After the service call I scheduled for the next week for the repair and I wasn't disappointed. I wanted the repair to be done correctly and they did just that. Plus they have a 5 year warranty on parts and 10 on labor! Will definitely go with them again for any of my solar needs and hvac issues in the future!

Once I notified him that we were gonna go with them, the inspectors were out making sure the breaker box and roof were OK. Everyone was so nice and considerate to the point where I didn't feel like I had to be home the whole time. Once that is done, Steve quickly notified me of our install date before later receiving an email with the offical details. Day of installation, Alfonso and his crew continued the trend of being thoughtful and nice. From beginning to end the solar installation was done within two days, and at the end of each a progress update was provided. Alfonso also let me know that somebody would be out to paint the piping alongside my house and when the final inspection would be conducted. We spent close to 50k on solar panels. Our inverter went out late August. They sent out a tech to try to fix it several times. The fix would last a few days then fail. We were finally approved for a new inverter. We had to wait for the warranty to be approved then the unit to be delivered then for it to be installed. We lost the ability to generate energy on and off until last week. (Aug-Nov) When I asked to be compensated for the loss of the ability to generate power due to faulty equipment I was told that the company would look into it and ask management. I was contacted today that $69.00 is all that was approved. So from late August to the end of November we were not generating power from the panels consistently. We were patient waiting for a fix and to be told $69 is disappointing today the least. Please be careful when considering to do business with this company. I understand needing to take time to fix an issue but not to help the customer with the loss of solar for over three months isn't how you take care of customers. I wouldn't recommend them.

He was professional and respectful, and took the time to explain their side of the clause. They're not trying to silence honest feedback across the board -- they're asking for 45 days to fix any issue before someone goes public with a negative review. I appreciate the clarification, but this is still an effort to silence consumer's right to free speech, which is something I take very seriously. I work with several brands that compete in various marketplaces, and this is a tactic I would never endorse. The clause, as written, sends the wrong message. It's written in very strong legal language, and yes, it absolutely reads like a threat. Telling a customer that their warranty could be voided over a "disparaging" comment -- even one that's truthful -- feels more like protecting the brand at the expense of the customer's rights. If a company's service is great and they handle problems with integrity, their customers won't feel the need to "disparage" them in the first place. To be clear, I otherwise had a good experience with Solar Optimum during the proposal stage, but ultimately decided not to sign due to what I consider to be a big red flag. I have no reason to believe that the positive reviews here are not genuine. I just have to assume that part of the reason they seem to out-index the rest of the industry is due to this type of tactic. I don't have a crystal ball - but the solar industry seems to be littered with companies who deal in deceptive practices, so if you want to be the "good guy", then you should have confidence that your customers will advocate for you. This isn't personal -- it's a broader concern about consumer rights. If you're thinking about signing with any solar company (not just this one), read the contract carefully, ask questions, and make sure your voice doesn't come with fine print attached.

So we contracted Bella Vista Solar to come out and look at our system. We were so very impressed by the technician who came because he instantly diagnosed the problem. We asked him to put in writing what he discovered and include that info on the invoice. It cost $100 for him to come out, and it's very much worth it. Armed with that description, we were finally able to persuade SunStrong to send their selected contractor to take a look. And yes, we have installation and maintenance issues with our solar system. And it took Bella Vista's diagnosis to confirm. SunStrong then arranged to fix the problems.

When las vegas had the awful hail storm during a summer monsoon; we had to replace several parts due to hail damage . Suntrek worked wonderfully with our insurance company and all repairs were done well ... Not until this last service call a summer start up, a few weeks ago , have I ever encountered a negative experience with their service crew. Unfortunately one of their lead crew members blew me off saying it was my pool system that was failing not the solar . I was very perplexed because of my pool pump was functioning perfectly or my pool would have been green ; this was not the case ... I told the service tech it might be one of the check valves but he "blew me off " saying it doesn't matter .. I was then charged for the service call with an additional time and a replacement part of vr valve ; at a total price of $365 and my system was still not working ; the crew walked away .... A couple of weeks later I called back replying my pump and filter is working just fine but the solar is not and requested a different crew member to come .. Here comes John to save the day !!! He listened to what has transpired and my concerned about being "blown off " by the first visit ... Within minutes he new it was the check valve , replaced the part , and then made sure everything was working properly and the solar valves in the correct position because the first crew had them wrong !!
