and was again told someone would contact us. We shall see... Someone did call us back. Robco Electric has agreed to reimburse us for the cost of replacing the solar panel. Hopefully a check will be forthcoming. read more

I finally broke down and decided to invest in solar panels for my home. I did a lot of research and had several companies provided me with estimates. I finally chose Robco and I believe I could not have made a better choice. The salesman, Steven, was very helpful and answered all my questions HONESTLY and I felt no pressure. I really liked that they were a local company that will stand behind their product and workmanship.. I knew I made the right choice after the installation. The crew they sent out were great. So, I can finally write a review as I am officially live with my solar system. What can I say that's not already written on the endless list of 5* reviews - so I won't go into too much detail but will highlight some of the standout items to me. First and foremost, thank you to everyone at Robco Electric that I interacted with (Krystal, Ricardo and the rest of his installation team) from beginning to the end of my solar installation. Before I do any work for anything, I always read reviews. From the beginning I knew I was likely going to end up going with Robco, but of course I entertained many door-to-door sales to learn about the current technologies (it's been about 10 years since my last consultation at my other home). Almost all of the competitors overinflated what you "need" for your setup, some mislead or tell partial truths, and some were just flat out pushy. It was truly refreshing to have none of that with Krystal (my sales rep). Quite honestly, because of the differing estimate that Krystal had provided in comparison to ALL of the others - it made me doubt the work that was going to be done. If fact, I requested a few more panels to future-proof the home :) Anyway, Krystal was an absolute pleasure to speak with. She is very knowledgeable and was answered ALL of my questions, plus provided so much more information than any other salesperson I had met with. During the entire process, from beginning to end, Krystal ensured that I was updated through the entire process. Additionally, I am confident that if I ever need any support or have any questions in the future, she will be there for me. Now for the installation team (Ricardo and his crew). The installation itself took slightly longer than expected. Not because of the team, but because of bad weather (excessive wind and snow during the days I was scheduled for). Most certainly outside of the installation teams control. Let me say this, Ricardo and his team were the most polite and respectful group of people that provided any type of service at my home. He treated my home as if it was his own! Ricardo will keep you updated during the ENTIRE time they are onsite during the install. The installation of the product IS the "cleanest", and best looking, that you will have. Not to mention, unparalleled quality on the pigeon/critter guards (the rest will either not install any or use flimsy netting/chicken wire). I would also like to mention that this is INCLUDED with your installation, the competitors will either not mention it and will most certainly charge you for the inferior netting. Lastly, I am almost confident that Robco had the best quote out of all. There may have been one quote that came close or a little bit cheaper by a few dollars - but why even risk it considering what you've read here or for any other review. Thank you again to Krystal, Ricardo and the rest of the team. One of the best experiences I've had with a service provider. It truly says a lot about Rob and his leadership when ALL of the employees speak very highly of the company and leadership, not to mention that they all love their jobs! Well done, Rob! (it is unfortunate that I was able to meet you). read more

Robco Electric - Completed installation - 22 Panels - Solar Installation Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

After interviewing several solar companies in Las Vegas I finally decided to put my fate to Robco. I am so happy with the final products and especially with Krystal who is very knowledgeable of the solar system, she spent lots of time explaining to me in details of the system; besides she is very honest about the costs. The Robco crew was very prompt in installing the panels read more

We looked at solar for years. After getting the run around, missed appointments, etc. from the big national companies, we elected to go local. Robco is legit, they do what they say, plus more. 4 years after owning the system, I contacted Krystal and she was spot on for helping me with an issue. This company is excellent. There is nothing I regret except for not trying to convert sooner. I love this company, even 4 years after installation. read more

If you want a high-quality roof solar installation with the latest technology, as well as customer care and service that is second to none, look no further than Robco Electric! Chelsey is so awesome to work with and she did an outstanding job of shepherding us through the entire process. Kudos also to Josh and his professional and courteous installation crew, as well as to Juan and his helper for carrying out our City of North Las Vegas inspection and installing my new circuit breaker switches for our EV charging. It turned out that one of those original switches was defective and could have possibly caused a fire in our circuit breaker panel. Juan discovered it and saved the day! Also, from the very beginning, Robco offered to install the conduit from the solar box to the solar panels in the attic rather than on the roof. Our particular installation ended up not needing any conduit installed in the attic as the solar panels are right next to my circuit breaker panel. But another solar company we got an estimate from before deciding to go with Robco did not initially offer to install the conduit in the attic. It wasn't until after they learned we were going with Robco that they offered to install conduit in the attic rather than on the roof. Pigeon guards are the best, and best-looking! It is for all of these reasons that we felt comfortable and confident going with Robco Electric. Highly recommended. Five stars. read more
