I was sad to see that Barnes & Noble, previously located on Milton Road in a large solo building, was no longer there on a recent trip to Flag... However, when I learned that they moved to Flagstaff Mall, I decided to take a trip there one afternoon with the kids. We went to Barnes & Noble as well as a handful of other stores. As others said, this mall leaves a bit to be desired with lots of empty retail space, but we managed to enjoy our time there. Pros: -There is plenty of parking surrounding the mall. -The location is easy to access and it is right across the street from the Harkins movie theater -There is a decent food court -The mall offers a handful of stores that were appealing to me and my kids including B&N, Famous Footwear, Lids, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, GameStop, etc... -There are also some kiosks, cell phone stores, etc... As mentioned above, the cons are really that it's a very small mall with empty space. There also seemed to be some shady characters hanging around, but I think you get that with most malls these days. read more

The mall isn't a bad mall. What I have an issue with is that I am the grandmother of two young boys. They were playing in the indoor play area and there were some much bigger kids who were not playing in a way that made it safe for anyone early elementary or younger and those ages were plentiful. We asked the security guard to get these middle school age children to be more mindful of the young ones. They quite literally said "we can't do anything unless they hurt another child". If that is how they view the safety of our kids I'd rather shop at kohls and play at the park. If the young kids can't be safe playing their because of the older kids and the mall is ok with that maybe their safety isn't any kind of proority so why spend our money there? read more

The mall on the JCPenny side had a lot of vacant space. There are not a large amount of stores. I was looking for hiking boots and there wasn't much to pick from even though there were three shoe shops. For outdoor gear, Downtown is a better bet. However, there's enough variety of stores to browse around for a while. Down the road is a Harkins cineplex. read more

All malls are a bit sad, this is the only mall here in Flagstaff and it had a couple of interesting items that almost made me go full four on it...however it is still a mall. It seemed nice enough (again for a mall) but I probably wouldn't shop here a lot since the stores and other places here just don't draw me. read more

I don't even know what to say about this mall. It's not very large, but I guess that's to be expected. On the day we visited there weren't very many customers at all. The mall itself was clean. There were a number of vacant spots throughout the mall. Not sure if it's busier in the summer time, but I'm really not sure how it is even able to sustain itself if it's frequently like this. That said, there are a few nice stores. There definitely won't be any spending the day at this mall, though. read more

It's unfortunate. This mall used to be nice when I first came to Flagstaff in 2012. They closed the Victoria's Secret store since, and many others. You walk around and it's dead. It's not even fun to walk around anymore. There is a new bowling alley place, but that doesn't spark my interest. I used to like walking around looking at clothing, and shops even if I didn't buy anything. Bath & Body works is the only store I even shop at there. That's it. And it's a small store, and sometimes doesn't have what I'm looking for scent wise. A lot of other folks like if penny (way too expensive for what they sell) and there's a foot locker (I don't shop there but I know many do). There is another shoe place at one entrance but they never have sizes of shoes I'm looking for. As far as food goes, the pizza place is the only place that is decent. I think it's called elevated pizza? This town is already small, we need shops in the mall to get everyone excited to go again. The hobby lobby is attached to the outer end of the mall, and I go there a lot as well. I don't consider it inside the mall really, but that's all this mall has going for it. Recently, Mall Security Guard Trolls attempted to trespass me from land near the Mall that was not Mall property. ....I refused to leave under their orders, and was then banned from the Mall by these vultures. ....I then called the Flagstaff Mall Management Office to get this ban lifted (spoke to a Lee), and also report their Mall Security Trolls. ....Lee took all the Information, and told me that he would check into this,and call me back later that day ....Lee never called me back, and also blocked all my phone calls to Flagstaff Mall ...I was also blocked on the Flagstaff Mall's page, so that people could not read this story. ....Mall Lawsuit. read more

The Flagstaff Mall was a small mall with three major department stores: Sears, Dillard's, and JCPenney. The parking lot was large and there was no issue finding parking. We went on Black Friday so it was fairly busy but nothing too crazy. I saw no stores without people in them. The food court was large and bright with the overhead lighting. There was a huge fireplace in the middle of the mall when I walked around. I didn't have anything I needed to buy but wandered around to see how small this mall was. Overall, this mall was okay but should be fine for everybody in the area. read more

This mall has a huge sentimental factor for me. My wife and I used to come to Flagstaff when we were dating. The winters I can always remember the fire place burning and getting that mountain town feeling. Sadly, over the years many of the shops closed up as folks moved to online shopping. We still come to the mall regularly, but the fire place is rarely lit, and the walking seems to be through abandoned hallways rather than bustling with shoppers. That said, I hear there are some big plans for this mall in the near future. I certainly hope that it will draw the crowds again as this place is worth saving. read more

Not the best mall I have been to... not even close but its the only mall in Flagstaff and I do not have any other choice. One of the smallest malls I have been to and just not a lot for young men. This is the only enclosed mall in Flagstaff. Its quite small and a little out of the way as malls are concerned. My definition of a mall is a place that you can spend an entire day at, men and women included. However, this does not really fit the bill unless you count the fact that they provide free wifi. That is not to say that it is not worth a visit because it definitely is, since there are many places here that you won't find anywhere else in town such as JC Penny's, Spencer's, Dillards, etc. I myself like to shop at Dillards for my clothes, which is why I usually visit. Now on to the review. First the selection. There is a nice selection of boutiques here, and they appeal to all. Like most malls, the selections skew to women. No surprises there. They also have some standard mall mainstays such as Spencer's cell phone stores, a Gamestop, a food court, various vendors such as Pretzelmaker, and a restaurant, which I think used to be Ruby Tuesdays, but now its a Denny's. There are children's stores, specialty stores, a Sears, you name it. Not a bad selection overall. The Food Court. To tell you the truth, there aren't many options here. There is a Subway, a chinese place, a mexican place, a hot dog place, and pizza place. The healthiest option of course is Subway, which is disappointing to say the least. You can of course, opt to go visit the nut vendor to get a healthier meal, but otherwise, the food court is not the healthiest. Not to say its bad, because there is a nice selection, but I would like to see some healthier options for food there. As for the customer service and the location. Its all good. The mall is clean, there are people cleaning throughout the day, and sometimes they have events going on which are generally kid friendly and fun. However, unless you really need to visit some stores and get some shopping in, be prepared to be underwhelmed by how small it is and how quick you get through it. I came here to buy a tie at JC Penny's and decided to walk through the mall to scope it out. My visit was just over an hour, because nothing really interested me. read more

The mall used to be a lot better. It used to be full of stores, some that were a little different but full none-the-less. Now, it seems stores are disappearing at a rapid rate. I'm not sure if this is on purpose or accident but it's getting pretty slim. It's really unfortunate because how convenient is it to shop at a mall, everything under one roof? Now I find myself with multiple stops around town because the mall doesn't have what I need. I will say, if I'm in need of a good pair of dress shoes or if I hear of a great sale I will make a trip in but other than that, other stores in town tend to get my business. Hopefully, they can figure something out because otherwise I feel like Flagstaff is just going to end up with another abandoned, giant, commercial building. read more

Flagstaff Mall is a very small mall that is single level. However, some charm from the huge lit fireplace while it is snowing outside may gloss over the fact that there are few businesses to shop in. We stepped into Sears looking for a Homedics massager and they told me they probably wouldn't have it but I could order it online. Upon looking around I saw quickly that the store was very small. They have the basic mall stores: JCPenney, Dilliard's, Charlotte Russe, Bath & Body Works etc. I recommend the Old World Style Almonds kiosk, the fudge is amazing. Well, it was when the guy managed to stop flirting with my mom to give me some. Chocolate covered strawberries! I am in love. They seem to have a pretty decent food court, Filiberto's in a mall? I used to be a "mall rat" and I used to work at the mall as well. There's ALOT of good shops in the area. The food court is fairly small, not what I'm used to. Also, the food places are privately owned, not the typical chains that most are used to, but still good. read more

I should have listened when my officemate warned me about Arizona malls. Still, I came here to check it out and it wasn't as bad as I expected. I'm used to Florida malls, which can be downright dangerous, and I didn't get that vibe at all. Instead, it was just somewhat unfortunate to see that many storefronts were closed. It's a big mall with a lot of potential but apparently the prices are too high and the sales just aren't there. The college kids working in the stores are helpful and friendly though, and I still found a few reasons to spend money (that I don't have... oh well). I think the mall would do better closer into town, but being that Flag is a small town it still gets some traffic. I hope sales can improve in the future. read more

My Kids really enjoyed the kids play area, Mall very clean and some great stores. Everyone was friendly

It seemed pleasant with a nice children's area and moderate amount of shopping. Wasn't super easy to find but we aren't local. Really good parking. I look forward to visiting again when my daughter is at NAU in the Fall. read more

I'll keep it short. Basically what you see is what you get when it comes to flagstaff mall. It's small and has a various amount of stores inside. If they get the chance to expand they definitely should now that they're adding all of these new places on the east side of town it would really bring more people in. Overall, not that bad of a mall... just small and minimal options. read more

For what it is, and for the state of the economy it's an ok Mall. Does it have everything that I need? Can I buy a nice pair of denim? Probably not... but overall its ok. I've also heard that if you mention Yelp at Pacsun they give you 15% off your purchase. read more

Internet is very speedy. Got 20Mbps download for a good 30 min straight. Food court also has 110v outlets to plug into.

For a small mall the mall has pretty decent stores Bath and Bodyworks, My favorite pretzel maker, AT&T, Wells Fargo even a few places to get a haircut and a good selection of places to eat at the food court footlocker always stays pretty busy. The mall is very clean and organized the also has a have JCPenney's, and a few other department stores. Can't wait for the new Harkins open directly across the street from the food court who have 16 movie theaters in it. read more

... this review is based strictly off the children's play area, as we didn't visit any shops inside. We were visiting Flagstaff in June 2017 and stopped by the mall to let our 15 month old burn some energy on the play area inside. It was an okay play space. I can see how some would say it wouldn't be much fun with too many kids around. We have a climber and she's LITTLE so it was perfect that only a handful of children where playing while we were there. The ground is padded and the equipment is made of some fancy plastic foam or something (good if you happen to whack your head on something). She had a BLAST.. like, woah.. kid was on fire running around and being able to climb up the stairs to go down the slide by herself! read more

For being such a small city, they have a pretty decent sized mall. Could be better, but has all your necessities. it's pretty centrally located to all the bigger retailers just located in the surrounding blocks, so that's a plus. read more

It's a small mall in Flagstaff. I've stopped in a few times while working in the area before. Let's see there is a Sears or JCPenney's, Orange Julius also I noticed a proactive kiosk there too! This mall is ok. Very small with a bunch of empty spaces. Make sure you look online to see if the store you want is still in the mall. They are dropping like flies! But the stores that are in the mall are pretty good. Typical Sears, Dillards, Jc Penny etc read more
