This is a really fun pub to stop by at. The food was great (brisket sandwich was fantastic!). The real winner however, is the garlic cheese bread! Make sure you order it! The owner Eric was awesome. He was behind he bar and saw us walk in, the bar was already pretty full at 3pm. He walked out from behind the bar and asked how he could help us. We asked for a patio table, to which he promptly escorted us. I was wanting a scotch ale, which they don't have but he pointed me toward the Colorado Native which was a decent replacement - No complaints at all. Very very friendly place. Good menu. The food was absolutely delicious and didn't have to wait long at all for it. I will stop by this pub every time I come over this way for sure. read more

We stopped in here for drinks after a gym session next door (hey life's a balance) and we had a great time. Our waitress Kinga was mindreader and made sure our drinks were full. This morning started okay but then both husband and I went on a drive..... from Woodland Park, CO - Hwy 285.... We decided to try this place out as it's always busy..... it's a very unique place with old signs, hubcaps, other unique wall hangings.... kind of like a biker bar.... well there were a lot of bikers there and they do have a bar..... they had great entertainment outside and wish we stayed longer to hear them but it was getting late... Now we didn't order much... chips & queso/salsa and buffalo wings plus 2 drinks.... I thought the food was fine and the staff was friendly but husband didn't like the water-down blue cheese dressing.... I thought maybe we should come back and try their pizza but he wasn't thrilled.... If you like this type of atmosphere, you should enjoy this place... Great dive bar with great food and great service! I went here with a group of 5 on a Thursday evening and we sat right away! They have some really good specialty cocktails on their menu and Thursday night is ladies night so you get BOGO drinks. Our waitress was great - very friendly and helped us with the menu. We ordered wings to start and we each got 2-4 wings. I appreciated our waitress's patience since we ordered individually! The wings were BOMB! I wish I had gotten just an order of them as my main meal because they were delicious. I got the medium buffalo and the garlic parm. They are good sized and smoked, so they are nice and crispy. I love smoked wings! The buffalo sauce was very tasty and the garlic parm was really good. I've never had a garlic parm wing before like this and it was really good. A little greasy, but who gets wings and doesn't expect some grease?! The garlic parm was a crowd-pleaser for our group of gals that didn't love too much heat. For dinner, I got the Louisiana hot burger (without the habanero). It was really good too! It wasn't too hot at all. In fact, I probably could have gotten it with the habanero glaze and still would have been able to eat it without any trouble. The other meal at the table that looked good was the tuscan chicken pizza (I think it was called that) on the specialty menu. The dough was super fluffy and they weren't sparse with the fixings. It looked really good! I don't live in this area, but I'd like to make an excuse to get back with my sister because we are always looking for the best wing spots. Next time, I'll try a few more flavors of wings because they were really, really good! Maybe get wings and pizza since both are great leftover! read more

The service and food was excellent!! I ordered the Beyond Burger 'New Mexican' and absolutely loved it! The burger was sooo juicy, I was really impressed! Another person we were with ordered the chicken sandwich and he said it was one of the best chix sandwiches he's ever eaten. We saw so many pizzas be delivered to tables and they all looked so amazingly good, we had to order one to go haha! We couldn't wait to try it so we dug in right away!! Very good!! I was really pleased at the care Donnie the cook took with my burger. I asked them not to sprinkle any pepper on it because I can't eat pepper. He personally came out to talk with me and ask if it was an allergy, which meant he would have to clean off the grill as well as avoid sprinkling any on. I said it was not an allergy, but pepper can make me sick even in small amounts. So he went out of his way to cook a burger from scratch rather than use one of the preseasoned ones they had ready. Basics.... this a a good place to eat and drink. Ok for family before 6pm. Good pizza! Service is pretty sketchy (2 Stars if even that )... not polished or smooth. But I can't expect much more as it's a mountain town, and hiring choices are likely limited. Possibly some training in courtesy, communication, and standard process would help. Food ( 4 Stars, for but for up here only- down the hill it would be 2-3) The food has been good and consistent. I Have had most of the offerings on the menu and not much of any complaints - (other than I wish they had "tots".) Location and environment (4 Stars). Perfect spot for pub & Grill, and it's clean enough but could use a little bit of "refreshing" (worn out booths sad bathrooms etc). It has a great "road house" vibe and the decorating is appropriate. Prices are "mountain town" and thus are about 20% more than the equivalent down the hill - it is what it is. One way I evaluate restaurants up here, is would they survive down the hill ??--- nope, crossroads would be dead in a month. It's sad that nobody can do it all well up here. As to the "road house" vibe... just note that it does get a bit "seedy" in the evenings so not the best spot for the Clark Griswold family to stop during the cross country road trip... all of the locals -dirty jeans and their drunk girlfriends kinda take over the place and the language and actions can degrade to drunk sailor level. Crossroads stays on my list as it is what we got.... have been hitting it several times a month and will continue to do so. read more

Lived up here for the last 8 years and have been coming to Crossroads for that whole time as well. Ordered fried pickles today, and a cheese pizza with light cheese. What I got was the bottom of the fryer and the whole udder of the cow. This was 30 bucks that I'll regret spending. Thanks for nothing. read more

Giving 2 stars because everytime we go in there, one of the bartender/cocktail servers flirts with my husband. Blatantly. The other servers/bartenders are super nice and ive never had a problem otherwise. But dont ask my husband to cuddle with you. I mean, cmon! I'm a local in the area, and this place is ok. They do have some old school video games there which my kids love.

Their motto is "Altitude not Attitude", and I have to say that they lived up to that. From the friendly lady with the cowboy hat and armband tattoo to the manager who took our order, everyone acted with hospitality to a couple of obvious out-of-towners. The atmosphere had a certain 'biker bar' style, but was clean and actually really attractive, with Indian Motorcycle signs, Vintage Gas Pumps and U.S. License Plates decorating the dining room. The food was also good. My V-Twin Beef Sandwich was all kinds of good, and my wife's fish and chips tasted exactly how you'd want fish 'n chips to taste. They are way better than they really have to be, since they are basically the only game in town for hungry travelers and could probably get away with serving mediocre greasy slop and still do OK. But they don't, and I think that speaks great of them. They were certainly better than I expected. We didn't try it, but they also seem pretty proud of their pizza. So if you're on the road in the Colorado countryside and you see the Crossroads Diner, go ahead in stop in is my advice. read more

Seems like Crossroads has improved, which is great. After ownership changed, service was the worst I had experienced, and the menu had a lot less offerings. The menu is still not as great as the previous, but what is offered is great quality. Loved their cobb salad - could have split into two meals for how much goodies they piled on and the richness of it! Pizza was yummy too, and they were kind and efficient with take out. Happy a lot of the previous issues seem to be fixed because this used to be our go-to place. Will definitely put it back in the rotation of local restaurants now! read more

Timeliness: For food and drinks this is consistently longer than the average bar and grill type restaurant. However, it's worth it for the quality of food and for being the best restaurant in the Pine/Bailey area. It helps if you go in with realistic expectations. Friendliness: could use some improvement. When I asked to have it remade it was another hour cause they prioritized other to go orders over an in-restaurant customer whose food was inedible. Finally they comped our meal while they prioritized another for me, Which came but was not what we ordered at all. When our great waitress and she was great, told us he said he would make another but would be behind 5 other pizzas we walked out. Gave our waitress a great tip. Never going there again. read more
