I visited the Woodlands Villafe AT&T store recently and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered. I was the only customer in the store, yet the three employees on duty were completely disengaged--more interested in watching a movie than doing their jobs. When I asked for help with my phone (which is glitching and barely charges past 5% per hour), they seemed visibly annoyed. Instead of assisting me through the insurance process--as I've experienced in the past--they just handed me a brochure and brushed me off. Their only real effort was trying to upsell me a new phone, even though I clearly stated I have insurance coverage. In the past, AT&T staff have walked me through the insurance claim right then and there. This time? Not even close. If this is what in-store support has become, it's incredibly disappointing. I drove two hours to Flagstaff to help my roommate change service to AT&T because it's one of the few services that work in my remote location. While Chase, the supposed store manager, was helping a new employee serve her, he mentioned AT&T Internet Air. I asked and he said it would work at my address ("If you get a signal, you can use Internet Air.") Come to find out, it does NOT work at my location. He ordered it for a service location of 3300 E. University Dr, Mesa, AZ. I canceled the service but the unit had already shipped. If it had shipped to my home, I'd have no problem returning it myself. Instead, Chase had it sent to the store, knowing full well I just drove two hours to get there. Now everybody at AT&T is telling me that *I* have to return the device that Chase feloniously ordered that was shipped to the wrong address for service at an address that is a 3 hour drive from my home that I have never lived at. I was told this by at least FOUR help desk people. Since I believed I was getting the Internet Air and would have unlimited internet, I changed my service to the 55+ Plan, which was supposed to be $45 (looking on my bill, it will be over $70!). Now, as I'm looking to return to my old plan that had some great discounts, I don't see those discounts as being available (the major was a Veteran's Discount). This store should either be closed or everyone be let go or transferred to a store that can deprogram all the male bovine feces Chase has taught them. i am so disturbed, by the way I was treated here as a paying customer and in addition I'm traveling from state of Oregon. My mother lives in Williams who is elderly. I have family members I need to check in with that's why I pay 65. dollars a month for service. THey treat you different if you are a prepaid customer. so I bought 3 phones in a row at Walmart and the person chase who is suppose to be a manager was clueless he told me all the phones at Walmart are no good eventhough they say att right on the package um..so they gave me a contract sim card that wont fit in the phones and it locked them then Walmart didn't want to take it back. finally went to target and that's when the nice man there said its att problem. so im traveling with no phone. fucking nightmare. worse att ever read more

Service sucks. Don't listen to the customers. Complaint doesn't go anywhere. Who runs that place. Ghetto store. No attention to items on the shelves. To many employees sitting around. Need a remodel and new employees who care for the customers. read more

They were incredibly rude for no reason, and absolutely no help. The young guy who was supposed to help me, became very rude, cut me off, cussed at me, and all because I didn't say "you too". I had only stood up from the table frustrated that my brand new phone won't turn on, and they said there's nothing they can do to help. Someone needs to help these young people learn how to be at least professional let alone "good service". I've been with AT&T for a very long time and this was the worst. read more

This is hands down the worst ATT. The employees are absolutely useless. I explained my phone broke and I needed a new phone. Pretty simple right. I now have a new number attached to my phone. (spam every day)my phone bill is over 200 a month and every time I go in to fix the problem the employees say the don't know how to fix it. The lady who worked here yesterday 11/25 around 10am was INCREDIBLY UNHELPFUL and just one of those people that didn't care to help.....I needed a new sim and since I was on a family account she said I needed to be an authorized user to get a new SIM... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I think I have ever received, they are also not allowed to give their names "for security reasons" they said?!?!! when I just wanted them for this review. We have been struggling with reception for years and today I was so frustrated that I need to keep connecting to the unsecured wifi anywhere I go to do the most basic things online that I decided to come to the store again, this is my second time I come for this same reason, the first time I was told their tower was affected by some fires I'm unaware of but I am new in town so I am not sure.. but today when I said to be honest I'm really starting to consider switching companies he replied: " one goes and another comes" his words exactly, when I said that is not a very nice thing to say to a customer instead of trying to fix what he said he made it worst got really load, all the customers at the store became aware of what was going on so I asked if someone else could help me since it was obvious he was not going to and this no name man was so angry he was practically yelling at me in the most unprofessional manner I have ever seen anyone conduct themselves. This just happened in case the owner of this account or business wants to go over their video and hopefully voice recordings at this unfortunately only location in this town. I will be driving to Phoenix for any future needs, if I keep this contract because at this point and after what happened today, I am ready to switch companies. My advise, go else where. read more

What happens when your iPhone takes a plunge into the toilet and you're stuck in a town with no apple store nearby? a) turn the phone off and put it in a bag of rice immediately and then cross your fingers that there is no damage b) wipe it off and try to keep using it as if nothing happened c) sigh and say screw it... the universe is sending you a sign that you don't need a phone while on vacation d) leave it in there and flush... bye bye iPhone! e) look up your carrier on Yelp (from another device of course), and see if there is somewhere nearby to give you some advice Well, in my case, I did (a) and then (c), followed a few days later by (e). The rice and crossed fingers didn't work this time, so I said screw it for a day or two... and then I found this AT&T location. I headed there and was greeted by both Christopher and Vito. They were definitely friendly and informative, but since I purchased my phone through an apple store, they couldn't replace it then and there; I had to go through apple for that. Vito did however, proceed to sell me on purchasing an iPad Mini (and case) in the meantime, so I used that in the interim for text messages and facetime. I took his advice and called the applecare phone # he provided me, and a few days later, I have a replacement phone in my hands. Hooray! When back in Flagstaff, I'll likely head back in to pay Vito and Christopher a visit, and to purchase a new iPhone case... I don't need to take any more chances on damaging my phone! So, if you have a situation or just need some friendly AT&T service, head on into this location... they won't let you down! read more

When I first went into the store a few years back one gentleman was extremely helpful. When I went in recently in hopes to upgrade my phone the gentleman that addressed me was extremely rude and unhelpful. He aggressively asked me multiple questions that I was unsure of as if I know everything about how the lines work and upgrades work. I simply wanted to know if I was eligible for any upgrade and if so I wanted to know the pricing of the phones I was interested in and how much my bill would change. When I continued to ask what payment I was looking at he continued to snap back rudely to tell me he couldn't tell us and no one else in the store could tell us. I decided against upgrading because his hostility was very off putting, I'll wait until I can speak with someone else. When my friend and I left the employee found it appropriate to curse at us and call us offensive names under his breath. I didn't get his name but if you go to this store I advise customers to avoid the curly haired young male worker with 2002 tattooed on the left side of his neck. read more

The people working here are rude and disrespectful . I have been having trouble with ATT service as far as reception is concerned and decided to switch to another carrier simply for better coverage. When I told them that I required the phone to be unlocked they gave me a website to contact. I said I would like to try it there in case it didn't work and was told to leave. When I asked why I was told no transaction had been made so I had to leave. I was technically still a customer and had been for years so it would have been nice for them to not have been so rude. Customer service is not something I would tout on their website. read more

Super helpful! I went in to get a new iPhone upgrade because mine was broken and everyone was super helpful! It didn't take a long time to set up my new phone or process anything. Although their wifi was down in the store, they were able to set up hotspots to allow internet access that made the whole process easy! read more

While traveling, my email account went bonkers! Then I tried to fix it- Hahaha - made it worse!!! We located this AT&T store in hopes someone could restore my account. I was helped immediately by Cody. After many different approaches, he was able to restore my account! Thank you so very much!!! PS. When traveling, try to have your passwords available. I couldn't remember it, which made the process even more difficult. read more
