Just like any other Target store, this location offered a wide variety of products, ranging from groceries to electronics. We were specifically shopping for baby items, and for the most part, we were able to find everything we needed. The only item we could not find was bottle washing basins. It was a little surprising that they did not carry them, but it ultimately was not a major issue. The parking situation was somewhat chaotic, especially on the weekend when there were many customers shopping at the same time. Despite the busy parking lot and the crowds, it was still nice to have a Target store available in the area. Overall, it was a convenient and familiar place to shop. read more

Target definitely comes in handy when you need something and this Flagstaff location is no exception! We spend a fair amount of time in the area and I cannot remember a trip where we didn't visit this Target on multiple occasions. Whether for toiletries, medication, groceries, clothing, school supplies, games, gadgets or gifts, we all know that Target has pretty much anything you need and more. The only problem is that when you go into Target with a list of things you need or even just an item or two in your head, it's extremely difficult to walk out with just those things and not way more! Disappointing and disturbing experience, especially during Christmas. My minor daughter and I stopped at this store because a limited-edition item was listed as in stock and available for pickup. We first asked a team member for help and were told they were too busy. I then asked to speak with a manager. Ashley became involved and offered to check in the back. I thanked her and explained that it's difficult for me to see well enough to search the shelves myself, which is why I needed help. My daughter again thanked her with a huge smile. Imagine my surprise when she returned with the store manager, Geoff, who immediately accused me of being rude to Ashley and threatened to remove me from the store--without asking what happened or attempting to de-escalate. The threats were repeated publicly in front of other customers and employees, despite there being no raised voices or inappropriate behavior. Instead of a simple apology for inaccurate inventory, we were dismissed with "you have to understand, we're busy." Geoff also refused to provide a business card or clearly identify himself and mocked me for the very genuine suggestion of updating their inventory to keep other / future guests from having the same experience especially considering the holidays and this being a hot item. Upsetting for my daughter and a missed opportunity for what should have been a positive holiday memory. read more

I had a blast at this Target. I bought 12 candles, each varying in size and flavour, including Bourbon Casket, Fresh Hay (Fresh out of stock LOL! ), Autumn Leaf Pile, and Green Oak & Moss. This MARVELOUS employee, Ashlyn, said my collection smelled like Pansies, and that my outfit was so beautiful ! She even wanted to know where my blouse was from. Amazing work Ashlyn. Shoutout to whomever (I think probably staff member) found my husband's ATM card and turned it in to their lost and found!! We didn't realize it was missing until the next day and only after much brain searching were able to figure out where it might have been lost. Called the store and talked to Gage, who couldn't have been nicer and more helpful! Checked to see that they had it (thank goodness they did!) and told us we could pick it up any time within 30 days. As much as we wanted to run back right then, we were hundreds of miles away but were going back through a few days later. Picked it up with no problem...and continued on our vacation. If I had to start a rating based on parking alone it would be zero. This cluster of a parking lot is a nightmare no matter how you come into it. From the main road there is construction going on and traffic on a weekend makes it harder from the light. If you're coming from the nearby lot with Peter Piper etc it's just as horrible. Parking fills up quick so you'll have to park out far. Once inside if you make it however is nice. Looks updated and of course has a Starbucks with seating area. The store is clean and organized. We came for some birthday gifts today and the selection of toys we were looking at was great. Check out our cashier was friendly and made it easy. read more

This place was gross! It looked like Black Friday customers had ravaged the place on a Wednesday afternoon. Piles of clothes all over the floors, changing rooms filled with clothes, impossible to find anything because everything was strewn everywhere. The mirrors were dirty, the floors a mess, the checkout was lines after line. Got an icee at the cafe/Starbucks and couldn't pay for it there, had to go through the lines at checkout. This didn't feel like a target experience at all, Target should be appalled by this store. read more

After the remodel, this Target sucks, sucks, sucks! The only plus is the CVS pharmacy that has great employees but as for the rest of the store, everyone is primarily clueless! On their app items are showing in stock but the employees cannot find them. The remodel turned this location into a concept store and it is just horrible with fewer items and just an all-around challenge finding anything! I find myself doing an online order for pick up at one of their Valley locations when I'm down there as they have the products that I purchase here in stock always, unlike this Flagstaff location! I used to spend a lot of time and a lot of money here prior to the remodel, so I guess I should thank them for saving me money, LOL! I cannot conceptualize me ever liking this "concept" location and just wish they would get back to the basics! read more

Had to make a stop here when we got to flag to grab a few things for the day. There's plenty of parking and was happy to see a Starbucks when we walked in. Of course we had to grab some drinks and then got our shopping on. Walking through the store it was clean and we found exactly what we needed at a great price. I prefer Target over Walmart any day and always find the stores are clean and plenty of friendly associates ready to help if needed. Okay, so of course Target gets five stars as a store- it basically has everything. As a husband whose wife calls this place her second home, how could I not give it a high review... I mean I feel like I've paid at least in part for the recent remodel and half of the things that are in that store are in my wife's first home (aka, where we live together). In addition to this being where I can find my wife 3 out of 5 days of the week, it really does have everything. Need some groceries, it's here.... ran out of toothpaste? got it... last minute birthday party your kid was invited to? You can get the toy, the card and the birthday bag! Don't even get me started on home decor... cruise through the home aisles and you'll likely get an idea of what my living room looks like. In all honesty, the staff is friendly, the store is clean and we can grab a coffee to power up before the shopping trip. Target wins... like always. **word of caution though, NAU move in week/weekend is mid-August and it is a ZOO! Proceed with caution. read more

I'm a big fan of the pickup service target offers now. It's super easy to do on the app and it's usually ready pretty quick. You're not charged if something's unexpectedly out of stock, and you can choose to have the worker put it in your trunk so you don't have to roll down the window. Very efficient! read more

We visited late in the afternoon on Black Friday. We drove in from Albuquerque on our way to Phoenix. My parents really wanted two specific games, which I know are carried at Target. Because it was Black Friday, I made the decision that we should wait until later in the day to visit the big red dot....when the door busting people would be done shopping and napping after being away at 5am. This location is easily within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at, and the weather was wonderful, so we went on foot. It was naturally a bit of a mess inside.And one of the games I wanted had been scooped up. But there were others to peruse. My least favorite thing were the several panhandlers hanging out just on the corner near the store. I have nothing for them (Cards Against Humanity won't feed you) and on the way back to the hotel, we kept a large berth. Nothing spectacular about our Target trip, nothing terrible. Despite my hatred of all that is shopping, this Tar-zhay served a valuable purpose on our most recent trip to Williams, Flagstaff, and the greater Grand Canyon area. it seems my lovable niece, every bit a young teenager, forgot her entire suitcase on our living room floor... In Arcadia. Thank Jeebus for Target. In a matter of about a half an hour, she was adequately equipped for not only the dry cold of our holiday weekend in Williams, but also reasonably appointed for family photos at the Grand Canyon. The standard fare of just about every other Target can be found here. Maybe it's because Flagstaff is a college town, but for 38° outside, there were an awful lot of bicycles parked in front of the store. As an aside, hanging in the parking lot around 7:30 PM measured about a 4.6 on the people-watch-o-meter. Flagstaff, you're a fine looking town... Warts and all. read more

WHEW. This Target was rough. Like, half the shelves were empty on a Sunday night, kinda rough. Not sure if it's always like this but during this particular trip it was ransacked. You see, my husband forgot to pack several items for 10 day long trip out to Arizona (including face soap, shaving cream, and....underwear) so, when we went up to the Grand Canyon, a stop into this Target on the way was in order. Alas, several of the things we were looking for were out of stock so we had to make do without. His usual face soap, size medium underwear, and several other items, were all missing from the shelves. I have never seen a Target with so many gaps in their stock. The Starbucks there was fine. Staff was ok. If it weren't so bare it would be your regular, run of the mill Target experience. But the emptiness made it one to remember. Unfortunately, if you're in the area, there isn't really another Target nearby (closest one is 1.5 hours away) so you'll have to make do with this one best you can. read more

I frequent this Target about once a week to re-stock my baby items (diapers, formula, cute onesies on sale, etc). Yes, it's a very busy location, but that's because Target in itself is super popular AND this is the closest walkable grocery store to the university. So, of COURSE it's going to be busy! Just prepare yourself for it and be open to the fact it might require some patience. Since the re-design, I think it has a very sleek, clean look on the inside. They have a Starbucks and a mini café on the inside, as most Targets do. This location also has self-check out, which is great for quick service. Take a tip from me if you want your Target stuff but don't want the hassle: Download the Target app, create an account for free, and you can browse items that are in stock if you choose the Flagstaff location. It will even show you what aisle your item is in, and how many are left in stock. Even better, and honestly this is what I do: download the app, fill your cart with items, select "Drive Pick Up", and check out/pay with your app. You will be notified when your order is prepared; they say this can take up to two hours, but I've never had to wait more than 40 minutes to be notified that my order was ready for pick up. Then, just drive to your Target location and you can park in the dedicated front parking spaces, and a Target employee will walk your order out to your car. All you do is sign and go, you don't even need to get out of your car. This eliminates any parking issues, browsing for stock issues, line/payment issues. It's an amazing feature, especially for somebody like me who hates having to lug her newborn in and out of the car for a few essential items. read more

2nd time here since the recent remodel. And yikes. The new layout isn't too horrible but it just doesn't work. The aisles are smaller and everything has been squashed in a way to make it almost needed to circle around the entire store. Bad for my wallet, but target has my soul anyway. I actually like the department store-like home and kitchen areas. But when there's more than one person and a cart, it's incredibly small and awkward to look at anything. Moving on to the bad... there were tons of employees likely due to it being the holidays. Totally makes sense. Yet the place was a mess and dirty, grimey, etc. What the heck are these employees even doing? Not cleaning or tidying the store. Cause target's in house dining drinks and popcorn bags were littered and half the tables and shelves were sticky or gross likely from children. The infamous dollar section was severely lacking as well. Pretty disappointing. Along with this, the worst, weirdest, trashiest people and their dozens of bratty children who fit the 'people of Walmart' type seemed have crawled out of their Hills Have Eyes trailers and taken a trip to Target. So much screaming and running around. So many old cigarette and b.o. smells. Yes this happens everywhere but when did Target's atmosphere get so trashy? Might come back for things I absolutely need, but I'll keep my Target trips to online from now on. read more

I certainly appreciate renovation however this is to the extreme. Restrooms outside that are not quite Porta potty's but yes the potties disgusting. Hard to find specific items in the reorganization. My cart-wheel did not credit me for my 10% discount on my item: all in all just a frustrating visit. Took my wife here to complete her shopping for her friend's baby shower. The store appeared very clean. It was neat and orderly. There was staff around to assist us, and they were friendly as well. Unfortunately, they did not have many of the items that were on our friend's registry. That was too bad. 3.5 stars overall. There positives outweigh the negatives at this location. read more

My husband and I popped in for a quick and very last minute Father's Day gift but wound up purchasing so much more. (Oh husband, did you need three more pairs of shorts? No? Well, too bad, they are on sale. Oh and these shirts. They're on sale too.) We did eventually make it to the DVDs for the said Father's Day gift, but then we also wound up buying Season 1 of True Detective. (It was on sale!) We then somehow managed to make it out of the store with only one more item (gift wrap for that pesky gift that started this whole trip). Overall, this is your average Target. The parking lot is huge, the store is even bigger, and everything is on sale. Fortunately, this Target is well lit and looks clean. It is organized well and flows together. Next time I'm in Flagstaff, I'm sure I'll be back for "just one item". read more

They are also renovating it, and it appears they have limited supplies on many things due to the renovation. Items are also, not where they normally were in the past. I have pneumonia and had my prescriptions sent to the CVS in Target. I called and let them know I have not gotten my COVID test results yet, but needed the antibiotics, and asked if they could bring them out to the drive up pick up. They said no. So I can't go inside to get them and they won't bring them out. So I requested they send my prescriptions to another pharmacy with a drive thru. This was 5pm on Thursday. Friday morning they still have not transferred them, but now are saying they can't transfer prescriptions until 1pm today. New pharmacy will need about 4 hours to process everything as well. CVS pharmacy in Target is the worst. Waiting for 24 hours to get medications for pneumonia is despicable. read more

I loved the old Target. I have went a few times now with the new layout and product selection and it just isn't working. The layout is simply AWFUL. Things aren't placed where they make sense, and there is a long wall blocking off the back sections of the store from the middle making you have to walk around (and subsequently do more shopping) to get to the back. Target used to have a lot of nice and inexpensive tv stands and home goods. All of that is gone and there is now a tiny home section in its place. Several other products previously found here are no longer. If this is "progress" for Target, well, it's time for me to spend money elsewhere. read more

I love this target for everything but wine. Every time I buy wine there it is corked and awful. I have tried so many times to buy wine from here and it's terrible every time. You can't even return the wine when it is corked and this time when I tried to, I got terrible customer service and they were just plain rude. If you are trying to just try a bottle of wine I wouldn't suggest buying it from target ever. Or go in for good customer service. read more

Creature of Habit I can be described as a creature of habit. I am all about convenience and what is easiest for me. So when I need to pick up a few miscellaneous items this is my Target Store of choice; afterall it's closet to my home. Targret, is a well rounded store. Target usually has what I need to purchase, when I need it. Target seems to have enough associates working to handle customer inquiries, hours are conducive to allow anyone the ability to shop, prices are competitive with other retailers, and I definitely prefer Target or Walmart. Tagert isn't my favorite place to shop but it sure does well in a pinch. read more
