I had an issue with billing and after too many attempts to contact Verizon via phone .....and ending up with robot after robot, and getting nowhere, I went into the Sedona store and Brian took care of the issue within 10 minutes. I prefer dealing with humans instead of robots. Brian made my day....thank you so much. read more

Verizon is not the company if you are a human. It has endless automated emails that pay no attention to its responses. I reported many times that I was unable to set automatic bill pay. They couldn't do it by phone, and the website to do so was down for weeks. I reported the problem with continual "Need more info" and repeated the problem. Then I got a series of emails that the problem was solved. It wasn't so I asked, "What did you do?" Kept getting "need info". Got several flowery automated texts (I take ownership of your problem.") Same automated BS. This occurred all of March, 2024. My name is Lou and I stand by this review. Their response: "Victra does not have control over Wireless service reception or data connection." We stopped by to get an iPhone fixed. Our Verizon store in California had sold us an unlimited warranty, and we expected a replacement. Sadly no, other stores don't honor it. The good news was the tech knew that the screen wasn't cracked, and that for $40 we could replace the protective cover. One credit card swipe and about 5 minutes of work, and the iPhone was like new again. Yeah, so if you buy a warranty on an iPhone, make sure you know who will honor it. read more

If you're over 50, Don't expect to be treated as if you have a working mind. They will assume that you will require too much time and patience to educate. If you're over 70, they just wont bother. I had a delightful experience at Victra Verizon in Sedona, and truly, it was due to one employee, Damian Huff. While today could have been a complicated/exchange upgrade transaction, Damian made it smooth as glass with his techno-knowledge. I walked out with a new iPhone 13 (in red!) and a smile. And btw...My sister was equally jazzed by the service she's received at the Verizon in Auburn, California. Kudos Verizon and Damian! Customer service isn't a lost art after all! read more

When I first started using them, I would have given them 4 or 5 stars. Recently I have encountered indifference, disrespect, and unhelpfulness in many instances - this has happened in excess of 5 times even after complaining to the manager. Yes, some the reps are helpful and knowledgeable but I have had enough unpleasant experiences with them, that when my Go Advantage plan ages off, I will no longer use them! All of the store employees are great. They are very helpful, knowledgeable and very patient. I recently upgraded my Iphone 10MAX to an 11Max and bought an Iphone 11 phone for my 75 year old mother. My husband upgraded from a 7Plus to an 11 Max. While the three of us were sitting in the store over the course of two days and three phone purchases, we observed the employees being repeatedly abused by elderly customers; I am 51 and my husband is 70. In one instance we witnessed Brandon being harassed and told to stop talking because he was doing his job which entailed explaining all the taxes and fees that the elderly man was paying. The man thinks he is right and Brandon is wrong and continued arguing over everything. Brandon politely put up with the abuse. These customers frankly do not care that the store employees have a protocol to follow, whether the customer likes it or not. The Sedona Verizon store has to be one of the worst Verizon stores as far as customer quality and abuse the employees endure daily. We witnessed customer after customer that was rude, mean, condescending and argumentative. All of the problem customers were over 60 years old. It became hard for me to keep my mouth shut after listening to these self important people who think they are right and literally don't make any sense except in their own demented minds. As we were leaving I told the employees how sorry I felt for them and how thy literally could not win with these people no matter what they do! I was in the store a few days ago to upgrade my phone. Brandon took great care of me & was very knowledgeable & helpful. I had to go back to the store today for some help. Brandon was there by himself juggling customers. He was super helpful, taking good care of the customers he was dealing with & basically at the same time, managed to help me with my issue. I had excellent customer service & have been going into this store a few times in the past few years. They've always been helpful, courteous & knowledgeable. Customer service is not their game. Friend saw a advertisement about a fixed rate plan and the agent wrote up the wrong plan. Then when she left a note for the manager the sales agent tore it up. I went back with her on Tuesday to cancel the contract and the sales agent didn't know how to credit the card back or refund the money through a check. My wife and I got new IPhone 8's. Great and knowledgeable service but it took 2 hours one day and two hours the next to get set up. Overall the phone experience was good. However the salesman Zach said he could get us better rates on our TV package (DirecTV). He even discussed the Genie DVR (DirecTV's new DVR) as a upgrade and a new package and could lower our costs. We agreed and after all the phone hassles he did the TV change, stapled the papers to the back of the phone receipts. The next day I was reviewing the papers and saw he CHANGED our TV carrier from DirecTV to DISH!!! He NEVER, EVER said the word DISH in any of our conversations. The paperwork looked like the typical website receipts. If I wanted to change to DISH I could have done it for the same end costs. In the end we'll going to try the DISH as DirecTV hasn't offered anything new in years except if you buy the new Genie DVR. Also trying to cancel the new DISH contract will be a hassle. I just don't like being "lied" to by a salesman!!!!! Be wary!! read more

The guys at the store were great. I kept myself amused by allowing a constant stream of ladies who came in after me to cut in line for various user errors such as: 'how do I turn off the timer on the camera' or 'access the dial pad, it's broken'. The guys were champs and helped everybody that came in. I bought a new phone and was wrapped up in 20 mins or so(minus the interruptions). They seem to know there stuff and were supremely patient with the "customers". I thought the periphal gear was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and it was quality. Plus, it's nice to have a decent Verizon store locally. I'll be back. read more

From the moment I walked in, she displayed the best customer service I have received to date from a cell phone carrier in store. All options/plans/cost were explained as well as informing me of specials for screen covers etc. I highly recommend this Verizon location for your cell phone needs. Starr is well-named because she earned her 5 stars with me last evening! I am the LEAST TECH SAVVY person on the planet and came in with multiple problems! Having taught for many years, I can recognize a person who not only CAN teach but also does it with patience and kindness. Starr fixed my problems and I left feeling that I was more competent than when I had entered (which was a huge leap in my non-techie world). I should mention that I also have a background in retail and recognize Starr's excellence in that area as well; she was low-key which was so effective in today's world of high-pressure sales and incessant telemarketers.
