This is a good thrift store. Even though it's corporate like Goodwill, and not a charitable effort, like the Salvation Army, their pricing is like a true thrift store. There are still bargains to be had. This location was quite large and had a good selection of clothing and general items. There's a low price retailer next-door so your thrifty shopping has two chances to win. Thrift stores need changing rooms. Period. Since they have taken the changing rooms out during covid, 80% of the clothes I buy here don't fit me or I don't like them once I put them on to wear. Shame on savers for taking them out of their store. Selection is decent. This store is also a disorganized mess. But this review would be at least 4 stars if they had fitting rooms. But since they don't it's one Star. Would leave -5 here until they put fitting rooms back in. Just ridiculous. read more

Was happy to find Savers on a quick trip to Flag. I scored some great half price items (it was gray tag day). I have to say the way their Halloween area was set up was super nice. They have categories like Vampires with used clothing and new accessories. Looks like a newer store. Very clean and in a nice shopping center. **November 2021 Visit** Came here to find some pieces for some cosplays I'm working on and was successful in finding quite a few pieces! The store is very VERY spacious and prices are fair. Their active wear section is pretty expansion, but I couldn't find any short denim jeans. They had a robust women's section, and at least two full rows of mens clothes. The customer service was also very pleasant and if I come back to Flagstaff I would definitely come back here to peak around and see what other new goodies they get in! Any resale shop is hit and miss, but I find Savers to be the most consistent option in Flag. They have sales all the time- and that's on top of their great prices- so it's a great place to check out. Unlike some thrift stores, they price items individually, and sometimes I think they are asking too much for used items. read more

had a return they wouldn't accept because "when i see a tag like this i won't accept it"... you mean an attached tag? then they repriced a pair of jeans i was going to exchange for and basically doubled the price . i originally bought a pair of levi jeans on a 50% off day and got them for 12 bucks. went in to exchange, grabbed a pair of old navy jeans priced at 10 bucks with a big hole on the pocket (just need some jeans for ranch work). young girl asked another girl to reprice the pants. came back and said they're now gonna be $19. JFC yall out your mind if you think anyone is gonna pay $19 for pants with a giant hole in the pocket. mind you the two girls took about 10 minutes to even help me out at the register was they were too busy gossiping about some coworkers. wouldn't accept my exchange, now i'm stuck with pants that don't fit because a second hand store is too money hungry for an extra 9 bucks. young girl was a dark brunette or black hair with glasses. i've always seen her help one customer every ten minutes when there's a line so she can gossip with the other young girl with blonde streaks. i remember again why i don't shop here for work clothes. place is a joke. read more

I am in huge Savers shopper in Tucson and Phoenix. This store was disappointing. I didn't buy anything. Bummer!

All of the staff is super kind and helpful!! The products are great and an extremely clean store. My only problem is one of the employees, Sarah. She's quite rude and not very respectful of personal space. She wants to get her job done and won't stop when people are in her way; and I would like to add that she never says "Excuse me" or even a "sorry". Overall I love this place and It's one of my favorite thrift stores in town, but Sarah needs to be talked to on customer service. The rest are lovely :) read more

While we were in Flagstaff for the Twin Arrows grand opening, we decided to pop some tags and check out a few thrift stores and pawn shops. This store is located down the street from a Goodwill and was on our way back toward the freeway to Phoenix, so it was convenient. They have a nice variety of items from household to clothes. I must admit. I am not the biggest fan of thrift stores, but as far as thrift stores go, Savers is one of the best. That being said, this location is pretty good. They have a wide variety of items to choose from including clothes, suitcases, sneakers, belts, you name it, they might have it. I have been to several of these stores throughout the country and they almost always have something for me, regardless of what I am looking for. However, while this is a great store, I have a real problem with the cleanliness and customer service here at times. On more than one occasion, I was shocked to see some sections of clothes shaking off dust as if they were stored in an attic for a while. That is not good for my allergies, and as a consequence, I sometimes get sick after being here. Also, sometimes I find that the items they sell at this location are defective, and some of them (such as holes in a suitcase) really trouble me and make me wonder whether they are checking their wares. Checking your items should be a common practice for everyone, but for some reason I get the feeling that they are not always checking them here and that I have had more issues here than others. The customer service here is also somewhat lacking. While the staff is friendly, there is often a long line of customers here, sometimes more than 10 people deep, and it takes a while for them to get another person on the register. Its worth the wait though for great selections and prices, and I really enjoy shopping here when I do. I just don't think its a 4 or 5 star experience overall given my history with this place. read more

I liked their kitchen section and ran in to find a USB cable and camera charger. After testing the camera charger I did not end up purchasing because it was not working. Savers is hugggeee. If you are looking for a specific item or clothing there will be a lot to sift through. It is kind of daunting at first. I have gotten a few cute clothing items from here, but as with places like Goodwill, you have to check to make sure shirts you are trying on aren't stained/smelly/faded/stretched out, etc. Some things at places like this and others really shouldn't make it to the racks. This thrift store has a huge shoe selection compared to other thrift stores in town. I got my favorite pair of sneakers here for $6. There is also a nice kitchen section where you can get really nice plates, etc for cheap prices. My Aunt has found things here that when looked up on Ebay are actually worth money. SAVERS IS THE BEST STORE EVER! I am a faithful shopper here. The store is huge and always has new inventory. I like that their clothes are washed, and also it is very organized. Everything is arranged by type of clothes, size, down to the color so you don't have to "dig" like at Goodwill, at it's much cleaner. I I could (and have) spent hours in their looking through everything. Tons of selections and unbeatable prices. I can hardly bring myself to pay full price anymore and always get compliments on my outfits from Savers. They also have daily deals in which a certain tag color is half off...can't beat it! Update: I bought a pair of black dress slacks at the mall for over $50 (ugh!! But I needed them badly...) I happened to go to Savers the next day and found 2 of the EXACT SAME PAIR, right size, excellent condition, in a regular and a long length so I could wear with flats and heels (bonus!) AND it was also a MLK 1/2 off sale so I got them for $2 each! Like, really? You cannot beat that. So I returned the original pants and was sure to tell them why! This place rocks! =) read more

I can't believe savers accused me for switching all the tags on the items I got, like they aren't already cheap as is because they're used! My daughter handed me the things she got as we were walking up to the counter and I was nice enough to take the hangers off of the items we got as we walked up and He literally took all the tags off and said he couldn't sell them to me for those prices. so for them accusing me, I told them to retag them and I'll pay for them but I just left and the main reason why I decided to just leave was because as one of the guys went back to retag them the guy at the checkout said in a rude voice" move, I'm going to help the next people" and that was when I realized that there is no way I am buying them now. Very nice store and recently became a fan after 12-years when this store came to town. Anyways, there's a lot of name brand clothing for men and women. Unlike the mall across the street. Savers sells a majority of their clothing for less than $10! A real steal! Come on, who would want to buy a shirt that's on sale for $60 at Dillard's? Compare to $3 at Savers. Anyways, since I am becoming more of a thrifty shopper now in my 20's. I don't really care about the latest fads as I once did during my teen years in high school. Therefore, if you are a thrifty shopper and want to find killer deals in clothing, books, toys, bags, and kitchenware. This is the place to go. Also, during the Halloween and Christmas season. Found great items. Went to the register only one cashier, with the manager standing over her and 11 people in line. I asked if they were able to open another register, they said please wait in line, it'll be a few minutes. There were 6 employees standing in and around the register, hanging hangers and chatting. We waited over 20mins in line. Finally gets to us and they refused to accept the gift certificate I had, she said it's old and expired. Today is Jan 1, 2016, so technically yes it is one day old. They refused. I asked for another manager; the male manger, very rudely said their off today and no one is going to contact them. I said can you offer a discount of $10 and then take this card? No, we won't do that. I asked if there was anything they could do to accommodate this problem. He said no this is your problem not ours. We are not offering you a discount. I asked if I could have the number for corporate then so I can ask them what I should do to get my $10 value? He said you can get on the website and get it yourself. My eyes grew large in shock. I was flabbergasted, paid--half out of guilt for the people in line behind me and half because it goes to big brother big sisters and left. Hoping this would be the ideal place to do your second-hand shopping. I believe that although Savers is taking steps to offer a pleasant shopping experience, embracing ethical concerns of consumers, and attempting to give back to communities worldwide. Savers is not transparent with their customers. Savers hide behind the facade that they are a nonprofit when they are in fact a business. Now there is no issue with businesses making money. Except, when they try to persuade its consumers that the money is for charity. Seeing prices increase with no disclosure of how much money is being donated to charity is deceiving to the customer. Savers also do not disclose how they dispose of non-quality items. In addition, they also don't disclose anything about who they sell unsold products to in third world countries, how much money is made back in that process, or how it is beneficial to their communities. I believe in order for Savers to better themselves as a company and reputability they need to disclose some of this information to their consumers. read more

Great place! Lots of variety of clothes and of every color you can think of. But sometimes they put the wrong sizes in the wrong area of the rack. So, I have made a habit of looking inside the clothes for the tag to know the sizes. They aren't very organized there (I can tell some of them look like they smoke some pot a little too much in their day), but it's a great clothing store. Just read the tags before buying. read more

If you are looking for used skis, they have them! The things that make it only three stars for me was the filth, I had a thick layer of grey dust on the part of my pants that overlapped my shoes when I left. Although they don't have much for kids I was able to find a few cute outfits for my daughter and some jeans for the boys.
