I had broken my glasses and the lense kept popping out, so I looked up glasses repair near me and flagstaff vision was the first to pop up. Drove there and went in, the lady at the desk immediately got me situated and then a worker named Will helped me. He fixed them and cleaned them so nicely! I thought I had an appointment today, Oct. 18 at 4p. Apparently I was wrong. I requested an appointment for Oct. 18 at 4p on Oct. 7 through the company's website. I got an telephone call on Oct. 10 at 11:11a (MDT) and since I was at work I let it go to voice mail. The voice mail stated that the date was fine, but the best time they could give for the 18th was at 3:30p (MDT). I called back at 11:38a (MDT) and spoke with a receptionist for 4 minutes to schedule my eye exam for a new patient. I was offered the time of 4p during this conversation. This when I thought my appoint was set. As time went on I got no email's or follow up calls about new patient information or insurance information. I should have called earlier, but I didn't. When I called this morning to confirm my appointments, the representative who answered the called stated there was no record of my appointment. I thought as this time... okay... do I have the correct business that I spoke with last week. I then check my phone records and it was the same business. So I called back. The same representative answered the phone and I asked once again to verify if I was scheduled for an appointment at 4pm. I was told no and I was not even in the system at all. But there was an existing patient who had an appointment at 4p with the name Eric. Sounds like that might have been me and the person who spoke with had a moment. I simple... let put you on hold and confirm this. By calling the other Eric to confirm he did in fact make an appointment. Because this sounds like someone made a mistake. But I digress... this establishment has crappy customer service. I then get a call a few minutes later from this company. Basically, telling me I am in the wrong here with a condescending tone. And they only have records of my email and a voice mail being placed. Well guess who as the receipts, see below. Avoid this establishment if you are looking for a new optometrist. read more

Flagstaff Vision saved my vacation! I was on vacation about to visit the Grand Canyon and accidentally broke my glasses while on a hike the night before. They were able to fix my glasses and they were just as new again in 30 minutes! The optometrist was at the front desk and was extremely friendly. She gave me great tips on where to get the best views of the Grand Canyon, now that my glasses were fixed! Unfortunately Flagstaff vision lost me and my family as customers today. We've been going there for about 10 years now. I ended up having to get my last pair of glasses from Barnet and Delaney due to Flag visions limited selection of men's glasses. Although we've always had our vision inspections and bought all our glasses and contacts from them they still turned me away for requesting an adjustment. I'm not sure why they would sacrifice a long lasting relationship simply because I bought one pair of glasses from someone else. They lady who helped me was very bitter and annoyed at me and when I tried to ask to set up an eye appointment it didn't seem to matter as she had already stormed away into the back room. Apparently it's all or nothing with Flag Vision. Hopefully this isn't a policy, and just a bitter old lady, either way it's a silly reason for you to kick customers out. read more

I have been using the same Optometrist for years and when I moved to Flagstaff I knew I needed a new Dr. I read reviews and decided on Flagstaff Vision. Sarah Padrnos was amazing, she answered all my questions and more importantly, she did a very thorough exam and educated me on what is the healthiest way to care for my eyes. She took time to make sure my new contacts fit properly, and recommended readers so my eyes wont be straining anymore. I was worried about switching and finding a good Dr. in town, but now I can rest easy. Flagstaff Vision is seriously the best! Also, they are very clear on prices and give you options, but don't push purchases. I will be recommending them to my friends and co-workers. If you want friendly staff and a knowledgeable Dr. who seems to really care about your vision and who take the time to make sure you are well cared for, then this is the place. read more

I couldn't be happier with this place. I went for my exam last year, before I had insurance, and the cost of the exam and my new contacts was VERY reasonable. This year, I went back for my exam even though they don't take my insurance--the staff members are just so professional and friendly. I'm going out of the country soon and needed a couple of spare contacts before I leave (no time to get the prescription filled) and they ordered them for me at no additional cost. I take my whole family here. They did a fine job with my (ahem) bifocals, but they were super with my kids, both getting their first pair of contacts. My daughter was the easiest customer and they were great with her. My son had a heck of a time with putting stuff in his eyes. They were patient, kind, not condescending at all, and they made him feel fine about himself, even though he never did get the contacts in. Although Jamie and the other admin people were extremely helpful and super polite, I felt that the doctor could have been more engaging. He was nice enough but made absolutely no small talk which gave me the feeling that he booked way too many appts. The thing that bothered me the most was the that I wasn't told about the dilation. I have heard of it but, like a lot of other people, this was the first eye test that I have had in decades. It is a good thing that I wasn't driving cause I was literally blind. The staff was able to book me an appointment the next day and was quick and friendly. I came in early for my appointment because I was already out running errands and they got me taken care of very quickly. I commute from out of town and the staff was able to expedite my order so I could pick up the glasses before I had to leave. We only order our eye wear here - a good amount of average frames to chose from, slowly getting stocked with some higher-end designer eyewear. Took our 3 year old son here in Sept 2017 after our hotel's excess pool chemicals caused him extreme eye pain and tearing. They squeezed us in between appointments and saw him within 45 minutes of arrival. Dr. Sarah Padrnos was great with our son, super sweet and understanding, and also patient with his fear/hesitation. My experience with Flagstaff Vision was wonderful. The doctor was friendly, kind, and thorough. The staff (thanks Jamie!) guided me through my options as far as selecting frames in order to take full advantage of my coverage. I was able to get TWO pairs of snazzy spectacles!
