I would give 4.5 stars just because I wish this store sold more plus size clothing. I wanted to get a costume for my bf who usually wears a 3x+ and is 6'4!!! Luckily, I found other things that worked perfectly and stuff for myself too. The prices are good for the product that you're getting, which is a quality piece that will last a really long time. The lovely woman behind the counter helped me look through several options and wasn't pushy. I didn't feel as if she was forcing my options on me, which allowed for me to consider and go back for what I want. She walked me out and make me feel excited about what I purchased. Dear wedding industry, you can suck it. I bought my wedding dress here for $38. It was a hand made, late-Lawrence Welk era find, with a fur collar. Incahoots is a necesary stop before going on a river trip. Real adventures always involve at least one costume party. Why not be prepared? I need that feather boa, and you know you need that afro wig, and that slutty vest. (You minx!) This shop will not always have what you are looking for, but it will often have what you need to find. They also sell steam punk goggles and tutus. Boys are allowed to wear tutus, in Flagstaff, you know... and girls, they are allowed to chop off thier hair, be super tough, but still love the aforementioned tutu wearing boys...if that is what they are into. Incahoots is like Flagstaff, full of variety, accepting of everyone, and more than willing to leave you alone to do your thing. **Out of towners: park by the train station, or near Macy's for free. This store has been in downtown flag for as long as I can remember. I don't go in often, really only around Halloween actually. They have all kinds of funky second hand things from clothes to wigs and buttons and just a ton of trinkets. I have only ever purchased a little accessory for a costume once or twice but the people that work there are always helpful and friendly. I don't know if I would shop here for everyday stuff but if you're looking for something a little off the wall or funky this is definitely worth a trip. read more

It's about time I write a review for Incahoots considering it's more or less the only store I shop at now that I live in Flagstaff. Everyone there is awesome and super helpful. They have authentic vintage at fair prices and also do costume rentals and have other funky stuff. My first purchase was several years ago when I was visiting with friends for NYE (woo Pinecone drop). I looked in the window that night and saw the exact pair of leopard print tights I'd wanted and went the next day to get them. When I became a Flagstaff resident, I knew I had to go back to the leopard tights store and since then, I have returned again and again (and again). My favorite purchase by far is my gorgeous 1950's lilac Emma Domb chiffon party dress- amazing and so reasonably priced compared to online retailers and other vintage stores! This store may be small, but there are things hidden in every corner. The staff was friendly and made suggestions based on what I like , which of course added to my purchases! I've been coming in here since freshmen year of college and I love this store! Even if I don't buy anything, I just love walking in. It's such a fun store with a variety of actually nice and fun vintage (not too corny/kiddish looking) costumes and clothing. It's like one big treasure chest that you have to dig through. I come here for any costume needs I have. They have tutus in every color and beautiful fun colored wigs!!!! They are reasonably priced... Nothing is too expensive. I'd say that it's pretty cheap for the good quality tutus/wigs/corsets/bustiers/bras they sell. I went in recently kind of frantic at the last minute when they were closing, looking for an outfit to put together for the Katy Perry concert that I'm going to in a few days. The only person working was a very nice, personable, fun girl named Sheila/Shaela (not too sure.) I told her the look I was going for and she was AWESOME help!!!! They had the exact bra that I had in mind... A gold sequined bra in my size! And she gladly let me exchange a yellow tutu I had bought prior for a rainbow one instead. She showed me how to put my head chain on and picked out fun gold lashes for me to wear. She also helped me with what bottoms/shoes I could wear with! Being that they were closing in a few minutes, she didn't rush us out at all and she made me feel like she was genuinely interested in my outfit. She went above and beyond in helping me. I bought 4 pieces and only spent $50. I took one star off only because I know they're pretty rigid on exchanges and almost never allow returns which is inconvenient. They also charge a $1 service fee for using card but I know they give a 10% discount if you use cash. Stop by, you won't be disappointed! read more

I've been working with Incahoots as a consigner and customer for a number of years. I know from experience that they only hire the highest quality people who know the business and are proud of their work. They have a really fun and diverse selection that ranges many decades. I love their funky t shirts and Hawaiian prints through the years. They also have really fun and funky girls stuff...memorably a 60s psychedelic leotard. I was only in Flagstaff for about 12 hours total. Walking down the street in the evening, my boyfriend and I saw this shop and I HAD to pop in. Yes, there is a mix of kitschy things and great second hand and/or vintage pieces. I found this spectacular, true vintage 60's dress for 30$ and scooped it up! This place is a gem and the people who work there were so nice. It was such a relief to find something with real vintage pieces for under 100$ since I'm used to New York City vintage prices. Anyone who loves vintage or just finding unique pieces at affordable prices and you find yourself in Flagstaff, AZ, I highly recommend going to Incahoots! read more

Overall, this place is fabulous. I went in there looking for some suggestive costume pieces for an adult party as two children with their respective parents were shopping for what sounded like costumes for a school play. Incahoots fit all of our needs. They got what they were looking for and so did I, plus a little more! Few suggestions that would go a long way: #1- Have a better way to identify the occupied dressing room. I was lucky and had clothes on when the manager didn't realize I was in there and opened the door by mistake. Someone else might not be as understanding as I was. A simple "Occupied" sign on a string to hang from the door would be smart to avoid that. #2 - GET A FACEBOOK PAGE! It would be so beneficial for not only them but we consumers to have that as a resource. Especially if they post pics of some of the neat stuff they get in :) #3 - Expand the shop. This is always easier said than done but if they had more room, it would be a much more enjoyable shopping experience. That little girl and her mother were kind of cramping me. Still a neat shop to check out. Try to actually look for something though. It's really not big enough to just go in and play around trying on wigs and whatnot. You're taking up space for those of us trying to find something in particular, and there's not a lot to spare. read more

This has to be one of the most fun places to shop, whether you are interested in vintage clothing or want to acquire some cheeky costumes year round. The gent staffing the store helped me bring together my 1970's vision for a Disco Party I was attending, from the polyester dress to the blonde afro wig, it was all so perfect. In a world where customer service has lost its charm & people expect tips for doing nothing, Incahoots stands outside of that mainstream crap that is out there. I have two recommendations for the store #1: acquire the store space next door so the merchandise is easier to view, shop less cramped and #2: get a Facebook page so we can post pics of your cool stuff we buy. read more

I stopped by Flagstaff on a road trip and was so excited by all the little shops. I really liked this shop in particular. It is a small space but there is lots of good finds. I found a holographic disco suit that is just fantastic. The staff helped me find the right size and were very nice. They gave me a student discount too! They were also open late. I only had a couple of hours in a Flagstaff and I made great use of my time. Stopped in here looking for a muumuu and vintage jewelry. It was a Saturday night and crowded. I was eating next door in a diner. I found my muumuu and the owner was lovely and gave me some great recommendations on where to eat. If you are looking for good vintage clothing, this is definitely not the place to go. They have a very little variety of second hand clothing but nothing good as a treasure. If you want something cheap for Halloween then come here. Very small place so you might not want to go on a weekend. They also don't validate if you park in the garage and if that isn't the case then the gal there lied, she said it wasn't needed on Sundays. Street parking is free on Sundays but not in the garage. read more

Great vintage store with low prices! This store is a gem in the center of downtown flagstaff. I always come in to see what's new. The two younger girls that work there are very sweet and helpful and will always inform you about local fun events happening and other shops near by that are worth your wild. Went in to find some clothes for a party a few days ago, and immediately the staff was incredibly rude to us. My buddy tried to take an item down off the shelf, and the staff came over with an absurdly and completely undeserved condescension, telling us that the item wasn't for sale and he couldn't try on the item and then a minute later was talking smack about us to his coworker right in front of us. I was absolutely baffled by the unprofessionalism. Out of some strange cosmic fate, we saw someone walk out of the store two days later with the item that the staff was told wasn't for sale. Maybe the staff was having a bad day but that experience was frustrating enough to leave a negative review here. I love thrift shopping and travel a lot for work and visit shops all around the country. This was by far my worst experience ever. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, everyone has bad days, but this place is a business and should have employees that at least try to make a sale instead of talk smack and condescend, right? read more
