It seams the repair bussiness is an apartment or living space behind the counter. Smelled like food each time I arrived. The 1st time the business had an open sign on,but the door was locked. Sketchy!! Counterfeit items all.over the store and 1.75 canned sodas in a dorm room fridge when you walk in.....Sketchy!!!

But It failed in about a a year. I delayed sending it back. In the interim, I bought 2 braided Lightning cables, both robust, for $8 apiece. They have been working fine. To get my refund, I would have to spend another $15 or about the cost of 2 cheaper cables. So I'd be into it for about $45 for one cable. I could buy 5 1/2 cheaper cables for what I'd have into your cable. It doesn't pencil out. And they're both made in China anyway. Not a great business model you have. I got snookered for a bad cable once. Not again.

I have spent more than 20 hours trying to resolve repeated account, contract, pricing, and insurance issues, and my agreement required multiple corrections while I received inconsistent information from different representatives. March 21: I signed my contract. During enrollment, the contract terms, conditions, pricing details, and limitations were not clearly explained. The plan was presented as approximately $45 unlimited service including hotspot, but the actual costs and added charges became significantly higher. At the same time, I specifically requested mobile replacement protection through Asurion for my phones in case of damage or replacement needs. April 21: I contacted Verizon after discovering the requested mobile replacement coverage had not been added correctly. Instead, I was enrolled in technical support coverage, which is completely different from mobile device replacement insurance. May 05: I called again specifically to verify that my phone replacement insurance had been corrected and added to the contract. I was told everything was properly set up. May 23: After calling again, I learned that the requested coverage and corrections still had not been handled as expected. My concerns include: * Contract terms not fully explained at signing * Pricing differences from what was presented * Lack of transparency regarding costs and promotions * Incorrect insurance enrollment * Repeated account corrections * Excessive time spent trying to fix avoidable issues After more than two decades as a customer, I expected better communication, accuracy, and transparency. I hope Verizon reviews this matter seriously and works toward a fair resolution.

The last tech, a year ago, either didn't go near that connection or spent little time there. Alton sent in an order for service at that "box". He said that I might lose connection until an Optimum truck fixes whatever needs repair at that location for my internet. Alton thoroughly explained everything. He also assisted me accessing my Firestick which hadn't worked since the prior tech guy replaced my modem Spring of 2025. Alton was professional, informative, respectful. I also want to repeat how much more helpful Vic was in the downtown office than my last two visits which involved the same gentleman who seldom looked at me and seemed bored with his job.

I had been perfectly happy with Optimum until I tried to cancel my service. The internet worked…read morewell, the price was reasonable, and I had no complaint with the service itself. But the cancellation process was one of the most frustrating customer-service experiences I have ever had. On August 31, while moving out of Flagstaff, I went to the Optimum store to return my equipment and cancel. I arrived around 9:30 a.m. based on the hours I had seen online, only to find the store wasn't opening until 10. Once it opened, there were roughly 12 customers and only one employee working. I ended up spending about an hour there. The employee was actually helpful, but told me he could not cancel my service in the store. I had to call a separate number. He even warned me that the people on the phone would repeatedly try to sell me something rather than simply process the cancellation. He was absolutely right. I called and explained clearly that I was moving out of the country and simply wanted my service disconnected. Instead of honoring that request, the representative repeatedly tried to retain or transfer the service, put me on hold, came back and restarted sales pitches, and kept me on the phone for roughly half an hour. After all of that, I was transferred to another representative and had to essentially start over. This person actually told me he understood I was canceling because I had found a better rate somewhere else. That was completely false. I again explained that I was MOVING and wanted the service DISCONNECTED. He then began offering me additional deals, including an extremely low promotional rate. At that point I asked the obvious question: if this is the department that actually disconnects service, why are you still trying to sell me something instead of disconnecting it? The entire phone process took well over an hour simply to accomplish one very basic request: CANCEL MY INTERNET SERVICE. Optimum needs to understand that making cancellation deliberately exhausting does not create customer loyalty. It does the opposite. I left as a previously satisfied customer who would now hesitate to ever use or recommend the company again. Returning equipment and saying "please disconnect my service" should not require a trip to a crowded store plus more than an hour of relentless retention pitches. That is not customer service. It is an obstacle course.

I was the only customer in the store, yet the three employees on duty were completely disengaged--more interested in watching a movie than doing their jobs. When I asked for help with my phone (which is glitching and barely charges past 5% per hour), they seemed visibly annoyed. Instead of assisting me through the insurance process--as I've experienced in the past--they just handed me a brochure and brushed me off. Their only real effort was trying to upsell me a new phone, even though I clearly stated I have insurance coverage. In the past, AT&T staff have walked me through the insurance claim right then and there. This time? Not even close. If this is what in-store support has become, it's incredibly disappointing. Do better.

While Chase, the supposed store manager, was helping a new employee serve her, he mentioned AT&T Internet Air. I asked and he said it would work at my address ("If you get a signal, you can use Internet Air.") Come to find out, it does NOT work at my location. He ordered it for a service location of 3300 E. University Dr, Mesa, AZ. I canceled the service but the unit had already shipped. If it had shipped to my home, I'd have no problem returning it myself. Instead, Chase had it sent to the store, knowing full well I just drove two hours to get there. Now everybody at AT&T is telling me that *I* have to return the device that Chase feloniously ordered that was shipped to the wrong address for service at an address that is a 3 hour drive from my home that I have never lived at. I was told this by at least FOUR help desk people. Since I believed I was getting the Internet Air and would have unlimited internet, I changed my service to the 55+ Plan, which was supposed to be $45 (looking on my bill, it will be over $70!). Now, as I'm looking to return to my old plan that had some great discounts, I don't see those discounts as being available (the major was a Veteran's Discount). This store should either be closed or everyone be let go or transferred to a store that can deprogram all the male bovine feces Chase has taught them. Chase should be arrested and sent to prison for misrepresentation.

Pricing Discrepancy and Poor Customer Experience -- Geek Squad Installation Quote vs. Store Charge…read more Trying to call best buy in Flagstaff was impossible. Then I drove from Flagstaff Ranch to the best buy , by flagstaff mall. Here is the email I sent Best Buy corporate: Hello Best Buy Executive Customer Relations, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my experience at the Flagstaff, AZ Best Buy store involving a RAM installation for a brand-new Lenovo laptop. Earlier today (November 10, 2025), I called Best Buy and was quoted $39.99 for in-store hardware installation (RAM upgrade), which matches the price shown on your official Geek Squad service page for "Hardware Installation (In-Store), SKU 7860102." The Geek Squad representative on the phone described it as a "very simple installation." I intended to purchase the RAM directly from Best Buy -- specifically, the CORSAIR Vengeance 16 GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM -- and have it installed onsite by Geek Squad. However, after driving approximately 12 miles, I spoke with a young blond man at the Geek Squad counter around 6:50 PM. He informed me the installation would cost $139.99because a "diagnostic" was required. I refused, as this is not what I was quoted or what is listed online. The laptop is brand new -- I've had it for less than 12 hours -- and it functions perfectly. There is no justification for a diagnostic fee on a new, fully operational system that only requires a basic RAM installation. After leaving the store, I spent an additional 45 minutes on the phone with Geek Squad support, but no one could resolve the issue or explain the pricing discrepancy. This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and reflects a lack of transparency at both the store and customer service level. I am requesting that Best Buy: Honor the quoted $39.99 installation rate for the RAM upgrade at this location. Clarify and correct any misleading pricing practices that require unnecessary "diagnostic" charges for simple installations. Provide a written confirmation within three (3) business days explaining how this issue will be resolved
