I ordered two polo shirts with an agency embroidered logo, and was told it was approx a 1 week turnaround time. I placed five calls to FX over the next two months to determine the status of my order. Despite leaving VM's with a request to call me, I never once received a return call. In my final call, I explained I would cancel my order if I didn't hear from them by the end of the day. Not surprisingly, no phone call. I have only 60 days to dispute a charge if need be, and still had not received my shirts or an ETA on the order. I've canceled my order and disputed the credit card charge. Good thing you have a large corner of the uniform market because your customer service sucks. read more

I have to start off and say this place has AWESOME customer service! I've recently gotten in to paintball and I decided to get some gear from here and I had no clue where to look! So I stumbled across this place because my bank is down the street and I'm constantly passing by and contemplating whether I should go inside and buy some gear or go online. To be honest I thought I was going to look like a fool in there.... so one day I finally got enough courage to go inside and I was glad I did. As I walked in I was instantly greeted and asked if I had any questions and I had told the man I was looking for a vest and he quickly showed me where they had them and he answered my questions and helped me pick out the correct vest I was looking for. A couple of associates came over and we had conversations on paintball and I actually felt comfortable. The manger also helped me look through some pants and answered all of my questions and believe me I asked a ton! Overall my experience was phenomenal here and I will be returning again. Went to quite a few different stores to purchase a long range scope for my new rifle before discovering FX Tactical. Most places made me feel dumb or tried talking down to me because I'm not an expert long range shooter by any means. I found FX Tactical on Vortex Optics website and when they had the very hard to find scope I was looking for I jumped in the truck and headed there right away. Glad I did, I met with Mario and he took the time to answer all my questions then mounted my scope and made all the adjustments I needed. He then politely answered all the other questions I had and never once made me feel like he was talking down to me. Recently I've been buying tactical outfit at the Peoria store. The 2 girls always tried to help me of what I need but the guy in particular always act like a brick. Today I bought a pant and after I told the lady while he was present about the size I'm looking. The two girls are trying to asses what I need but the guy behind them is shaking his head. I don't know if he is saying they don't have the size or something else but he seem pretty serious about it. So one of the girl went to the rack and look for the size I need and there it is. I like the fact they carry basically the full like of 5.11 products along with Vertx, Propper and Condor. Great for comparison. The 5.11 and Condor seem to be just about the same pricing as online places. While you have to pay tax you don't have to pay shipping so it evens out. read more

I bought a 42" tactical rifle bag thinking my gun would fit in it, gun didn't fit so I attempted to return it. Chris Herrold said he couldn't accept it because it had a spot of discoloration (was like this when I bought it the day before) the bag had all the tags and buckles and was in the same exact condition as when I'd bought it the day before. I left the store to get my phone, leaving the bag on the counter, when I returned 2 minutes later it was back on a shelf for sale. This place is an absolute joke and I will never shop here again. read more

I really really want to like this place, but it's becoming increasingly harder. Every time I go in they're always out of the things I need. Granted their customer service and staff are great, however they never have anything I need. I don't feel like anything im looking for is outrageous or rare. I came down from Prescott for a couple items (belt keepers basketweave, double cuff case basketweave, safariland mag pouch basketweave) and not one of them could be found. The time before that I came down for uniforms and only walked out with 2 shirts because they were out of my size and style. I've learned, and my advice is always call before you make a trip over there. read more

I recently had the pleasure to visit both the Peoria store and Tucson location. The Peoria store was very busy and were doing their best to help everyone. This a great store to find everything you would need to outfit a tactical unit. I met Jeff at the Tucson store and he was very helpful and knowledgable about their product lines. My group had to wait a day to buy a complete set of tactical shirts and pants for our entire group. The Tucson store did not have enough sets to complete our order. Here is where the magic happened. Jeff was now up at the Peoria location and he found the remaining times we needed at the Peoria store. He agreed to drive those items and meet me half way between Tucson and Peoria. I'm sorry FX Tactical but unfortunately I'm not going to be doing any business with you in the future. The "new" boots that took me nearly a month to receive after being told it would take a week to get them has pushed me to the limit. Then when I ordered them they arrived in a beat up box, they were both scuffed and had looked as if someone had tried them on and walked around in them. I was told that you tried to call me two times and e-mailed me last week and I had given you the wrong number and e-mail. Then you called the number while I was in the store and it worked perfectly. I called last week as well and was told they hadn't arrived. Makes me feel as if I was blatantly lied to. I support local businesses until they stop supporting me so best of luck in the future as I will take my business elsewhere from now on. Do not try and fix this issue because I've made up my mind and will not be back. You've lost your moral compass and telling me lies to cover your rear has taught me to learn my lesson the first time and not allow for me to be lied to a second time. read more

I have been a regular customer at this store since day one. I purchased several new uniforms the other day, had them tailored at this location, and about a week later I picked them up. I wore the pants only one time at work, and the thread came lose, and started dragging out of the bottom of my pants. It was a very large amount of thread, and the bottom of my pants looked like someone folded, and stapled them together, and they were about an inch short. I usually get my uniforms done at a different location, but i decided to give this place a try (NEVER AGAIN). When I tried returning the pants they refused to do so. The Female manager told me cause they were worn, and washed (which they were not) I could not exchange them. There were minor belt mark from wearing them one time, but have not been washed. Why would I wash new pants. They told me they could redo the Bottom of my pants, but that's not the point. I should have to be coming back and patching up brand new pants, and wasting my time. I asked to get a new pair of pants in exchange, so I can take them to another alteration store to get them done, but they refused to exchange the pants. The main manager eventually offered to fix the problem, but I didn't want to deal with them anymore, took my loss, and left. I purchased several uniforms, and it's not like I had an issue with all of them. I just wanted new pants. I spent a lot of money at this store, and It has always been convenient for me to come to this store because it's located down the street from my house, but I'm gonna have to start going back to John's or Ace. It's a matter of principle, and I will not return to this store. read more

Used to love this store. We went here for all of my boyfriends uniform and boot needs. We bought a very expensive bullet proof vest from here and when we took the carrier in to be warrantied out we were told it would take 6-8 weeks which we expected. It has now been almost 6 months and have not heard anything. We have called multiple times only to be left on hold. And when I finally went in yesterday I was greeted by a rude lady by the name of Tauni who did not seem to want to help us at all. She told us her "vest guy" would call and find out about the vest and call us back later that day. We still know nothing about his carrier. Will not be purchasing from here again. read more
