I would never step in that store again. Try this on for size. I went in the store with a burnt out special light bulb. They went and found what they thought was the replacement I needed....$8 each. I went home and replaced the bulb to find out it was less than half the brightness of the other bulbs in the lamp.....there are nine bulbs in the lamp. I had purchased nine of these bulbs because I didn't want to go through this again. I returned to the store to learn that they could not replace the bulb I needed and they WOULD NOT GIVE ME CASH BACK.....store credit only. To summarize, they gave me the wrong item, couldn't get the right item, and wouldn't give me my money back. NO RETURNS IN THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING BUT STORE CREDIT.....EVEN IF THEY GAVE YOU THE WRONG ITEM! read more

Each time we stop-in, we are impressed with the vast collection of lighting, furniture and home decor items. It's fun to browse, and we always leave with at least one special item for our home. This last time, we found two new beautiful lamp shades that compliment our home perfectly. Customer service is spot-on, always courteous and helpful. Prices are very reasonable, considering the high-end selection of merchandise. It's wonderful to find such a wide selection of high-end furniture, lighting and home decor items in this part of Arizona! We understand that they have now purchased K's Lighting in Prescott, and will be expanding that wonderful little gem as well. I was incredibly disappointed in the service I received from the Lite Company when I ordered custom furniture. Not only was there zero communication when the order was going to be delayed 6+ months, but trying to get a refund was not easy. The owner's attitude was terrible. Her response when we asked why she did not advise us we'd be waiting yet another 6 months for delivery was "well I can't call everyone". Really? When the order is over $7K, I think picking up a phone to let a customer know about a lengthy delay is a small detail that any good business owner would do. Then, after a fight to get our money back, she made us pay the credit card fee for the down payment on the furniture. We ended up with no furniture, a $300 fee and being treated poorly. Good customer service is NOT something you will receive if you shop there. read more

Helpful staff but poor policies. Would only issue store credit for $30 light bulb that did not work in a fixture bought from them. So now we have a fixture that won't work (tried 2 sets of correct bulb s) and a store credit we won't use. read more

I had been searching for a new dining room ceiling light when I noticed the Lite Company was having a sale. I stopped in and of course found the perfect light. I bought it for half price and called my electrician for installation. After it was installed I noticed the globes/glass around each bulb where not set properly They were crooked, leaning, not straight up and down. My electrician and I worked on them and could not fix them. I went to The Lite Company and asked if someone would please come out and fix the lights for me. Gary and Emily helped me out so much. Gary came out the next day and fixed the lights. Done in about 5 minutes. I could not have been happier! Thank you and kudos to Gary and Emily!! I will come back the next time I am in need of something. So helpful and kind! Hard to find that kind of work ethic anymore these days. Again, thank you so very much!! read more

Special ordered over $7k worth of furniture but when it came in and it was delivered the Timber Designs table and chairs where awkward, way over priced and extremely uncomfortable. the Lite Company had no refunds nor would they take them back on consignment. There were no exchanges, no buy backs and wouldn't do anything to help except apologize to a very disappointed customer. I rarely leave a bad review but I will never do business with this company nor the manufacturer again. read more

Ordered a package of light fixtures and a highly recommended ceiling fan by their salesman. He also recommended a particular light fixture for our MBr. He said he'd ordered that fixture for the same model home MBR as ours and said it would work great in ours. Took his recommendations. Waited several weeks longer than it should have taken for the package to come in. The fan light kit would take months longer to receive. An electrician installed everything except the fan light kit which was back ordered. The bedroom fixture hung so low we would have to walk around it to avoid bumping into it. Since it was custom ordered and installed we can now only sell it on consignment through Lite Company. No refunds. The much touted ceiling fan had a bad motor and another would have to be ordered. This time a Lite Company installer replaced the fan, but the installer failed to level the replacement fan. When the back ordered fan light kit and replacement MBr fixture finally came they were delivered, but not installed as Light Company had promised. Installed the fan light kit and discovered a crooked plate on the bottom of the fan to which the light kit attaches so the light kit which is installed correctly is off about 15 degrees in relation to the fan. Within 10 minutes of installing the light kit one of the light kit bulbs burned out. read more

Don't be fooled by the sign outside. This place is filled with the most beautiful furniture I've seen in Flagstaff (and many other places for that matter). The furniture is on the expensive side when compared to Target or Pier 1 but the quality is much, much higher and the prices are not unlike online choices, as another reviewer mentioned. They are locally-owned, and Mike and Kathie go out of their way to provide personalized assistance to every customer. There is no pressure to buy something if it doesn't fit your personal style and needs. Look for Omnia leather--the best designs and USA-manufactured furniture, wrought iron bar stools, Tiffany-style lamps, Amish made chairs and wood tables accented by one-of-a-kind runners and napkins, ceiling fans you won't find at Home Depot, mirrors, and art that meets the architectural challenges of high ceilings and large walls. My nationally known architect, Bill King, and his contractors, rely on The Lite Company for their clients, as do the best builders in this part of the state. They don't refer customers to the low end retailers, and there's no need to go to the Valley because everything I need is in this terrific store or can be ordered for you.
