Worthington is the perfect office wear brand. So professional all the pieces. It might be old school preppie yuppie style but I look gorgeous in this suit. Washable too. The blazer and pants cost me $70.40 with tax and it was sale price. I bought earrings here once, small pearl hoops and everyone completed me on them... I think they were gold pearls and pearl pearls around the hoop. Super cute. I lost them but whatever. Today I picked out a gold bracelet, silver necklace, emerald ring and pearl ring w diamonds. I usually love JCPenney and I'm a frequent shopper however, after encountering Nancy who GRABBED my phone out of my hands to fill out a survey about herself, I was very displeased with the management. I was very shocked to learn that she is one of the managers. As a business owner myself, the lack respect is astonishing. Aside from the terrible management, the workers as a whole were very helpful and welcoming. I hope they can get Nancy under control. read more

Every time I shop at this store at the Flagstaff mall, I give thanks that we still have this store. Many stores have closed across the country. I find incredible value in my every purchase. Today, I found Mixit sandals accidently. Thrilled, because I couldn't wear out my last pair. I bought three pairs and was then surprised to realize they were on sale from $17 per pair to $10 per pair. I had to leave behind my last pair in Bali. They still functioned but had lost the sparkle applications. These are great summer shoes. I pray this Penney store stays open for those of us who live here and for the employees. I do not know what is the deal with JC Penney. I do not feel like I spend much here but often I get $10 off at check out. It is like, here I am, ready to pay, and they are like: "Oh, you have a $10 reward available, do you want to use it today?", and I am like, "do you mean if I want to pay $13 or just $3?"... Lol, no brainer. Our cashier this visit was Koury and my husband and I were observing her interactions with customers while we were waiting in line. She was very upbeat, friendly and professional. You know how some people have a gift to convert otherwise mundane interactions into seemingly meaningful interactions? That was Koury. Overall a very good shopping experience... we got great deals from the clearance section. read more

This store a big 70% off clearance section in the front corner and I love that this is an affordable place to shop. However, the people who work the checkout counter are incredibly rude. The girl checking me out straight up told me helping me with a question was a hassle and waste of time because she had a line behind me she needed to deal with. Do not want to go back. read more

*** UPDATE *** This JCPenney now has a Disney store in it! Before going back to the Valley for "Winter", we decided to stop in for a few things and we discovered that they had built a little Disney shop inside the children's clothing department. It has plush toys, dolls, collectibles, princess dresses, backpacks, and toys, of course! Cars, Frozen, Toy Story, Monster's Inc, Disney Princesses, and more! It is nicely laid out and easy to find, and pricing is in-line (or better) than on-line, and with coupons, it's an even better value. Nice job, JCP. What a fun find. read more

They dont care if they open late, they do not greet you or even speak to you unless you ask a question, you can't touch anything and the LAST thing they want to do is actually have to offer assistance, you know, because you're a leper and all. This review is for the Sephora inside JC Penney. I was super excited that I could finally get my favorite products here in town and try out some things I've seen online. Because it is inside a jcp, it is considerably smaller than a standalone store. In regards to the size, it is similar to many other Sephora inside jcp stores. I've been to this location several times and each time the quality and customer service seems to go down. First is the employees. The first few times I came the employees were helpful and welcome. The current employees however are rude and uninterested. My last visit, 3 of the 4 employees were huddled in the corner too busy staring at their phones to notice I was ready to check out. When I was noticed, the girl made it seem like the biggest inconvenience. Only one employee was actually on the floor stocking and helping customers. Another time, two employees were too concerned about choosing songs on Spotify to play in the store than help. Also noted that it was the free Spotify and was playing ads throughout the store. Really unprofessional. The next issue with this Sephora store is the product shelves. I understand this is a small store and may run out of certain shades quickly. But this store is almost always empty. And I'm not talking about limited edition or just released products. So many of the shelves in varying brands are empty. It's almost as if this store doesn't get anything to restock. Last is the customer service and just weird things in general. As I said earlier the employees aren't great or helpful, like ones at regular Sephora stores. They also seem to pick and choose what customers they give free samples to. Not the free samples you can request or points rewards, but ones given at checkout. A nice thing the store offers is online ordering for products they may be out of. Sounds great right? But be aware this is NOT through Sephora's website. It's through Jcp. I unknowingly did this and when asking if I would get my points as the employee didn't ask for my VIB card, she said I had to call Sephora's customer service if I wanted them. Another weird thing is gift cards. The ones sold in stores are jcp gift cards and can't be used at actual Sephora stores or Sephora's website. Overall this Sephora is pretty awful. I'll only come here when I desperately need something. I'll stick to actual Sephora stores and online where the customer service and reward benefits are significantly better. read more

I don't know if we're all tolerating poor customer service as an off shoot of covid but the service here is horrible, the cashier/janitor made me wait while she cleaned the entire 4 register check out area plus the shopping carts that were standing nearby. Did I mention there was only one customer service counter open in the store and I had to walk across the store just to pay for my stuff? I guess with business being down stores are short staffed and this is the new normal, just another reason to shop online. read more

Stole my mother's ring!! My father got my mother a ring here for Christmas last year. He paid to have the lifetime warranty on it and everything was good. The other day they came in to have a stone replaced. They are now being told that they can't fix the ring and the company is keeping it!! They also offered them only a $25 gift card!! WARNING!! DON'T BUY JEWELRY FROM THEM!! Let alone buy a warranty on that piece because if something happens to it they will not fix it and keep your jewelry. That is an awful awful company policy. Unless JCPenney decide to give my mother her ring back, I personally will not shop at any JCPenney store again. If giving them no stars was an option, that is what I would choose. read more

Initially I was so excited that we were finally getting a Sephora in JCP. After my experience today I will never be returning. Upon entering the manager told me to check my email for a beauty insider coupon that was valid this week, and I proceeded to find it in my email. The email explicitly included a code that is supposed to be used at checkout online or IN STORE. When I presented the coupon, both cashiers repeatedly told me to look for a barcode on the coupon, which was no where to be found. The email specifically says to use the code, and the cashiers refused. When once again I calmly read them my email that said use this code in store on this day, the male cashier accused me of triggering his anxiety attack, and attacking him. If the Sephora employees can't even handle customer conversations calmly without accusing customers of attacking them, then I will no longer be a Sephora customer. read more
