PAC man!

Very cool atmosphere. The crowd tends to have a college vibe, but it's not everyone, you'll still see a mix crowd here. Happy hour prices are great...I believe it's $4 beer and $4 wells. The place is bigger than it looks, and has a base type floor below with pool tables, pac man, and foosball, darts..prob other stuff I don't remember. I dig it, worth checking out if in the area.

Was in Boulder and had some extra time one afternoon while walking around to stop here for lunch. Cool no-frills pub. Order your drink in front and your food in the back if you're getting food. Seat yourself. Good prices, good burger.

Best Old Fashioneds in town! You may think a college bar staffed by "bartenders" who only know how to pour beers and shots who have learned to despise their college clientele over the years, and who's owner has made his money a hundred times over wouldn't bother to keep a single bottle of Angostura bitters stocked behind the bar, but you would be totally wrong! They definitely have bitters and definitely know how to make the simplest, most well known cocktail for guests. They understand that it would be ridiculous to have all that whiskey and scotch on the wall and not know what to do with it besides pour shots and add soda or cola. Duh! Give them more credit than that. So please give their old fashioned a try! They definitely have that one very common inexpensive ingredient called Angostura Bitters behind the bar to make one and they definitely know that it is just 2oz of whiskey, 1/2oz of simple syrup, and a couple dashes of bitters. Oh, and please try their Manhattan or Rob Roy as well! What useless excuse for a "bar" would bother to carry scotch and whiskey and not keep a single bottle of $13 vermouth handy? That would be pathetic! And this bar definitely isn't pathetic.

Finally a day off!!!

This is far the best place in Boulder for a hamburger and wings. I would not post this, if I was not super satisfied. Wowww what can I say.The food is so delicious every bite is sweet flavors of a well made burger.

We stopped in on a whim, looking for a decent burger and we were not disappointed. This is how I think a neighborhood bar should look, sort of dark, narrow with one bartender running the show - who was personable, friendly and highly efficient. The kitchen is in the back of the bar and you walk over and order or the bartender takes the order and runs the order back. We had multiple orders including wings, burgers and fish and chips. All were freshly cooked and piping hot. We were all very satisfied with our meals - I had the fish and chips and the fish was perfectly cooked and crispy - the potatoes were well seasoned and the Cole slaw was light. A great meal! Finally, the bathrooms were clean, the crowd was fun (and clearly local) and we didn't feel rushed- we could have easily enjoyed drinks there for a couple of hours.

The great Daniel Larson is here tonight. Lots of FBI agents and police cars outside. Don't know what that's all about.

I have two questions. 1) Is there a patio? 2) Are you dog-friendly?

They have a small patio in the front on Pearl St. No dogs inside, they serve food.

We were greeted almost immediately and presented with drink menus. Our server answered questions about what the drinks tasted like to help us decide as well. The inside is a little bit divey in feel but more upscale than your typical dive bar. They had tons of seating, and I saw next to a fireplace because it looked cozy (it was). The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

From game days (televised or board/card) to happy hour catch ups I love coming here for the laid back and family friendly vibes. I've enjoyed having my birthday party here for the last handful of years (they have amazing event space). As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.

We started with a flight and ranked them in this order: * Holy Craic Irish Red Ale (#2 for my wife) * Golden Boy Kolsch (#1 for my wife) * Steel Cut Stout * Twisted Amber (neither liked) * Dublin Magic Irish Stout (neither liked) After the flight, we both enjoyed two of the beers we enjoyed the most. For food, we each got a side Caesar salad. Large and with lots of flavor, they were very good. We each then got the Mediterranean pizza. I added chicken to mine. My wife liked hers, while I was disappointed in mine. I didn't find the flavor to be great, and the crust was rather flimsy and disappointing. Pizza here on our first visit had been great, so again, this was disappointing. Service was friendly enough. I'm sure we'll be back again.

One of our favorite things during the pandemic when restaurants could reopen was picking up their in house chicken pot pie. It's my husband's absolute favorite chicken recipe which I used to make myself. Though I am unable to make it now that l have lost a lot of vision and not a single one we have bought elsewhere was sufficient until we ordered from The Post Boulder. After a short time it became too labor intensive for the Post to make in house back then with limited staff so they contracted with a pie facility in Denver. Compared to their own it was merely adequate so we moved on to there other in house specialties. As we were ordering gold specials for Sunday!s big game, I saw that the daily specials now include Chicken Pot Pies Thursday's so we went to try it. This ficus a personal size freshly made this morning it was nice to have for a meal with a side salad. But though good, it was not as hearty as the one we loved 5 years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive and my husbands favorite beer (El Korn) was on tap and my iced tea was customized perfectly . We even brought most of the salad home as it was a large serving for a lunch. We'll be back on Sunday for our wings and other treats that we need to pick up. And we can come back again for a lunch or dinner as the have more items for people like me who cannot eat fried chucked, with their grilled chicken or salmon.

Started with the cauliflower bites in sweet chili sauce -- and let's be clear -- these were not polite, side-salad energy cauliflower. These were "touch one and we're no longer friends" cauliflower. Sweet, crispy, addictive. I fell in love against my will. Then the fried half chicken arrived. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside -- like someone's Southern aunt spent years perfecting it. And yes -- there's a gluten-free fried chicken option that somehow tastes just as good. A plot twist I didn't see coming. The collard greens had that smoky-sweet-Sunday vibe, and once the house hot sauce entered the chat? Full gospel choir moment. And William at the bar? Welcoming, honest, and actually tells you what's good -- not "everything is amazing" menu-script energy. The man can be trusted.
