The barn bros was a great find. We were browsing around the city looking for places to antique and came across this little parking lot setup. It is on the corner of Route 66 and First St. The layout was easy to navigate and browse through the things they had to offer. These people are scammers!! We were trying to get rid of a large leather couch, prior to bringing it over to them I sent a email with multiple photos attached asking for an estimate if it was worth bringing. The gave me a range of $75-125 depending condition when it got there. There was no damage or anything from when the pictures were taken to when it got to their place. They then offered us $30 for it, when email was brought up they just said they didn't know and that's what they were offering now. Would not bring anything to these people!! read more

They wasted our time with promises over text, in person, and over the phone that they would come take several pieces of furniture only to have them claim that since they couldn't make enough money off our furniture so would not take any of it. Stopped here on my "tour" of several thrift stores here in Flagstaff. Like others, I thought this place was "just OK". It's quite a mess out front with "junk" just thrown into piles. Frankly, that mess would discourage a lot of people from looking further! But venturing back into the "store" where the furniture is, there were some pretty pieces, But as another poster said, there's no prices on anything! Apparently, buyers have to "make an offer" which can be (or not! ) to their favor, depending on the sales person you speak to. I did get a pair of lamps that I like, and that I thought were a fair deal... But there was quite a bit of haggling involved. The key is, as a buyer, to know your merchandise and the value of things. Having said all that, if I lived here, I would check in on a regular basis to see what "treasures" there might be. read more

I've never sold to them nor have I had them pick up furniture from my place so can't say anything on that end but shopping here is easy & their prices are reasonable. I've bought several really great pieces. Most of the things I've purchased need a little TLC so I marked them down one star for that & a couple other things. However, it's not surprising or unreasonable to expect some wear & tear when you're buying used & you're able to inspect each piece before purchasing so I've never been disappointed with a purchase from them. They get new inventory in frequently from what I saw which is nice. I tend to forget about them but decided to stop in the other day & shockingly found exactly what I was looking for (rare when shopping used but it happens & it's fantastic when it happens). The shelves I found were very tall, thin, wooden & sturdy. Had to find extra brackets to hold the shelves which are kind of unique but it's ideal for my space & dimensionally could not have been better even if I built some myself for the space. Very pleased. Everyone has always been super nice (except one time years ago at their old location), so overall my experiences with purchasing & interacting with everyone here has been very pleasant. There's a super kind lady who sells jam there, at least the two days recently I popped in so if you want used furniture at a great price & jam from a nice woman, I do recommend haha. I'll likely see about selling to them if I'm unable to sell the several large furniture pieces on Facebook marketplace or something & see how they are about that process. I'd love it if they improved their space a bit to feel nicer inside, but again: used furniture. So it's fine but could make the experience better & may help them get a better rating, as I was surprised it's so low. read more

I own a nearby business and frequent this place. I have furnished 3 rentals and a restaurant using finds from here. I have gotten to know the people over time quite well. You seriously could not find better people than David and his family who now own the place. They are awesome. And I love that I can always negotiate to get what I need for the price I need it. Highly recommend always checking here before elsewhere, they usually have a great selection! read more

One of the owners came out to house to view estate items. He offered $650 for 10-20 items on tables in living room, 2 lamps, 1 chest of drawers, all tools in garage, stated he didn't want any fabric, Xmas decorations or other furniture. He also offered to take everything if I paid him $1500. I accepted $650 for the items he wanted. He showed up with 2 workers and told them to fill 20 totes and take everything they thought would sell. As the began to load an extreme amount of items including fabric and Xmas decor and other furniture I protested saying that was not our deal. He had left and didn't answer his phone. His crew said they would unload everything or else take all they wanted. The crew stated $650 was not a fair price. After they left the owner called and lied about our agreement (which was witnessed by myself and 2 other people present. He said to give him 2 weeks to look over what was in truck and he would call me. 2 months later no call. These guys are crooks. read more

The people working here do not wear masks. Or distance of any sort. I felt uncomfortable being in this establishment and do not plan to return even when covid is over. Their blatant lack of respect for their customers safety (which a lot of these customers are elderly) is just not worth any piece of furniture to me. There are so many better antique places in town that follow CDC guidelines and have better pieces AND prices. read more

Great option if you've got furniture that you can't seem to unload. I needed to get rid of a few larger furniture items and Barn Bros came when they said they would and communicated really well throughout the process. I will say I was a little disappointed with the payout but when you're in a position of needing it taken care of, Barn Bros really came through. read more

Barn Bros is the best, very efficient and easy to work with. We ended up needing to empty out our cabin before a short closing period, and Ben and his crew were able to show up on short notice to buyout the contents of our place. The Barn Bros is in the business of resale at the expense of the people whom they buy from. Their negotiation techniques seem fair on the surface when they offer you about half of what they say they will sell your items for. I brought in a set of wood chisels that had only been used once. I told the young man I was dealing with that Lowes or Home Depot wants about $35 for the set. They offered me $6 for the chisels, saying they "could sell them for $10" (that seems fair). Long story short, my wife and I stuck around and browsed the store, and we stumbled upon the chisels I sold them. They were marked at $19 for the set, nearly twice what they said they would be able to sell the items for. I confronted the young man who purchased these items from me, indicating my displeasure with his dishonesty, and he had nothing to say about what he had done, as he simply turned his back to me after smirking at me. The lady who was working at the cash register (one of the owners wives, I'm assuming) told me "I could buy the items back if I was upset." Buy the items back at nearly a 400% MARKUP?!?! That is ASININE!!! Sellers beware, buyers, consider the fact that you are paying a premium for an item that someone got screwed on when they sold it to the Barn Bros. And if you think this is bad, take a look at the Barn Bros website. According to their website, www.thebarnbros.com, under the "Who We Are" tab, they say it is their mission to "...buy and sell at amazingly low prices and impact needy people, as well as giving back large portions of profit to those in need in the Flagstaff community..." Flagstaff was once a small town filled with humble individuals who realized the importance of honesty, integrity, and reputation. If you want to contribute to greed and dishonesty, as well as unethical business practices, this is the place to consign/sell to, and shop. Take your business to an organization who appreciates and values community and local prosperity, as well as their REPUTATION. I strongly encourage the community to NOT support the "local business" Barn Bros, as they obviously are in it to make a couple of easy dollars by stabbing people in the back. read more
