Love this place! So many cute boutique shops, and everyone who works here is genuinely kind. I got sone earrings from a store on the 2nd floor, and a pink sweater from the store below. read more

Super cute place. Very much for the younger crowd. Y2K style clothing and accessories. The vibe is very fun.

My daughter and I went shopping here and we had such a delightful time! I can't explain it but the entire ambiance and vibe was so good. Every store had a unique fresh aura and experience. Overall, we both agreed it was definitely was more of a shopping atmosphere for female shopping though as it doesn't have much at all for men. We got stickers, chocolates, earrings and cute sweat pants! Such good variety of items. They also have bathrooms that are very clean. read more

This is an interesting store in downtown Flagstaff in the basement of a strip mall. The restaurant shares the space with a barbecue please and that's the problem. Although the merchandises are cute and very affordable, the pieces of clothing I bought smelled like barbecue once I came home to Phoenix. I tried calling the store several times and left messages to let them know but no one reached out. read more

Selection. Attention to service overall value. If you fix above a size large don't bother at all.

What's up with the prices for a basement store. Cute, simple stuff, but the prices were to proportionate to the products sold

Love how this place is and all the options to choose from. Clothes, stickers, jewelry and more. Please support this shop inside this mini mall. read more

This is a cool marketplace. There are a few pretty hip shops with items like clothing, jewelry, novelty items and unique souvenirs. I was happy to find some cool tank tops since the weather was changing in the area and they didn't scream tourist but still was something unique to AZ that I could bring back home and remember my time here. Prices were totally reasonable for boutiques and lots of sales to browse through too. Sales associates were really helpful in finding the styles we were looking for. read more

Basement Marketplace - Socks - Women's Clothing Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

This is one of my favorite stores at the moment!! I've only been to the store twice because I live in California but whenever I am in Flagstaff, I shop here. Basement Marketplace is a huge clothing store in downtown Flagstaff. They are located in the Old Town Shops and they are underground. They have a ton of cute clothes for great prices! They also have really good deals. Some of the deals they have are 2 for $15 or 2 for $30. Those are my favorite deals! All of the people who work at BMP are so friendly and helpful. I follow BMP on Instagram and I have even ordered from them using their Instagram page. One time I was looking for an outfit for a specific event and I saw a cute kimono in one of their pictures. I asked them if they had any other kimonos to go more with what I was looking for and they did (showing me multiple options). They were so helpful in picking out different outfits (kimonos and dresses) for me. They were really quick at responding as well. I was able to find the perfect outfit for what I needed! The only downside to ordering on Instagram is that I had to pay for shipping. Paying for shipping won't stop me from ordering on Instagram again, however I probably won't order as often as places that don't charge for shipping. If you are looking for a cute place to shop in Flagstaff, go to Basement Marketplace!! You won't be disappointed! I wish there was a Basement Marketplace in California! Enjoy! Simona read more

Good prices, I especially love the 2/$10 jewelry: my earring collection has grown exponentially here! The accessories are also pretty great, including $10 scarves and gorgeous bags under $50. There's a table by the dressing room that has double sided clothing tape, bra extenders, and pasties-like items for coverage help with tricky, strappy tops. By and large, the clothing is too casual for my tastes and the style is on par with Urban Outfitters marrying Anthropologie at Forever 21 prices- not bad for a college town, and there are good sale items and staples (camisoles in particular). Service is genuinely sweet, and they have a cool loyalty program where you earn $5 coupons as you acquire points for your spending. read more

We disgusted when an employee was wearing a shirt that said real girls have dicks. We had children with us and no matter what your politics might be this was totally inappropriate. Numerous patrons were upset. Does the owner/manager condone this kind of apparel?? Shame on you. That employee can wear that on his own time. Not at work. Long time Flagstaff resident who will not patronize this store again! read more

Okay I know what you are thinking why is a guy writing a review for the Basement Marketplace? There are a few reasons. I stop by Bigfoot BBQ way more than I should and you pass through the Marketplace on your way to the restaurant. I guarantee you will be greeted while walking down the stairs which for me (retail background) I think is top notch. They have some of the best presented fixtures and you can tell they care about their product. My wife will usually point something out that she likes and I will sneak over and grab it for future birthday or anniversary present. They also have some cool little nick knacks that I use to fill up her stocking at Christmas time. So for those above mentioned reasons I give them a giant two thumbs up! read more

Very pretty and cute marketplace and shopping basement. They have good deals from time to time. It is quite pricey though especially their new fashion outfits but it's worth it. They have really good sense of style & so beautiful! Also very friendly staff and they make sure you have what you want or need. Ladies here that work in basement marketplace is just sooooo friendly that's why I love coming back here! Thanks!! read more

Awesome prices and super friendly staff. I am a fiend for funky sunglasses and purchased 4 pair for only $30!! They have clothing, shoes, accessories, and even a section with cool vintage items. If you are in the area I definitely recommend this place. read more

I had so much fun shopping here. I got amazing bargains! Plus, the associates were very helpful and friendly. I got at least 12 items for $70. This place reminds me of a small Urban Outfitter without the guys section. If you're ever in Flagstaff it's worth the visit. read more

So I went in here after a martini and bought more that I should have. But I do love my hat and I think Heather will love the " My friend is a Slut" tshirt that i bought for her. I got a really cool wallet also. Lots of fun Urban Outfitter type gift crap and inexpensive trendy clothes. Cute shop for a college kid. I do regret not buying the sparkly snow ball type bouncing rubber ball. Pink. read more

This place is kindof a hit or a miss. Sometimes, they have really cute stuff...other times not. When they do it can be ridiculously overpriced. But, I love their basic tees 4 for $20 and they have pretty good sales. read more

Read about this place on Yelp, and decided to check it out! LOVE IT! It's like Urban Outfitters, but a tad bit cheaper, a tad less obnoxious, and it has a bar with bbq food in it! As a result, the new top I bought did smell of bbq.... but whatever. If I lived in Flag, I'd totally shop the sales rack at this place every week. read more

Open late so many cool little stores stumbled in here after a good few hours of drinking. Very surprised at how this place looks small on the outside but so big on the inside. It has a very young hip feel to it. Young people and cool quick restaurants and drinks. Downstairs fashion store. Upstairs Novelty store. Cool place to check out. read more

Rudest staff I've ever experienced. Will never be back. Looks like they will be out of business soon anyway.

I was always under the impression that this place was overpriced and avoided it for the first two years I lived in Flagstaff. I'm a fool! This place has some of the best sales. I'm used to seeing ill-fitting, unstylish clothes on the $5 rack at most stores, not here! I've procured some of my most favorite items of clothing from that rack down in Basement Marketplace. Their style is quite a bit like H&M. Some of the clothes I've bought here have been lacking in quality, but it's not an overarching theme. Most of the things I've bought here have become a staple in my wardrobe. read more

This market is amazing. Great location in old town Flagstaff. Also a great place to take the family and shop. Not many shops but still a cool place. It is a place mostly aimed for the ladies. But I did enjoy the chocolate shop read more

Basement Marketplace - Cool little shop - Women's Clothing Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Who decided crop tops were back?! I do enjoy going to the Basement Marketplace any time I'm in Flagstaff as their clothing is similar in nature to H&M. My last visit was a little lackluster as their merchandise appears to be ripped out of Coachella Music Festival flyer: crop tops, fringe everywhere, tight space-themed leggings and cut-off shorts that your momma would make you change. Pros: -great jewelry prices, most are 2 for $10, can really stock up on every-day pieces -sometimes offer mix-and-match clothing items, 2 for $30, etc. -nice staff, very polite Cons: -dressing rooms. I hate the cheap "here's your 3 sided changing box with a sheet hung over the door." -price of clothing, expect to spend $30+ for a shirt not on sale. -BBQ restaurant in same basement. Who decided that? I like BBQ but the smell of it wafts through the clothing store was like some kind of torture. My go-to for jewelry (love my new chain necklaces), but will skip the clothes (and the BBQ). read more

Good sale prices. Cute clothes. Good customer service. Staff was friendly. Lots of fun shops to choose from and an eatery too.

This is a good place to buy really basic items, tank tops, plain t-shirts, leggings etc. They always have buy 2 for such and such price type deals on these items. Other than that, it's a little like H&M in that when you go beyond the basics things get unique, and just not in a way I really prefer. Probably 3.5 stars overall. read more

Wow, I'm so impressed! Amazing little hidden gem! Great deals on clothing, high quality items that would easily have been double the price if you went to a chain store. The staff was beyond wonderful; very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. So sad that they don't have an online presence, I'd love to buy and ship their clothes home! read more

I used to love shopping at the Basement Marketplace, the staff was friendly & the selection was great...BUT NOW: the staff is rather snobby and hardly ever greats you, or are around to help & answer questions. The clothing options have also gone down hill as well, and the selection just reminds me of walking around the LA fashion district (only at much higher prices). This used to be a dependable go-to place for shopping, but now it's not worth looking for parking to go in. read more

Another go-to shopping place when hanging in DT Flag! Exactly as the others described, Urban Outfitters' fans will love this place. Quality is going to be hit/miss for its pricing, but you're shopping here for the look. read more

Love this place! I stop by every time I'm in Flag. The clothes are reasonably priced and super cute. The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. read more

Always find cute things in here ! Noticed the past couple of times items are are getting cheaper - and really prefer higher end items . But the store is worth a look ! The sales girls are always nice . read more

Not the highest quality stuff, but good for a few trendy purchases. Staff has always been friendly over the years, only I wish they didn't hang out around the dressing rooms to give commentary on whatever you're trying on. Worst part is the BBQ joint that makes the whole store smell like some Texas nightmare. read more

Could the customer service be any worse in this place? The sales girls are intrusive, simpering, and insincere, and make you feel unwelcome. They follow you around endlessly, expressing disingenuous comments. Don't waste your time dealing with these jerks! Too bad zero stars is not an option. read more

If you shop on the left hand side of the store, it is definitely affordable. Loved this shop growing up and love it even more now. Lovely ladies who constantly want to help you in any way they can. Don't totally enjoy the smell of Bigfoot bbq while I shop, but it's worth it. read more

I was in Flagstaff on September 10, 2016 for a sports tournament and was wandering around town when I came across this store. There are multiple stores in the building but this location had a great selection of clothes at very affordable prices. I'm not sure if the quality is great, but my daughter loved what I purchased for her. Hopefully they last. read more

I love BMP! I come from Phoenix to flagstaff just to shop at BMP! My favorite place and the gals are amazing!!!

I was killing time downtown and decided to stop in the Basement Marketplace again (for the first time in almost a year). It has such a relaxed atmosphere and a ton of great finds! The styles featured are reminiscent of H&M or Urban Outfitters, without a high price tag. And they have fantastic sales! I picked up a couple gorgeous pairs of earrings that were two for $10. I usually find it pretty easy to say "no" to spending money ... but in this case I just found it hard to say no! I'm a little scared to look at the clothing (I doubt they'd have my size) but I bought my favorite scarf here and it's an absolute must go-to location for great accessories! read more

Cute clothes, over priced for the quality however. Good service from the employees. They always say hello and good bye every time I go! Their underwear and their fleeced lined leggings are their best products ! read more
