I've always had a good customer service at this location. It's been my favorite place to go when i want quality gear from my favorite brands. Most is much needed investment.

I called ahead and asked to test ride and the attendant at the bike shop, Evan was incredibly accommodating. After a quick ride, I gave him the nod that I'd buy the bike. He took his time to go through the motions of preparation and provide his input on certain add on items. Will most likely be back to bring the bike for service.

I'd rather donate all of it to a good cause than accept that. I loaded everything back into my truck and had Blessingdale's Thrift stores come to my house to take them. Because it was extremely hot outside, I went inside to cool off while hubby handled things with the employee. After he unloaded everything at the back of the store, the employee came over and said "thanks for your trouble" and handed me a $20 bill. I have consigned clothing, designer handbags, and sold books, sporting goods and household items to different businesses so I completely understand that businesses need to make a profit. I also know used items are worth much less than retail, but $20 for that entire load felt incredibly insulting and completely unreasonable given the amount and condition of the gear. It just did not sit right with me. I went back inside and asked for our things back. We loaded everything back into the truck and brought it back home. I decided I would much rather donate it all to a nonprofit where I know the items will actually help someone which will make me feel so good rather than accept $20 for everything. I would have actually preferred getting no offer at all. I'm sure this works for some people but based on my personal experience, cannot recommend selling here expecting a remotely fair offer.

I was tempted to fix it myself, however, there are so many versions that I was afraid of getting the wrong one. I reached out on Yelp to several gunsmiths, but they were either too busy, too expensive, not interested, or wanted me to wait over a month. Their prices were also too high! Then, I got a message from Badlands Adventure Haven that was upbeat & inviting. Brennan, the gunsmith, not only said he could fix it immediately, but he gave me a price that was quite reasonable. I'm glad that I did not try to fix it myself. The replacement parts are highly specialized and there are at least 3 versions for the particular model of my pistol. Brennan knew exactly which version would work and ordered the right one. He also applied a special adhesive to the screws so they wouldn't come loose from heavy firing. I watched him do everything using professional gunsmithing tools & a special vice made just for guns. After about 20 minutes, I left with a feeling of complete satisfaction. I might also add that Brennan is quite amiable, highly professional, & true to his word. His ultimate aim is to please. Those who live in the North Phoenix / Glendale / Peoria area are very fortunate to have him nearby. I know that I certainly am. I highly recommend him. PS: His prices are extremely reasonable, as well.
