When I received the new pair of glasses with lens I noticed there was some brand etching in the lens on the right lens; right top, and the left lens; left middle. As cool as this may look, I can see it in my field of view and looks like smudges. I didn't notice it until after a couple hours after my fitting. I did not agree to have this on my lens from the beginning. But I will need to get used to it likely. Otherwise, my experience in-store was awesome! I highly recommend this place.

If you enjoy arguing with the business manager about the bill for walking out because you don't like being dilated, dyed, and numbed, which I freely admit I did, then this is the place for you. I'm a semi-annual user of optometry and I haven't been dilated or numbed in over a decade. All the reviews say the doctors are good, but I never made it that far. The front end of the business is putting up barriers to getting that care, and they need to fix that. So go ahead and book an appointment, but you'll have plenty of time to think about it, because they're booked out about three months, and good for them! After all, it's worth the wait for the Best Eye Care in Flagstaff. Right??

Got up and looked for someone else to help but no one available after a lap of the store. Went back to the shoe department, the clerk was STILL talking about hikes and ignoring me standing there with the shoe. Put the shoe back on the shelf, we left and spent our money elsewhere. While we don't give off the hardcore "outdoors" vibe this store is definitely not as cool as they think they are. We were also ignored when first walking through the store while hearing another customer being offered help. Good thing there are a dozen other stores selling the same stuff within a square mile of old downtown. Maybe why so much of the merchandise was 40% off?

After a horrible experience at the place over by the old WalMart, I decided to bring my old frames…read morein and get the new prescription put in the old (beloved/awesome) frames; I've done this before and had no bad experiences, but last year in Covid-paranoia land they wouldn't do it. Not only Not My Glasses, they're some dude's horrible 70s-era-looking huge clunky things. Bill Haverchuck wore these in Freaks&Geeks, I think! Now I'm upset. They tell me they'll look with the lab, (no on-site lab anymore, sux) the other stores all over the state. They WILL find my glasses. Nope. 3 days later, the store manager calls me, says come in pick out new frames, they'll express my glasses. Guaranteed still by the 30th. I got a call Saturday Morning (the 30th), they "found" my old glasses, come get them. I get there... not my old frames, new Rx in the Technolite frames I'd picked out on Wednesday. It's nice that I now have glasses I can wear without getting a headache, but I don't really appreciate being lied to. So, overall. I got glasses I can wear, but they LOST my frames then lied to me about finding them.

They also may have the most entertaining staff of any store that I've ever been to (singing, dancing, and always having fun). They seem to only hire people with energy and who want to have fun while they are at work. For what it's worth, they are my favorite place to grab Flagstaff themed stickers and shirts. You also may find they are as good as anywhere for a unique gift for someone's next birthday. Plus they are in Old Town Shops and locally owned, so you can enjoy an afternoon of shopping and support the local economy.
